A simple formula for a complex event. Thankfully, we had her expertise and support the entire way leading up to the engagement party (I mean wedding!) and, of course, throughout the day itself. For the 5 weeks leading up to our event, Vicky kept us engaged and focused during weekly meetings. Once we had all the checklists, mock table photos, inventory, timelines, and guest lists organized, she sent us off to relax for the remaining days of our singledom. During the wedding day, she kept us cool, calm, and collected. She rallied all the troops at the appropriate times; she even made sure we got ourselves food to enjoy before opening it up to the rest of the guests! My husband and I recently got married this month and we were absolutely OBSESSED with how everything turned out and that was completely because of Vicky. Our wedding has come and gone. We hired Vicky as our Day of Coordinator and I'm so glad we did! She was more than just a DoC she shared helpful tips and guides to help make my planning go smoothly. It was my first time planning and designing a wedding all on my own and she was a major help along the way from the very beginning. A month out from our big day was when she really got to work. Our weekly meetings began and she had so much insight into wedding planning. She gave us homework every week and really understood our direction and loved all of our quirky ideas. We had a very non-traditional wedding. It was fantasy-themed and heavily inspired by Lord of the Rings all things magical. She loved it! I'm a very particular and thorough person I wanted everything to go as smoothly as possible on the big day but alas that is not what the weather had in mind. We had to change our plans for an outdoor wedding to an indoor one and that was a tough decision to make. She made it clear to me what the pros and cons were of keeping it outdoors when it started to rain more. She quickly switched gears and helped organize and move the party indoors. Even with this huge unplanned change, we were still surprisingly on schedule! It broke my heart to see my vision change but in the end, it was still as perfect and magical as I wanted it. She truly executed the vision and made sure we were good checking on us every now and again making sure we ate and drank water. Vicky and her assistant were truly a blessing. They decorated everything exactly how I wanted it and I had a ton of decor so they had their work cut out for them! They were both incredible and so absolutely sweet.
