This same therapist was also working part-time as a bartender, and going to nursing school to become an in-home nurse. I was informed by the owner of the practice that she was not requiring any of the staff to be immunized. Since both I and my partner are immunocompromised, our medical teams advised us both that it was not safe for us to go back to this practice, so we did not. Unfortunately, there was no other in-network massage therapy practice that was accredited with my insurance company (Commonwealth Care Alliance) at that time, so we have gone for almost a year without these services. I needed an office that was both vaccinated and handicapped accessible. However, I am pleased to announce that there is now an additional accredited massage therapy facility in Stoughton that accepts Commonwealth Care Alliance! We have our first appointment with them set up for this week, and I will review them after a few visits. :) If you are concerned about vaccination status of your medical providers, you need a handicapped accessible office, and you are a CCA member, you now have another option!

The main room is bright and has a couple of comfy chairs. Marie greeted me and gave me a form to fill out. She was very pleasant. There was waterfall music playing in the background. The massage room was dimly lit as it should be and the massage table had very nice soft sheets. Marie did an excellent job giving me a massage. I felt completely relaxed when she was done. Located on the first floor of a house with pretty landscaping, Healing Hands shares floor space with a chiropractic care office. The hallway is the waiting area for Healing Hands so don't expect much in terms of luxurious surroundings. You must make an appointment as there are no "regular" hours, and walk-ins are not accepted. My regular therapist Liz is fantastic. I have been going to her since I found Healing Hands; she even provided my massages when I was pregnant. There are two massage rooms but I have only been in one, and it is relaxing. Not luxurious but simple. Prices are very good, with an hour coming in at $65. They listen and respond accordingly. Soft, medium or deep massage they all have a good style and do a great job. I personally like a deep tissue but not one that is overly painful. I am learning that if possible try and go twice a month. After all our bodies need it to stay flexible and our mind and spirit needs it to stay feeling emotionally health. Yes it's a treat but we all deserve it in todays world. Another thing I have realized is these ladies may be smaller but they don't lack strength. If you what deep they are very capable. No worries though because they'll ask if everything is comfortable. I've already grown to depend on my visits just feel better and lose the pressures from work. I can see it's not an easy job but they are always spot on with their therapy and a sweet caring smile. They prefer bookings but they'll also try and accomodate walk-in's. I think the most difficult area are the booking but No Shows. I'd suggest we all give them the respect and consideration and think of other customers too. Dealing with the public nowdays can be a problem but as far as I can tell the atmosphere is always professional the facility clean, and the thereapists friendly.
