Horrible Endodontics! I told him, "I do not want a root canal," but he did it anyway! I had a terrible pain all night. I returned to his office for an emergency the next day and found out that he really did the root canal and cracked my top tooth. Dr. Vaisman denied me antibiotics and sent me back home. The pain becomes unbearable. I returned to his office again two days later and begged for some medicine for my pain and antibiotics. I lost my trust in this dentist. Later that day, I ended in the ER. I got pain medicine and antibiotics. I felt much better. The next day, still in pain, I went to an emergency dentist. They told me the cracked tooth might need a 3D X-ray to see how deep the crack is. Be careful with this dentist!! read more

Went in because I had a toothache. After an inspection from Dr. Vaisman it was determined I needed two crowns. After I was presented with a plan they said I needed to complete both crowns at the same time. They would not work on one tooth now and the other tooth later. It was either both or nothing. My insurance only covered one crown, that is why I could only take care of one tooth at a time. I was disappointed and had never heard of an office ever do that. I really wanted Dr. Vaisman to be my dentist but I guess it didn't work out. I wish I had an extra $2,000. read more

The office staff are super sweet. Araceli really took her time in making sure I was comfortable, Manny has a great upbeat personality, Mayra explained everything to me beforehand and did a great job. Veronica was very welcoming when I arrived and made sure I knew the staff by name and explained the process. At the end she went over the treatment plan in order of priority and really made sure I understood all my options. I'm paying out of pocket and she made sure to answer all of my pricing questions. I worked for a dentist to the stars in Beverly Hills, so I know how a good dental office should be run. Dr. Vaisman's office is right up there with my old office. His office observes strict Covid protocols: patients must wait outside the office and call upon arrival (no sitting inside their waiting room, although there are properly spaced benches outside in the hallway for seating), temperature check, masks when entering and off only during procedures, goggles during procedures, even having two pencil cups -- one for unused pens & after using, deposit into the used cup for sterilization. I also observed frequent cleaning during visits. His staff is impeccable, and everyone is polite, genuinely nice, and very accommodating. They are efficient, work as much magic as possible with insurance, and with the doctor's blessing, work out some of the best pricing for dental work I've seen in such a quality practice. They also consulted with my cardiologist and prescribed the pre-med antibiotics I needed, and got his okay for the procedures. Make no mistake, dental work is not a bargain basement service, but intricate, delicate work that takes skill and years of study and practice that is deserving of respect. That said, some of his pricing is less than my old elite office was charging two decades ago for the same procedures. But Dr. Vaisman is here for those of us who aren't rich, Beverly Hills stars. He truly understands the needs of his clientele, and many staff members are also bilingual. And I would be remiss in not noting that Dr. Vaisman's chair-side manner is wonderful. He puts you at ease, has an extremely gentle touch, gives virtually painless injections, and does it all with humor and grace. I was amazed that after an extraction, graft, and implant, I had NO bruising. And none of this "implants in one day" BS. He follows the proper timeline for the procedure so that the implant can unite with the jawbone so it can hold the final abutment and/or the crown. You can't rush the healing, and Dr. Vaisman cuts no corners. Even though the office is a little bit of a trek, I'd travel twice the distance for such quality work. I've already referred a friend who needs a new dentist. Trust is a powerful thing. And I trust Dr. Vaisman and his staff to provide quality, yet affordable work. A dental savior. I called in an emergency with a severely infected tooth. They got me in right away and provided impeccable support to my situation. I had a follow-up yesterday and they also took some more x-rays showing a few cavities. They provided fillings right then and there. Late post from two weeks ago. Came to get a cleaning and teeth filling for my two children. Adam at 8 years old gets his first cavity filled, while my daughter Ariana 4 years old gets 4 cavities! I know right what happy there! The dentist was so nice and patient with Ariana explaining every step of the process being 4 years old and all. Thank you very much for taking your time. It turns out that: I had Ariana brushing her teeth with Toms toothpaste which has no fluoride to protect against cavities, I had no idea. So glad to get this information at the dentist. This is my new favorite dentist! It's a bit of a drive, the offices are not the most modern, but the technology is and the efficiency of the staff make it worth leaving the west side. Dr. Vaisman is hilarious and has a wonderful bedside manner with children and adults alike. His technicians are professional and friendly as well. My initial x-rays were a breeze, and my cleaning was awesome. Both times I was seen within 5 minutes or less, and my actual cleaning took just 26 minutes from start to finish. Delilah was great! P.S. I found them to be very accommodating. I was in the process of getting new dental insurance through CIGNA, but did not have my card or member # yet so they had to look me up via SSN. They were very cool about the whole thing, even when my employer didn't have my SSN linked correctly and they had to wait another week for the correction so they could bill CIGNA. read more

