I write this on behalf of my husband and the situation he has had with this business. We were next door at the shooting range looking at guns and saw that he could order ammo through this company. He did so on his phone trying to set it up for pick up. He clicked on any boxes required but once he was done paying for it, it charged him approximately $22.00 for mailing it to us. (We are only 6 or so miles from the business.) He tried calling the company and the phone rang several times and then hung up. We asked the gentleman at the shooting range and he told my husband to e-mail them to take care of the problem. My husband did so once we got home. This morning he finally got them on the phone. They had not looked at their e-mails (claim they are too busy) and so we are out the extra money for shipping. Not even an attempt to make a local patron happy. Word of mouth will most undoubtedly happen from this situation and he has a lot of friends that shoot. read more

So I just get a message on my phone from these guys, apparently they finally noticed something was wrong with their shopping cart.. That only took just about 3 weeks from the first order I tried to place and told them their cart was glitching on the phone. They wanted to let me know they noticed I had registered an account and had not purchased anything....so...hey..its working now....can we get some of your money? I had learned of RBS ammo from a local gun store. I found their website and ordered a couple boxes of 9mm and 45 to test. I used local pick up and it was ready the next day. The ammo was quite good. It fed and fired consistently. I liked the ammo and prices, so I placed a larger order. Once again it was ready the next day. I met the owner who was very pleasant and informative. A note to the previous poster: These folks sell mostly to dealers with the retail website as a sideline. My take is that they make good ammo at good prices but are not primarily an Internet business. I shoot their stuff. It's reasonably priced and every now and then its insanely cheap on special. Their 45 ammo works without fail in my High Mileage Glock. This stuff is Hardball range ammo, but it groups way better than that for me. I have been pleasantly surprised with it. I wish I could tell you more about their 223, but I haven't had it beyond 100 yds anywhere. I have no idea how accurate it is at distance, but it does drill holes in dimes and quarters at 25 yds indoors. I've had 1 malfunction out of the entire stash I've shot in my black rifle, and that was probably the gun. Good stuff...... I've bought a lot worse for more money....... read more

I love their products esp. for the price, have not had any quality issues... I agree with the other (filtered) review, you gotta cut them a little slack, this is a small family owned shop as I understand it. If they don't notice the website is down or answer the phone right away its probably because they are busy out on the floor making the ammunition... read more

I would like to speak up in defense of RBS Ammunition. I am a USPSA Member and competitive shooter. I mix it up, sometimes shooting my FNS-9 in Limited Minor or play with the Big Boys using my Kimber Custom (thats my tricked out fancy gun). Either way, I started using RBS Ammunition because of the price. Having researched reloading I realized that once I added my time commitment to the equation it didn't look like such a cost savings. Then I came across RBS, and loading just did not make any sense anymore. Since then, I am pleased to say, that the quality of this ammunition far exceeds my expectations. I have shot several thousand rounds in 9mm and the same equivalent in 45 ACP and have never had a failure of any type. The same fact cannot be said for other brands that I have used. My FNS-9 has a beefier recoil spring than an M&P 9 or the XD's in 9mm and my I am using a Wilson Combat Flat Recoil Spring in my Kimber because the increased recoil tension helps keep me on target during a COF (Course of Fire). This means I need ammunition that is consistent and reliable because both my pistols can be a little finicky. I have never had a failure to cycle with RBS while I have with other brands like Remington and Winchester which cost $5 to $7 buck more per 50. My Point is that RBS is excellent in quality, accuracy, and price. They are a small company which means they have had a few growing pains, but don't right them off because of them. I've bought 9mm and 45 ACP from RBS, likely 3 orders of 45 ACP and 1 order of 9mm. I've had good success with their online order system so hopefully the previous problem has been addressed. I will specify that I will pick up the ammunition when I'm going through Burlington and they have had it ready to go at the front when I've shown up. read more

i have ordered pistol ammo from these guys, the service was great,and the product, 38special, 40cal, and tons of 9mm, all quality stuff, no problems at the range.Havent tried the 223 yet, Although the prices just recently went up, i guess they are just keeping up with demand. read more
