Called this company and was impressed with the attentiveness. The gentleman (owner) came out to assess my carport so he could give me an estimate on a screen shade. The estimate was sent by the end of the day, and I thought it was very fair. Once I accepted it, the gentleman called me in a very timely manner and scheduled right away for the installation. Worst decision I ever made. I thought a veteran owned business would have more pride. Out of the three bids, I should have gone with the more expensive Westerner Products on Grant. Their materials were far better than what I rec'd. First, I had to wait for two months before they came out to start. M&M's workmanship was incredibly shoddy. The kids he sent only worked 4hrs a day. Door frames were made too large, out of plumb and out of square with gaps between the door and door stops. One door blows inward past the door jamb and gets stuck, requiring removal of the door to get it open. The threshold sweeps were cut 1-1/2" short, allowing bugs and lizards in. The pistons had to be jerry-rigged and have fallen off. There was a thick stack of shims under the latch catches that barely catch the latch. The foam plugs under the corrugated metal roof were not properly glued, so at least 17 have popped out, resulting in many bugs getting in. The kickplate along the bottom was so wavy you could see daylight and drop things thru it. A big gap between the wall and frame you could put your hand thru. Most of the screen splines were not seated, so the screens would blow out easily. Although he did make an effort to come back out, the results made little or no improvement. He promised to replace the sweeps they screwed up, but it has been over another month, and no response to emails. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. read more

Ad says you service Nogales. Really wanted to get an estimate to get a pergola installed....a large pergola for a carport and was told a ballpark price on the phone and asked to set up an appt to discuss materials etc rather than just a ballpark price on the phone, because we are serious and not window shopping. Was told you don't service the north rio rico area. Ad says you service all the way to Nogales. Very irritating to research companies, find one that services your area....only to find out they really dont and I'm not convinced that is the truth. Maybe 8k wasn't a big enough project to live up to their advertising. read more

We had two other companies come out and say it couldn't be done or they gave us some ridiculously high price that was a joke. M and M installed this in 2 days, 4 hrs one day. 3 the other. They are FAST! it is rated for 115mph winds. Wont need to be repainted. Highly recommend this company! There was a delay in getting supplies due to supply chain issues, but still got materials about 10 days before promised. This company went the distance to create a quality pergola for me. When my wood pergola fell, I searched for a company to create a new metal one. I got three estimates including M & M. Not only was M & M the most reasonable in price, but their products and employees are top notch. It did take a small wait before M & M could install, but that wait was well worth it. The design and construction showed attention to detail. There are other metal pergolas in the neighborhood, but mine is so much better in construction and design. There was one small alteration I chose to make. James, I believe to be the project manager, said he would have the pieces fabricated and have them ready when I was ready. I didn't call right away because I hadn't prepared for the addition. Without prompting, James called me to let me know the pieces were ready. I quickly got the area ready and called back. Immediately he scheduled the work. The work was supervised by Nick, who had been on the original job and knew just how it needed to be installed. I had a bad experience with M & M that still bothers me six months later. They installed a patio cover connected to the fascia that ended up with the removal of our existing gutter that diverted water when it rained. There was no mention of this to my wife who handled the project with the owner. There was no discussion prior from the owner that an alternative would have to be employed to solve water runoffs. They told my wife the project would take two days. The crew showed on time before I left for work at 7:30am. I arrived back home at 12:15pm to check on progress and the crew was finished. My wife had payed the balance when they were done. I immediately saw the issue and called to voice my concerns. The project manager called me back and discussed what could be done. He explained he would get back to me and never called back. I called again, spoke to the lady who answers calls, and again there was no follow up. I also want to voice my displeasure about how long the job took. Great when a crew is fast, but when told it would take two days and to come back and have it done in half a day is misleading. I also feel they took advantage of my wife by demanding to be paid. Part of that is on my wife for going ahead and paying. Trust comes back to bite you sometimes. read more

We accidentally found this place on the web. We hadn't had much luck with local searches and we usually just DIY all our projects. Several of our neighbors paid much more for smaller pergolas, We looked at the big box store and they finally gave us a price for the materials. Then we went to see these guys. Wow!!!!! What a pleasant surprise to find that M & M prices beat the Big Box Boys by several hundred dollars and the service is amazing. They gave us lots of helpful advice. We can hardly wait to install our new aluminum pergola. We would have had them install it, but have just recently had a big smack to our budget. read more
