She did a thorough intake assessment and now requests updates about my condition from my physical therapist. Her deep tissue work and passive stretching help me a great deal. The direct benefits of the massage last for at least 2 to 3 days, and provide much more relief than simple relaxation during the massage itself. She is professional and caring and very talented. There doesn't seem to be a ton of people working here (maybe two from my visit) so that means the phone calls don't go through to a person. I found the scheduling process fairly easy once I got a person on the phone. They seem busy, but they are small, with possible 2-3 massage rooms, so keep that in mind when booking. The place is in a building with a bakery on the end, a barre studio in the middle, Natural body works on the end. Fairly easy to get to on 3A, so driving isn't a problem. Plenty of parking out front. I went in and was greeted by Jim, my therapist. Typical procedure for a first time massage though I found myself feeling way more awkward than usual. He does myofasical and cranial spinal release, which he really explained in depth. A few quibbles (and these are personal things that don't take away from the massage itself). Chatty, which is something that makes relaxing difficult for me. The music cut out, actually I was fine with it being off, but he was bothered by it and kept trying to fix it. Pros were the myo and cranial release are fabulous. I usually feel a bit beat up or feel cheated if I don't feel beat up after a massage, or I still have muscles that hurt or pull. He worked his magic and I felt/feel like a new woman. That release is no joke. My shoulder feels better, my back doesn't feel tight, and I just feel amazing. Even with my medical knowledge, I still can't wrap my head around how he did it. How simple stretching and muscle pulling can make me feel loose is amazing. Overall, a good experience for me. Would return to capitalize on these same results

the way i found this place is unusual. i tried to book an appointment with my regular spa i go to…read morefor reflexology visits. when i called , my girl told me she would be closed for the next week starting tommorow. i must have sounded sad when i told her i couldn't wait that long, as i was sore from the gym. she took my information and told me she would call me back shortly; after she called a few friends that were local. she called me back 10 minutes later and told me that she had secured a 60 minute appointment for me the next day in kingston where a friend of hers worked. she provided me with the name, address , telephone #, etc. i arrived a few minutes early to my appointment and was taken in right away, no waiting. the spa looked and smelled very clean and had a lavander kind of scent in the air. the staff were very nice and i thanked them for working with my regular spa to accomodate me for a treatment. i got top notch service from my kind provider. first, she soaked my feet in a bucket of warm water that had some lavander oils added to it as well as some kind of bath salts. it was very relaxing and my feet had started feeling better already. it was then time for the reflexology. she did use very firm pressure on the different zones on the bottom of my feet but it was never once painful. i nearly started to fall asleep halfway through as i was so de-stressed. after the session, i was left feeling like a million bucks. i was kindly given bottled water and some candies on the way out the door. all around a great experience. i will return here anytime that my regular spa is unavailable.
