They have lots of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean spices, foods and drinks all fresh and in stock. They also have Middle Eastern and Islamic housewares for sale near the register. The store is large and well lit. This is one of the BEST halal groceries I have been in, even including the ones in SoCal. The meat I ordered was very fresh and well priced, even better than Safeway prices. All in all I highly recommend this grocery store and I am so glad that we got one on this side of the bridge.

He then wrote down the name of another film for me to enjoy. And today I visited again and got everything I needed ( I love those MTR Minute meals! Just pop the packet in boiling water and in 5 minutes a delicious meal for when I am too tired to cook.) and checked out. My bag was a bit heavy and as soon as I paid Irene, she was up front today, picked it up and said she'd bring it to my car. (These days I am having mobility issues and use a cane.) Adding that 2nd meat is what kicks the price up a few more bucks. A heated sandwich request adds .50c and extra meat is another $2 on top. Truth be told, most other deli's and sandwich shops have an equivalent option for slightly less $ it seems. Would be gravy if they threw in a can of generic soda pop (Shasta, Cragmont or the like) and maybe a mini bag of chips for this pricepoint, but whatever. Not a deal breaker. Sandwich was very good and they advertise using Boarhead brand meats. It's a winner, if not an everyday lunch option based on price. Check it.
