I ate there twice in the past month, both times ending up with some digestive issues. This isn't the first time that I've had Turkish or Mediterranean food, or even the first time in the Lehigh Valley, but the first time having food this bland. Perhaps the owner has lost his Turkish touch. On my first visit, I ordered a falafel sandwich and lentil soup. The cook asked me what sauce I wanted. I asked that he prepare it the way he would for guests. He explained that some people want humus, some want tsiziki sauce, and some want cucumber sauce. I asked again that he prepare it the typical way. When he seemed confused, I explained that I'd like it the way he would prepare it in Turkey, or if customers didn't make a preference. He just seemed confused and gave me humus spread. The falafel did not appear to include any spices -- it could have been prepared at Wegman's. The lentil soup was likewise bland. On my next visit, I ordered stuffed grape leaves and chicken shish kebab. The gape leaves had a bitter taste. The rice was watery, suggesting that they were sitting in cold storage for several days. (Fantastic grape leaves can be had at Elias' Farmers Market across the street for 25 cents each, but I digress.) The shish kebab tasted like the meat was recently reheated, perhaps in the microwave, and lacked any flair. The service is friendly but uninspired as is the cooking. The wind blows through the entire restaurant whenever someone opens a door. If they are hoping to get eat-in traffic, perhaps they should put a barrier up as One Third does. read more

Ask for a Turkish style "pizza" called pide. Not to be confused with the traditional pide bread (which is also baked fresh in house and wonderful). My personal favorite is egg tomato and cheese. Perfect comfort food. read more

The best Mediterranean food you will find in the LV. The most amazing grape leaves and baklava that I have ever had-- and I have had a lot! Also fantastic Turkish creme brûlée. Recommendations: The egg, kashar cheese, & tomato pide, the meze platter sampler, the Mediterranean and Shepard salads, the lentil soup, the bulgur rice, the zucchini & potato borek, the falafel wrap (specify what kind of sauce you like), the vegetarian manti (although I'm sure the meat option is better, and the lahmacun or kushbashi pide for those of you who do eat meat. We stopped here on a drive from Massachusetts to North Carolina totally on a whim and could not have been more excited by what we found! We had the appetizer plate which was fantastic and could barely eat the veggie dumplings (more of a pasta) and the lentil soup we ordered because the small appetizer plate filled up two people! My husband and I love this place! The gyros are the best in the area. We order from here once a week. The grape leaves are fantastic, yes they are a little bitter, but that's what makes them so good. We have also ordered the baba ganoush and the hummus and both are fantastic and served with warm fresh pita. I am addicted to the turkish tea. It is the best tea that I have ever tasted and a perfect ending to a great meal. The BYOB aspect is plus too! It does get busy on Friday and Saturday nights, so be prepared to wait. This place is off the hook. Went there on a Wednesday night and it was quite crowded. A small restaurant with 6 booths and a few tables. Had to wait a few before seated. Ordered lamb chops. Lamb kabob and a gyro. After a few minutes of waiting. I was able to chow down on the food. It was delightful and savory. All the lamb products have wonderful seasoning and I probably could have eaten double what I ordered. The only reason why I gave it 4/5 stars was for the music. This place is great! Just an FYI - its BYOB so bring along some wine or scotch if you are in the mood for a cocktail. They have wine glasses available. Attentive service, authentic, and excellently prepared quality food. Try the mixed appetizer - all the dips are amazing, and its served with this great homemade bread. If you'd like, they will bring pita at your request too. The lamb & beef gyro platter or over a salad is my go to item, but everything here looks great. The meat is amazing - excellent flavor. I'll definitely have to start trying some of the other entrees. I doubt you'll be disappointed here if you love Mediterranean food. read more

