I explained my vision to him and he listened. He showed up to measure the space and brought a sample of the glass. Nice. The price included my hardware selection and the installation. it should be 0 stars. Often did now show up for scheduled appointments. After 6+ visits the work on a simple glass sliding shower door was substandard with a big gap underneath the glass, allowing water to scatter all over the floor outside the tub, and the two doors were different sizes. We could not find a contractor license in the business' name, even after requesting his contractor's license number. We finally paid him, just wanting his weekly visits after about two months to be done. Extremely unprofessional. After Carlos (The owner) came to my place, gave me an estimate and collected my security deposit ($500), he rescheduled installing my shower door approx 6 times. I was completely patient and understanding throughout the cancellations and made myself available every time. Carlos finally obtains my glass and decides to postpone installing due to him not wanting to drive in 5pm traffic. Ultimately, I decided to request a refund as I no longer felt confident in the job being completed. Carlos assured me that I would have my refund in 24-48 hours but approx 1 week later he stopped responding to my calls and text messages. Had he communicated with me about my refund, I wouldve let it go but not responding about a $500 deposit is insane. This business is a scam. My husband and I had to rip out our shower due to a leak and hired Carlos to do the glass. In early November, they came and measured and set up an appointment for installation a few weeks ahead. I never received a call confirming the installation, so I called myself. I was told the fabrication was taking longer than expected because it was the end of the year, but we rescheduled for a few days later. Same thing happened two more times over the course of the next couple of weeks (with me following up-never anyone from the company unless they were calling me back). At this point, I was ready to cancel all together, but my husband wanted to give the benefit of the doubt. He called and spoke to Carlos who said the delays were outside of his control, but he'd come on Christmas Eve if needed to get our job completed. Needless to say, we never heard from him that week-it was all false promises and lip service. After Christmas, my husband called again to follow up and set up installation for today, January 6-this is now seven weeks since we made our down payment and had measurements done. Our appointment was for 12pm-my husband called and texted multiple times with no reply after they didn't show. He then drove to the business itself to speak in person as this is now getting way out of hand. To both of our shock, there is NO business at the address listed for the company.
