This place is trash! Got a transmission system issues they said they fixed it (replaced oil sensor) and we picked it up a day later the check engine light came back on. So a second time we took it back and they "fixed" the problem( topped up the transmission fluid). They took a week for us to get a call back and pick up the car. One day later the light came back on. So I call for a third time to tell them what is going on a lady answers the phone being rude and cutting me off, she then puts me on the line with a manger named Steve that wants me to bring the car in again. Says he could only provide me with a rental car for 2 days. Definitely not going back to this place and I wouldn't recommend anyone going here. We had an extremely poor experience - our first in trying to buy into the Kia brand and working with Ancira. We had negotiated terms on a Kia Sorento, had the loan in place and drove across town expecting to complete the purchase, only to learn just before we walked into sign the papers that the vehicle had sustained damage and required repair work. That information was not clearly disclosed during the sales process, which was disappointing after spending significant time working through the deal. The issue was not pricing -- it was transparency. They knew this would be an issue as they didn't prep the car (not detail, not gassed up) for us to take delivery. Let me start by saying that I wish I did not have to write this. The over the phone experience was at the time, refreshing and I did not feel like they were going to take advantage of me when I came in there. However prior to going in, I was fully transparent about the deal the other dealership was giving me and if they can meet it, then I would be in, but if not then I would drive to the one in Houston and give them my business, to which they said they can match it. My husband was really reluctant and I promised the deal was good and I even brought my teenage daughter in so that she can start being an adult an learning the experience early. SO we went in. 2 hours later they had ran my credit, told me that I had amazing credit and was going to get a good rate( the Houston dealership promised .9% at 60 mo.) Well then they took my to the finance guy. In the next 30 minutes, I was told that that either my APR was 7.4 or my price had to change. And the finance guy made an unprofessional comment in front of my daughter that my husband and I could not rap our heads around the fact that this no longer felt like the same dealership we walked into. He leaves to get another manager, all for him to explain that they ran my credit and that they can not make the deal happen. The next morning I called the credit bureaus to see if they can get rid of my credit inquiry indicating that if they were honest in the beginning then I never would have signed for the approval of a credit check and they said it would have to be requested through the dealership. Well the sales guy reached out over text and was apologetic about the incident and I said that it left us walking away from them AND Houston and at the end of the day were going to search at a later date and can they please request to the credit bureaus that they rescind my husband and my inquiry and I have received no response. If your reading this, not only ask all the questions, but get everything in writing and well in advance before you approach the dealership. There is a reason they don't send contracts emailed right away or explain there dealer rebates vs. promotions. JUST DOUBLE CHECK EVERYTHING!!!!!! I won't be going back there ever!!!! This place is a total disaster and always chaotic I regret the day I purchased a vehicle from them everytime I have to use the service center. I took my car in to have the brakes & rotors replaced which was recommended the previous visit. I waited 30 min to be checked in for my scheduled appointment. Only to be told I don't need rotors they can just replace the brakes (because they didn't have the rotors in stock so why wasn't that an option the first time???) I was called to pick my car up 6 hrs later only to find out the battery is dead. I've NEVER had any signs the battery was failing before the service and guess what they told me.... I can pay $225 for a new after admitting it must have drained because it was being serviced for so long. I ALMOST purchased another vehicle from them but I'm thankful I chose another dealer 0/0 customer service!!! read more

What a terrible experience! If you get assigned to Nathan as your salesman....run! He was very snarky and rude. I asked him to appraise our vehicle so we can discuss a possible trade in. He requested I provide him the payoff amount and tell him what CarMax appraised our vehicle. I told him that providing that information at this point in the process is irrelevant and simply asked to appraise my car independent of what other folks appraised my car (fair enough right?) He became agitated and accused me of not being transparent. The appraisal took over an hour and Nathan claimed it was taking so long because I wouldn't provide information up front. Again, what does one have to do with the other? Needless to say, we left immediately after receiving the appraisal. Our decision to leave was out of pure principle that I would never buy a car from a salesman who treats their customers this way. Definitely 5 stars, I went just to know what I needed to buy a vehicle and they ask me for all the info first and before to run my credit they ask me if they can and also explain to me how much the payments will be. They believed that I can go with a brand new vehicle so I believed in them and I got approved. They also explain me all the features on the car and show me how to use it, that was the best thing besides explain to me all the guarantees the vehicle has. I extremely recommend Carlos Cesar Coss, if you need someone that can speak Spanish he would definitely help you out. I really think everyone is really good over there, but Carlos goes one step ahead for showing me how to use every single feature in the car. That was amazing because we didn't ask for it. I went to this Kia Dealership because, I was told that this Kia dealership was the best in the city of San Antonio. Well, that is basically "TRUE". I have huge praises for an employee/service agent there that took care of my vehicle when it had issues with warning lights coming on and rear shocks that were malfunctioning. I have a 2024 Kia Carnival EX and I brought it here and when I called in the first time about a few months ago regarding my Kia Carnival, I spoke to a Service Agent named "Nicole" and she was great with answering some of my questions regarding my vehicle and I was noticing that the rear shocks were going bad and she said that I should take it in to the dealership on Bandera Rd in Leon Valley, Texas and I did and since then, I have had great service with Nicole as my service advisor and she kept me in the loop or updated every day when my vehicle was there for service and was also updated with the status and what work was being done and if parts were needed and she let me know the whole way and when I would be getting my car back from being repaired or serviced. I took it there about a week ago and it was due to "Warning Lights" were all coming on at the same time and I called her that day on monday June 2nd and was having a panic attack as these warning lights came on all at the same time and I told her that I would drive it in so she can see all of the warning lights are on and that she can take pictures of them and to get them fixed. So, when I arrived at the dealership prior to closing, she was there still to help me with my concerns and she said that she was going to update me on the status of the vehicle while it was in her possession of the dealership. Nicole Marie Campo is an AWESOME SERVICE ADVISOR and there are NOT a lot of SERVICE ADVISORS out there that know their vehicles and the in's and out's of the vehicle more than Nicole. Apparently, after doing a diagnostic test, her tech person found out that the ICCU has gone bad and that it needed to be replaced. She was very helpful and she made sure that she would take very good care of my car while it's at her dealership and she would keep me updated the whole way. It's hard to find Service Advisors like her that knows all about the cars on the lot. If I can give her 100,000 Stars, I would as she's the GREATEST SERVICE ADVISOR EVER!!! And, I'll keep going to this KIA dealership from now on and I hope to be greated by Nicole every time when I need to take my vehicle in for service and/or repairs. I'm so happy that I received my vehicle back today, June 9th, 2025 is perfect working condition. read more

