Great place to shoot. Indoor range with automatic target retrieval systems so there's no waiting for all the other shooters to stop shooting so you can trudge down to score your target or place new targets. You just activate the remote console and the target comes to you! They also offer rental firearms and sell ammo, eye protection, and ear protection. So, you could just walk in, buy ammo and appropriate protective gear, a target or two, and rent a firearm and step in to the range and practice your target shooting skills! There is also a selection of firearms and firearm accessories for sale. Are you looking for instruction on safely firing the firearm of your choice? They offer classes ranging from Proper Firearm Practices to Self-Defense and even offer classes that satisfy the state requirements for concealed pistol permits and hunting. Give them a visit. Signed up for a course and immediately cancelled a day later as I called in the next day to see if they would issue certificates for the course. They said that they didn't. I asked for a refund and they told me they had to keep a 10% fee for canceling the course which they say is easy to see on their sign up and cancellation policy. I asked for a refund and no refund. Great staff, always willing to work with me and answer any questions I have. I've used them for an FFL transfer a few years ago as my first interaction with this range and have yet to be disappointed by their services so far. I'd give this place 6 stars if I could but they talked me into a purchase that got me in trouble with the wife. Guess they'll have to settle for a measly 5 star review. read more

I've yet to have a good experience with these people. Employees range from extremely helpful to rude, condescending and snobby. I'd say more as I have several horror stories, but there is a chance they would learn from it. I did complain after their first fiasco, but it was to the latter of the employees I described so customer service wasn't their forte. read more

Pacific Indoor Tactical is a bit of a drive for me so I had high expectations. I had dropped by with my wife on an earlier visit just to put eyeballs on it and it looked promising enough to make me head back for a long shooting day. The people running it checked me in and looked thru my guns for the day, all 22 smallbore so there was no drama. The rules are pretty standard and they watch the shooters thru windows into the lobby. I like that. The target carriers are solid and don't bounce. This is a pet peeve of mine as its difficult to shoot accurately at targets if they are moving around. The benches have enough room for you to be comfortable and the shooting bay is wheelchair doable. Prices were acceptable and there are a selection of rental guns as well as guns and ammo for sale..... They cater to the Black Rifle Crowd as should be expected by the name, and the owners are Veterans, ex Navy Guys from NAS Whidby..... A pleasant suprise was a 3 screen computer firearms simulator with tons of programmed scenarios and I checked it out. Its an impressive system and the guns are real pistols repurposed to shoot only electronically, they feel amazing...... I can see this being a real fun place to have a party and probably an even better place to bring a new shooter. No flash, recoil or noise issues and you can train them in complete safety without needing hearing protection since you talk in normal voices.... A REAL GOOD idea.... What I like...... The shooting bay is noticeably quieter than other commercial ranges. Its pretty well lit and If you call ahead and bring a shooting mat, you can shoot 4 position. They had extensions for targets that made shooting Prone quite enjoyable. They didnt look down their noses at my precision rifles, in fact the JR ROTC team shoots there with full range support every morning....... What I didnt like..... Earthquake guns. They let you shoot just about any safe rifle/pistol under 50 BMG and some of them are a bit unnerving. All in all, it was worth the drive since 4 position isnt something you get to shoot everywhere. Came in to shoot my pistols a few weeks ago. Very very new facility. Immaculate. Tons of guns to rent or purchase. The best part was the staff. Doesn't feel like a typical gun shop where you leave feeling rushed and not properly attended. I will be going back whenever I get a chance. Will purchase my AR from them as well. I just attended a rifle class with James. I have a shot gun and an AR 15. I have never shot them before and to say the least I was pretty scared of both of them. After a one on one class as well as practice shooting I came away with so much more confidence than when I entered the class. James was so patient with me and made it fun. I was white knuckling my fire arm while firing it which effected my accuracy. After gentle feedback and encouragement, I improved my shooting ability with the calming effect of James's instruction. I recommend this place to anyone at all levels. You are always greeted with friendliness and treated with utmost respect. Very friendly staff! It was my first time shooting my pistol at the range and my sights were off. I asked one of the owners if they could sight it in for me, no hesitation. Shame the employee's are to busy speaking with each other to help waiting customers. Not worth the time or visit. All businesses get off to a rocky start having gone there when they first opened and experienced sales clerks who ignored a female shopper, seen other customers being ill treated I thought perhaps they had gotten over their growing pains. while the staff was much improved over previous visits and finding them more professional then previously the poor management and confusion over different functions at the business left many irate customers. Your money and time is best spent at other local and semi local places (skagit, north whidbey sportsmen's association (which is around the corner from them and an affordable and nice range with well organized events) , central whidbey sportsmen's association (up the road a bit but has well organized events and nice ranges,) or Greens where you can find better prices and a more welcoming place of business for women and other groups of ppl. Not worth the time or drive to visit. Stock is limited and over priced. read more

The management and employees are rude and clueless on this type of business. There tactical training room doesn't work properly the aim on all of the weapons is off. The CO2 blowback system stinks and they don't keep the weapons Lubed so it never works properly. One day you're allowed to use one type of ammunition and the next day they won't let you use the same one. Weapon size changes consistently, one day you can shoot a Mosin-Nagant the next day you cant. One day you can shoot hollow points the next day you can't. The so-called rental ammo they use are reloads that are garbage and are over priced. Ammo is alot cheaper at walmart. Rental and range fees are over priced. Skagit is alot cheaper. read more
