This locally owned and operated motel is dirty, the rooms long overdue for an upgrade, and the owner and room cleaner, both old unkempt men who live in one of the rooms and in an RV hastily parked on the side, exhibit the most outrageous behavior.
At $100 a night you will find that the rooms are dirty and the sides and corners of the bathroom floors caked with dirt. We found a dead mouse under our bed. Guests aren't allowed to have anyone else enter their room to even visit or will be thrown out with no refund.
During my stay, the owner entered my room, walked around the room and freaked out when he saw a bathroom towel on the floor, picked it up and yelled at me but totally ignored the fact that I had used the towel to clean the bathroom floor to see how dirty it made the towel.
He told me that our other guest had not paid for another night even though we were told he did and made us leave the room immediately. We had to set our belongings outside the door to move our stuff to another hotel in two trips, and when we returned to get the rest of our clothes, to our horror the old guy who cleans the rooms and lives on the premises, had taken glasses of water that had spoons with peanut butter on them and dumped the contents onto our clothes saying " that's what your clothes are worth".
It is a crazy madhouse at this motel and is not recommended considering the price and strange personalities. You can stay at many other motels and hotels in the area for the same price with no harassment whatsoever. read more
