Also a good selection of bottles that's not available at many other places. The food isn't as unique, but it's tasty and well-cooked, and prices follow the same philosophy as for the beer. You can be sure to find something that fills you up for between 120-160 kr and also tastes really good. The crowd is a wild mix between young and old, locals (that maybe visit the place a bit too often for their own good), beer enthusiasts and others. But the atmosphere is almost always very good. The staff can seem a bit uncaring, but chances are they remember your preferred beer after a couple of visits, so be patient! :) A good visit during the winter when the place is warm and cozy and packed with people, as well as during summer when the outdoor tables let you enjoy the nice surrounding streets.

In hindsight, just about everything we ate in Stockholm was simply on another level. The quality and care that goes into the preparation is simply superior to what occurs back home. Dishes are kept simple and made with fresh ingredients. Everything is made to order. So all in all despite some of my initial reluctance we ended on a high note and had a great lunch. If you're young and hip this is definitely a place to go.

Pretty hard to find if your just walking the streets in Gamla Stan but so worth it if you find it. Excellent drinks and while we were there, they had a beer special that was up my alley- so to speak. We also enjoyed some smoked salmon for an appetizer that was awesome as well. Some colorful lights and a large umbrella with some space heaters help to take the chill out of the late summer nights. And the bartenders were spot on with a drink or beer when needed. Just what we needed after some full days of walking through the historic town that is so full of great things to see. It's not often I want to try something a second time, but this space deserves a return trip.
