If you need stone, avoid this place. The original stone I…read morepurchased just didn't go well. In fact it was never laid and was still on the pallets in my front yard. When I called to exchange it for different stone, they refused. I explained I'd dispute it with my credit card for which they threatening litigation. So essentially I was stuck with $2500 worth of stone I didn't like and couldn't use. I then get a call from Neil who would talk over me, was rude and acted like he was doing me a favor by exchanging the stone. I was suggested to call Scottsdale and let them know what happened, which I did and their tune somewhat changed until I went in person to purchase the other stone. Again, disrespected from the staff and I literally asked them if they wanted my business or not, that I wasn't there to argue. I was told I was a "crock of shit" and they were doing me a favor. Needless to say, the stone was exchanged and I was overcharged by $200. Rather than arguing with an idiot, I let it go and finally got the stone I needed/wanted. From my personal and professional opinion, their customer service blows, they're disrespectful in all sense of the word even if they have a good selection of stone. If you need recommendations on other places to purchase stone, I can put you in touch with my mason who suggested I don't do business with them after the initial incident.

"AZ Block 2000" was the name of this paver manufacturer until Quikrete bought the facility five…read moreyears ago and changed the name to "AZ Best Block." I was very satisfied with the pavers nine years ago and I am told that the manufacturing process has not changed with the new owners. The "tumbled" pavers are very attractive and give a worn appearance to the final project. See my photo titled "20081115 Patio Paver Random Pattern from AZ Block 2000" for an example of my random placement design. There are no retail outlets for these pavers in the Tucson area, so you will not see them in any local Big Box Store. You will have to visit the manufacturing site just south of Twin Peaks Rd on the the I10 access road to see and buy these cement pavers (or drive to Phoenix). I plan to use another 200 Sq Ft of these pavers in the near future.

They provide hardscaping materials including decorative stone, sand, gravel, pavers, boulders among other services. The customer service was friendly and helpful. I like that you can take samples home and they're complimentary. They provide clear containers that you can fill with as many samples as you'd like, which is nice! Additionally they had a selection of large boulders that were fairly priced. Their selection of screen rock is good. We were hoping for a bigger selection but found the colors we were looking for. Pioneer is a great place to explore.