Came here for first time after searching for the best prices around town for dental work and routine check ups. Definitely the most reasonable prices around! I was still a little nervous not knowing who the dentist was but once I met with Dr.Vaisman and his staff I felt very assured as he explained my oral health and x-rays. Through some neat video glasses he had me put on. As I opened my mouth, with a mini camera he pointed to my molar and explained WHY the procedure was needed. I felt educated enough to make a decision without feeling pressured. I felt no pain during the procedure and the doctor kept making sure I was okay by asking me throughout the time he was working on my molar. I walked out of the office feeling confident and cared for as a person and not just another number. I have found my new dentist!!! Other perks: I like their office hours 8am-7pm Mon-Sat., have tablets with games for kids to use while waiting and very nice staff that seem to enjoy working there. I was compelled however to to write rave reviews to the businesses that I frequented in the past and this doc topped the charts. He was very thorough, the staff was super nice, and he was very affordable. Anything less than 5 stars is a crime and should be punishable by root canal...just a thought. Dr. Vaisman is the best dentist I've ever had. I highly recommend him. I went to see him after I had a horrible experience at a previous dentist. My previous dentist was negligent and failed to tell me I had cavities until I needed 2 root canals. I had never had a cavity before in my life and I wasn't going to let someone I didn't trust drill into my teeth. I got my records and searched out a new dentist.....I'm so thankful that I found Dr. Vaisman after that. Dr. Vaisman was super funny and nice, and knew how nervous I was, especially since I had never had any previous dental work. I ended up only needing one root canal, and to be honest I didn't know I was having one till it was over and he told me I needed to come back for the crown. Sure I was sore later but the actual process wasn't bad. He made sure I was relaxed and as comfortable as I could be under the circumstances. The other 2 cavities I had were a breeze to fill since he used a laser (which was awesome) especially because there was no shots, and the best part NO PAIN! It took less than 15 mins and I was eating a hamberger with no problems an hour later. Going to the dentist doesn't seem as scary or nerve wracking anymore because I know I'm in good hands. read more

I can spend my entire review highlighting the pristine cleanliness of his office, or how his team treated me as family despite it being my first visit (they moved mountains to get me in the morning I called - customer service like this doesn't exist anymore), or how his work was perfect or how he returned my mouth back to a healthy condition. I can point out how conveniently located his office is and how unbelievably reasonable (beyond fair) his pricing structure is. I can describe his state of the art equipment. But what I want to focus on is him -- Anatoly Vaisman, DDS. He greeted me with a smile that didn't dissipate, ever. He absorbed my angst, embarrassment, and self-consciousness. I originally found his business through Groupon and thought I'd give it a try since he had the best deal for the 6 month smile braces. I went to the consultation, he was helpful and honest. After the consultation, I needed to find out if they are honoring the price that was provided on Groupon. The receptionist mentioned that the Groupon price applies for patients that don't need much movement in their teeth. Hence, when he spoke to me - he mentioned that I don't need braces because my teeth are good. The price went from $1,399 to $2,700. I requested for a estimate to be emailed and they never emailed me such quote. Two weeks later, they called mentioning they did not have my email and I confirmed that was the correct email address and yet I'm still waiting for that quote. I don't recommend it and I wouldn't trust it. False advertisement overall. read more

It's a bit of a drive from Hollywood, but it's so worth it. He has seen me through room canals, veneers, dental implants, and more. I am an original patient back to when Dr. Montes was there, I first saw them when I was about 8 years old in the old building on Brand. Please take this into consideration when shopping for a dental group. Dr. Vaisman is very much the professional and very knowledgeable about his craft. He is remarkable in the sense that he has this ability to know beforehand when a procedure is going to create pain. He is reassuring and always shows concern into how you are feeling. I was so worried after Dr. Montes retired since that meant I had to find another dentist. Well, I didn't have to look far since Dr. Vaisman was already on board before that happened.