Really great food. If you like gyros, falafel, or hummus give this place a try. Good quality ingredients, excellent flavors. I removed one star because service is slow, which while there is a trade off between made to order quality and speed of service, how slow the service is keeps me from coming here more often. We've worked around this by calling our order ahead for take out, adding 15-20 minutes to the quoted time, and then grabbing it for take out. Give the place a shot (just don't be in a rush). I love this restaurant! The staff is always attentive and friendly, the service is quick, and everything on the menu is delicious! My favorite dish here is the Alexandra kebab; shaved lamb over butter roasted pita bits with seasoned rice and Greek yogurt! I also highly recommend the mixed appetizer! I've been here a few times and it has to be the best place in the Lehigh valley for Mediterranean food. The sampler appetizer dish is enough to feed two or more. My friend suggested Anatolian for take-out this weekend, and I absolutely loved it! After living in NYC for the last four years, I have not encountered a place as authentic as this. Love this place, my husband and I go here often, And everytime we have a good time. Staff always so nice, and pleasant. We always order the same thing, I get the Turkish meatball Kabob, And my husband gets the mixed grill, chicken and Turkish meatball kabob. It is always super good and tasty! I sometimes get the baklava to go, And tonight I ordered a baklava to go, and came home to find they had also given me a kazandivi. I was so happy, it was a nice surprise! This was a total surprise for me from my wife. She knows I love lamb and never get it at home so here we go! I had the kabobs which were cooked perfectly! The rice that accompanies it is very tasty. We had an appetizer of Baba Ganoush which we both loved(it was a lick your plate moment). Don't pass up the Baklava for dessert! Only downside is it is BYOB. Next time we'll be ready. read more

There are a lot of great vegetarian and vegan options. My favorite is the lentil soup and the ezme appetizer, which is like a dip with garlic and crushed tomatoes. It's also easy to eat healthily here. The prices are really reasonable and everyone working there is really friendly. read more

I've been meaning to stop by the place and now finally did. The gyro cheese pide and the chicken shish kebab sand which was very good but the grape leaves and rice was not that good both a bit mushy and grape leaves didn't taste like my Turkish friend's home made ones And either they didn't calculate correctly or added tip to a to go meal because there was close to $10 difference from what I ordered and cost. We had dinner and all of the food was enjoyable. The French Fries for the kids were crispy and juicy. The gyro sandwiches are made from the same standard pita bread however the pita was specially prepared and flavorful. Doner and Adana are delicious. Don't remember the names of the desserts but one was from milk and was like a shaped custard and the other vermicelli based. I question whether everything was truly homemade, for example the grape leaves were too perfect and seemed like it was store bought, but nonetheless our platters were very good - both ordered Adana Kebab. Ok, first of all, the food is undeniably excellent. I went in for lunch with a few people. In addition to the lunches, we had several appetizers, sodas, coffee, and several deserts, for a bill totally over $70. When I presented a voucher (one of those buy for $15, get $30 worth) I was told it was no good. After searching for some time, the waitress showed me the small print that said, "Not to be combined with another offer, not valid with specials." I said we didn't get a special. I was told the lunches were specials. I said that is not how any reasonable person would interpret that. I then instructed her to call the police if she wanted, because I was not paying. She apparently called the owner, and then apologized, saying that it doesn't cover specials. I then said, well EVEN if you do hold that line, what about all the appetizers, deserts, and drinks we had. She asked me if she wanted her to split the bill. I was dumbfounded at first, but then realized that she was going to put the lunches on one bill, and everything else on another bill... and then take $30 off of that bill.... Absolutely ridiculous... and though until the circus, I was already planning my next visit there, I will not return. read more

Amazing food, we got there at 950, 10 minutes before close, ate in no issues. Shepard salad was one of the best I've had and I try Turkish food everywhere including in turkey. I love this place! I've been really into BYOBs, I've been on a Mediterranean kick and live near by, so my friend and I decided to try their food. Wow! It will not disappoint. Everything we've ever ordered there (which over time, has been quite a few items since we return again and again) has been delicious. My wife and I cam here for the first time and loved everything we tried. We tried the pan fried liver cubs(if you like liver) and it was fantastic, the shish kabobs were just as good and we picked the bulgar wheat instead of rice which was good also for something different. I saw some others complain about being slow getting food, we came early and everything was fine and yes the food does take a little time since it is cooked fresh and not from a warmer. The food is delicious albeit expensive ($350) but they missed so many side items on my order such as 24 pieces of pita bread, a tray of salad, a tray of rice and tzatziki sauce.
