I loved the fact that there were as many women working there, with their sidearms securely in their holsters, as there were men, Very nice to have women that my wife can talk to about the various types and styles of handguns for home defense to personal protection. Anyway, we heard that gun laws were much less restrictive in Washington, so we brought our Sig Pro 2022 to "pop off a few rounds." We didn't really know what to expect since California instilled a culture of fear of guns in us. The staff at Marysville Rifle Club were very friendly and helpful. They signed us up, the prices for shooting were reasonable, and we were shooting within 10 minutes of arriving. The only negative thing I could say is that there is a two year wait list to become a member therefore the only open days to shoot for non-members are Thursdays.

I am in my second year of membership. Only members and…read more**accompanied** guests are allowed. The is a great 60-acre facility with a 95 year history. All Members have attended mandatory orientation where the clubs rules are discussed in detail and passed background checks before being approved for membership. Because NWSA is self-policing, with range masters not always being present, guests must sign waivers and Members are responsible for the actions of the guests, including compliance with all rules. This is taken very seriously. The grounds are under 24 hour surveillance. If you don't approve, don't join. But if you want a great private facility for pistol, rifle, trap, and archery, attend a monthly membership meeting.

He clicked on any boxes required but once he was done paying for it, it charged him approximately $22.00 for mailing it to us. (We are only 6 or so miles from the business.) He tried calling the company and the phone rang several times and then hung up. We asked the gentleman at the shooting range and he told my husband to e-mail them to take care of the problem. My husband did so once we got home. This morning he finally got them on the phone. They had not looked at their e-mails (claim they are too busy) and so we are out the extra money for shipping. Not even an attempt to make a local patron happy. Word of mouth will most undoubtedly happen from this situation and he has a lot of friends that shoot.

I have a 15hp Mercury 2-stroke outboard engine that had a frayed and stretched control cable. The…read moreengine wouldn't shift between drive, neutral and reverse. I took the engine to Performance Marine who conducted a very thorough inspection of the engine and recommended I get a tune-up and service the water pump as well as fixing the tiller cable. I also had one transom bolt that was stripped and they replaced that as well. This engine is a workhorse and I have had it for decades with no issues. It is reassuring to know it has now been professionally inspected and tuned up. I will probably get many more years out of it. Ironically, after I picked up the engine from Performance Marine, it was literally a YEAR before I put her in the water. When I finally did, I was nervous (and a bit embarrassed) that I had never tested it after the repairs. To my delight, she fired up on the second pull! A fine day ensued crabbing and sight-seeing on Dungeness Bay in Sequim.

There is a range with targets set up at 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 yards. Additionally, there is a walk-through course in the woods with numerous targets at various distances and different elevations! The fee is $2 per day. If you become a member it's a $10 initiation fee and then a $30 annual fee...come as often as you want in a year. If you want lights at dark for the range, bring your quarters to operate the lights...$1 in quarters turns on the lights for half an hour.
