Dropped my boat off before they opened , called them at open and said I wanted to pick it up before it starts raining .. no problem.. they never called , drive there at 430pn, boat was sitting on the street where I left it 9 hours earlier. I asked him why did I make an appointment two weeks ago for today if they weren't even going to touch it? His exact words. "That's how we do business".. for you long time customers I'm sure you're ok with how they do business, but for anyone thinking about using this place , BEWARE!!

I got a different boat and had issues with it on the water. Gave Rod a call to see if I could drop it off for him to look at this week. He said he was in the shop so I headed out there. Unhooked the boat, he took a look at it and said that it wasn't too big of a deal. He fixed it on the spot and I was on my way in less than an hour. Fantastic service. I surely don't expect him to drop everything next time I leave my boat for repair but service like that is unheard of in today's world. Take your boats or snowmobile to Rod next time you need work done. You will become a customer for life. Thanks a lot Rod!!

Offered me $5000 without an inspection. I left it & it was supposed to be gone thru at 9am Monday morning. I showed up at 1030, and they still had not started. Had all the paperwork done on the new utv (& loaded on the trailer) when they came back at 1:30 and nickle an dimed me saying it had alllllll these problems and offered $2k. It nixed the deal. Just a few reasons why I would highly recommend Shipwreck Boat Works…read more 1) Ryan is not pushy, took the time to educate me on things I didn't know about my pontoon or boats in general without making me feel stupid. 2) He did a great job fixing up my 1978 Sylvan pontoon with new carpet, seats, helm, etc. and let us provide our own accessories instead of buying through him. 3) He picked up our pontoon (for a fee of course) in fall and dropped it off in spring when it was finished. 4) I had the solenoid starter go bad on the outboard and he promptly came out to the lake to repair it. He charged a reasonable fee for the labor, parts, and coming out to the lake which was worth it considering I didn't have to pull it out of the water myself. 5) He has answered questions and provided solutions to help me diagnosis issues. I saved $130 because he helped me figure out how to fix a prop cavitation problem by myself. Tim
