Been wanting to come here for so long and finally made it here! We went to the brick and mortar location, not the boat one in the water. I went in right when they opened to avoid the lines and food came out pretty quickly. There are only a couple tables inside to sit while you wait but it gets pretty crowded once there are a lot of people waiting for their orders. But they do have shaded seating out front, along with bathrooms! I didn't have high expectations but I was actually pretty impressed. The meals itself are a little pricey since it doesn't come with a side but you're allowed to do that when you're the only food option on the lake! The portions were actually really good though so I thought it was fair. The popcorn shrimp was enough for at least 2 people to share and I liked that you could get it with both cocktail sauce and tartar sauce. The yeehaw burger was cooked perfectly! I loved the pickled jalapeños and the amount of sauce they put. So satisfying!

This place exceeded our expectations, especially for a walk-up spot by the lake. It was our first time here, and we are already big fans. The portions are generous, the burgers are massive, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The lake access is just awesome and really adds to the overall experience. We're stuffed!

We went to Folsom lake and this restaurant was located on the main beach. Curly fries, and sailor fries was a pretty small portion and probably only feeds one. The fries were pretty standard and taste good enough to the the kiddos.Tentacle fries came in a large box also $10 more and can easily be shared with three others. Tentacle fries were definitely worth the money to me because of the generous portion of pulled pork. The shaved ice was good with extra condense milk and thee portion was huge. Service was quick and friendly but I was charge an extra $1 for an ice cup.

They have a brick and mortar location at Granite Bay main beach. I haven't been here in a couple of years so I'm not sure if they're new here. I don't remember seeing them before. For $7 they give you the most massive snow cone. It was delicious but my only complaint is the ice was ground very coarsely so I felt like I was tasting more ice than flavor. I also purchased fried pickle spears which was awesome to try as most places I've been only offer pickle chips. The sauce that came with it was delicious. Sort of a spicy chipotle. There's a paddle board rental as well that I assume is part of their establishment, it's part of the same building at least. The coolest part is it appears they have a food boat on the water that you can paddle out to. Very creative and I wish there were more places like that. I haven't gotten to paddle out to it yet but I will on my next visit!

Recently stopped by the floatin' food boat and was surprised by how good it was! Hands down the best truffle fries I've experienced in my life. The fry on them is insane 10/10 must try. The burger was fantastic as well loaded up with onion rings, bacon, jalapeño, and a good amount of sauce. We pulled up to the boat to order and waited about 10 min before we got called over to come grab our food and there were several boats in front of us so pretty quick service as well. Being on the lake is the best place to eat and they might be adding some tables to the shore later this summer! My only complaint is that the food boat is only open 2 days a week!! If you're out on the lake on the weekend stop here - it will be anchored at the north side of the main basin in between the forks all summer!

**Anchored Eats is Fire!!!** This place never disappoints. I've been back 4 times, and every single visit has been better than the last. The burgers and hot dogs here blow every other restaurant out of the water--no comparison. The flavors are on point, the quality is top-notch, and the customer service is amazing. The staff is friendly, efficient, and always makes you feel welcome. Plus, the food comes out quick, so you can enjoy that mouthwatering goodness without the wait. Do yourself a favor and get to Anchored Eats ASAP--you won't regret it!

Only tried their fries so far which was very yummy and reasonable priced. Rented paddleboard which was only $18. Very friendly people working here. Glad to see this new shop here!

Wow. Good food. I'm so excited this place exists. The burger was gloriously grilled and the buns were deliciously buttered. Heaven on a bun.

Hope it helps! Entrance is accessible from Greenback Ln with $10 fee required per vehicle. 2 Parking lots available - 1 closer to boat launch area and another further lot that's more convenient for picnic areas and tables. Plenty of tables and area for lots of families to enjoy some water festivities! Have a big party or just want to lock down a few tables? Highly advise to come early. If you just need some space to place your mats down, it should be just fine. Incredible trails alongside the water for walking, jogging, and bike riding. Dogs are welcome but just make sure you pick up after them (I noticed a good number of dog poop near the water edge). Want to take a dip? Feel free! Quite cold but more than welcome to. Biggest reason why we came here? To see how the Kayak Rental system worked. Scan the QR code or visit the site to book your rentals and sign waivers. I was told they rented daily by a worker (young ones) but their online reservations just show weekends and random Wednesdays.. so good luck. Honestly Rental prices are higher than another spot we've been to, but this spot was much closer to home and easier to access. Price for convenience! We didn't go kayaking on this particular day but definitely plan to return with our own paddle board/Kayaks since it just makes sense to invest and go whenever we want versus rent a few kayaks with high rental feels. Who wants to return within 1 hr?! No way, you gotta stay out in the midst of nature for at LEAST a few hours! Pathway Tip: Walking or jogging? Stay on your left. Biking? Stay on your right. Standard Placer County rules. Great spot for families whether you want to picnic, swim, paddleboard, kayak, go for a nice walk, jog, or bike along gorgeous river waters scenery. Have fun!!

It made me excited to rent from this business. My booking was for 4th of July and even before I booked I did speak with them about booking and they gave me their advice. Day of, I called to let them know I'd be running a little late past my booking time, I spoke with Jamie and she said thank you for the heads up, we'll see you soon." I arrive for her to tell me that all state parks are full and she blocks bookings off after 11, knowing that I booked for 11:30. I do understand that it's a holiday and a weekend, so state parks being at full capacity is out of her hands. What I do not appreciate was her tone and attitude with us versus other customers, her not giving us a heads up knowing we were running late, and she still gave people more of the options of getting their rentals and where they can try versus what felt like she was simply dismissing us. May try to come again, but for a 2 hour drive and to receive customer service like that in person versus whoever I previously spoke to on the phone- to be determined.

I felt this way about Mello so I wanted to share my experience in this review and hope others give them a chance and come away feeling the same way I did. I stumbled upon this place during my search for a used wake surf boat. They were listing a used Calabria boat that I went to go check out. We were greeted by the owner Sally and we got to talking about wake surf boats in general. She spent about 30-45 min with us talking about her history, wake surf boats and telling us about the Centurion boats that she sells. Since I had never owned a wake surf boat before she gave us some really good info and insight into what makes a good surf boat and why Centurion was one of the top manufacturers. We left knowing we had to do more research which I did. Fast forward a year later, I ended up getting a used centurion wake surf boat. My point is I would have never thought about a Centurion boat until speaking with Sally, and we really appreciated her time and knowledge on the subject. We certainly don't have new boat money but we never felt dismissed or judged or made to feel less important because we weren't there looking at new boats. We also never felt like Sally was pushing us to Centurion or a specific direction. She was certainly highlighting why she felt the Centurion boats were the best, but I did my own research and eventually came to the same conclusion. I felt like the Centurion boats were high quality builds and they were the ones that started the whole wake surf boat build. I just recently dropped off my boat to Mello Marine to have them service it and add some features to it. It's not the closest shop (2 hrs away) but it's the one I felt most comfortable with and trusted. I first spoke with Luke who was great and helpful on the phone and I have since been dealing with Ricky. Everyone I have encountered at Mello Marine has been great, helpful, courteous, and professional. I have been genuinely impressed and pleased in all my interactions with this family run operation. So far, I have had great experiences with this shop and I have no doubt it will continue. I like to say Sally brought us back to Mello. Ricky made sure we're staying with Mello.
