We're so happy that there's real food at Folsom Lake now! We came over Memorial Weekend. Their menu includes burgers, fries, hot dogs, snow cones, and shakes. We got a regular burger, the yeehaw burger, and truffle fries. The burgers were a little pricey but good quality and huge. We couldn't event finish them between our family of 4. They were cooked well and loved all the toppings on the yeehaw burger. We also got snowcones after and those were a great treat after being in the sun. Other than food, they rent out different stuff for the lake like giant floats. They're definitely a great addition to the lake! read more

Been wanting to come here for so long and finally made it here! We went to the brick and mortar location, not the boat one in the water. I went in right when they opened to avoid the lines and food came out pretty quickly. There are only a couple tables inside to sit while you wait but it gets pretty crowded once there are a lot of people waiting for their orders. But they do have shaded seating out front, along with bathrooms! I didn't have high expectations but I was actually pretty impressed. The meals itself are a little pricey since it doesn't come with a side but you're allowed to do that when you're the only food option on the lake! The portions were actually really good though so I thought it was fair. The popcorn shrimp was enough for at least 2 people to share and I liked that you could get it with both cocktail sauce and tartar sauce. The yeehaw burger was cooked perfectly! I loved the pickled jalapeños and the amount of sauce they put. So satisfying! read more

We went to Folsom lake and this restaurant was located on the main beach. Curly fries, and sailor fries was a pretty small portion and probably only feeds one. The fries were pretty standard and taste good enough to the the kiddos.Tentacle fries came in a large box also $10 more and can easily be shared with three others. Tentacle fries were definitely worth the money to me because of the generous portion of pulled pork. The shaved ice was good with extra condense milk and thee portion was huge. Service was quick and friendly but I was charge an extra $1 for an ice cup. read more

You can't beat the location right on the main beach. The food (we all had burgers) exceeded our exceptions. The fries were tasty. Service was friendly and they brought the food out to our table on the patio when it was ready. Two reasons for not giving the restaurant five stars. Near the seating area and entrance they had a loud fan blowing for their "air dancer" advertising their location. The blower creates a lot of noise and really distracts from the ambiance of the place. Also when you sit at a table the top of their fence which is used to enclose the seating area blocks your view of the lake. That seems like a poor design choice. But overall it is worth a drive, ride or hike to Anchored Eats. read more

I honestly wanted to chalk the wait time up to them preparing the food but they have not even done that since the burgers are served RAWWWWWW. We didn't have food but we rented some water toys. They weee super friendly and wonderful people. After renting a kayak we asked if we could rent the life vests and they allowed us to use them for a little bit because it empowered the children. Would highly recommend them. They have a brick and mortar location at Granite Bay main beach. I haven't been here in a couple of years so I'm not sure if they're new here. I don't remember seeing them before. For $7 they give you the most massive snow cone. It was delicious but my only complaint is the ice was ground very coarsely so I felt like I was tasting more ice than flavor. I also purchased fried pickle spears which was awesome to try as most places I've been only offer pickle chips. The sauce that came with it was delicious. Sort of a spicy chipotle. There's a paddle board rental as well that I assume is part of their establishment, it's part of the same building at least. The coolest part is it appears they have a food boat on the water that you can paddle out to. Very creative and I wish there were more places like that. I haven't gotten to paddle out to it yet but I will on my next visit! read more

Was sitting on the beach and the 4x4 was driving around taking orders. Well that is already awesome! We ordered some chicken strips and fries, Jelly Fish jam burger, and a Chicago dog. Maybe 20 minutes later the nice lady and guy dropped off our food. Holy smokes the food looked good! Not only did it look good it all tasted good. The burger had some raspberry jam. That combo was so good. The Chicago dog was perfect. Toasted bun and all the fixings. You know it's legit when it has the neon green relish. The fries and chicken strips just as good. We finished up the day with a snow cone. We got that while going back to the car. 5 star for food and beach side service. The people running the place are very nice. It's convenient when having a day on the lake but still come prepared with a back up for food. The kitchen was down due to lost power & we were told this happens often by staff. It opened later and sadly we were missing an item from our order, we got one chicken strip (was told something was wrong with the rest) and the hamburger was so undercooked it could not be eaten. Recently stopped by the floatin' food boat and was surprised by how good it was! Hands down the best truffle fries I've experienced in my life. The fry on them is insane 10/10 must try. The burger was fantastic as well loaded up with onion rings, bacon, jalapeño, and a good amount of sauce. We pulled up to the boat to order and waited about 10 min before we got called over to come grab our food and there were several boats in front of us so pretty quick service as well. Being on the lake is the best place to eat and they might be adding some tables to the shore later this summer! My only complaint is that the food boat is only open 2 days a week!! I discovered this place through a friend since I don't have social media. Always check their location before driving to them and bring sun block. I don't like today's location as it was too sunny and I felt like I was walking in the desert to get to them. I wonder if that is their marketing strategy. BUT the burger! There is only one meat option burger on their menu. Get that one. It is absolutely mouthwatering amazing. I inhaled that burger. The patty was thick and didn't require any chewing. If there was a food competition, I would win because that burger was delicious. It would be a shame not to eat more than one. I don't know what sauce they put in it but to add anything else would be insulting. The caramelized onions was an added bonus to the taste buds. I ordered the hot dog and I couldn't enjoy it because the burger was 10x better. I do like the added sautéed bell peppers. If I was in a hot dog mood I would order again. I had their truffle sea salt fries with parmesan cheese. The fries were very soft. I'm not used to soft fries but it brought out the flavors of the truffle. I had truffle in other meals but could never taste it. I hope they keep their menu small because I think the selling point is their burger. I will be returning for that burger. We're excited to try their menu but the thing is we've waited for 20 mins. To get nothing. They didn't cook our food because earlier when we are ordering they keep chitchatting in front and forgot to print our receipt. They "said" the internet is "slow" lol what a joke. Also the old lady there was rude she also throw my phone because their card reader is not work I hope to do your job first before chitchatting and don't be rude to the customer because it's your fault not ours. My husband and I heard about this restaurant through social media and decided to give it a try. It's fantastic! We both ordered the Knot Your Average Dog, which is a butterflied hot dog topped with fajita veggies and dressed with an incredible honey chipotle aioli. The hotdog had a great snap, the toasted bun had the perfect texture, and the veggies and sauce were to die for. Ha! A floating food truck. We pulled up on boat today at Folsom Lake near Granite Bay to what I would call a "small houseboat food float" to get some lunch. Got the Yee Ha and Folsom Blues burgers with their house cut fries. Food was outstanding. An awesome concept! I would recommend hitting them up on the lake if you are out there.