Bought a 2022 K5, on the way home the first day the TPMS light turned on. Went to 2-3 Discount Tire Shops around the city; each said the tires were fine. No punctures, perfect air pressure. LIGHT would not turn off. Six weeks later, made an appointment for its first OIL Change and to have the TPMS system checked out. Arrived at dealership at 8am, two hours later at 10am, I asked for status update.. "still working on it sir".... At NOON, I started to get upset and asked for my car to be pulled up. Remember, I had an appointment for this. (oil change and tpms check) I saw people come and go ALL MORNING and here I am STILL WAITING AROUND. At NOON, the older hispanic Service Technician comes out of the bay and tells me, it was a BAD VALVE..had to replace the VALVE and they finally found the issue. The very young and pleasant service advisor checked me out and I went back home. What do you think happened on the way home? THE LIGHT CAME RIGHT BACK ON AFTER DRIVING 10 MINS DOWN THE ROAD. I nearly had a medical episode how upset I got, I decided NOT to go back to the dealership because I would have lost my professionalism. I called the dealership and spoke with the Service Advisor. I asked him, does your dealership put the Oil Change Sticker on the inside top left corner of the windshield when it gets an oil change at the dealership. He responds, "yes". Um, sir. You guys forgot to put the damn sticker on the windshield. Unbelievable, its the little things; but I feel bad for not noticing that before I left. IT GETS WORSE EVERYONE: PLEASE READ!! I opened up the dealership paperwork from the service visit and read it top to bottom. The OIL CHANGE shows Parts/Labors line for line for everything that was used and replaced with a corresponding part number and cost. Under TPMS DIAGNOSIS- IT says, "RESET SENSOR"!!!!!!!!!!!! The service technician said, that after FOUR HOURS AT THE DEALERSHIP they had replaced the BAD TIRE VALVE and it wouldn't happen again. NOWHERE ON THE PAPERWORK does it say anything associated with replacing anything. It just says RESET SENSOR. I HATE HATE HATE BEING LIED TO. If the tech would have solved the actual problem, it wouldn't have turned back on 15 minutes later down the road. IF something was replaced in this issue, wouldn't it have a part number or a labor rate associated with the replacement part/time? Mhmm. THIS CAR WAS PURCHASED THREE MONTHS AGO and STILL HAS the light ON. EVEN THE LOJACK/KAHU module was not installed correctly. ALSO HAD TO GET THIS REPLACED DURING THIS VISIT. How can I trust to go back to this dealership ever again? Its only a TPMS sensor light... what if the car actually had a serious problem. How many hours would I spend at the dealership then? Oh btw, loaner vehicles are not available so I have to get a ride from someone or take a day off from work and hangout at the dealership. I brought my 2015 Kia optima for a recall, the car blew up the engine like many other Kia products, after they kept my car in there for almost two weeks, and I kept calling to find out the status of my car, and they kept telling me that they were looking into it and making excuses, at the end they told me that they were not going to fix it to come and pick up the car, when I went to pick up my car, they charged $200 dollars for so called diagnostic, I brought the car over for a recall, and not only they did not honor the recall but it end costing me money to be able to pick up my car. what a scam. these guys are the worst. do not buy a Kia products they are the worst vehicles, I have a lot of family members that had Kia's with same issues. they always find excuses for not to honor the warranties. my family, my friends and people that I know will never ever buy another Kia again. read more

I will say, it always takes A VERY LONG TIME at the services department. Even with an appointment! I recently went to get the base radio firmware upgraded with an appointment and at the time of writing this review, it's still not done (came in at 7:30am and it is currently 10:20am). Most of the time, I was there looking into their garage area where they do all the work. It took them about 2 hours before they even got into my car. Even after that, they only checked it for 5 minutes and then disappeared for another 30 minutes. I told them about the service bulletins regarding the updates and told them that I even paid for the Kia tech info website (Kia global information system) where I got the information about the services. I did ask several times about why it was taking so long since I'm not asking to change an engine or even parts. Heck, I'm not even asking for an oil change, it's just an update to the radio software via an usb stick. I know they may be busy with other cars but I did have an appointment and all these other cars (and people waiting) left way before I did. And all I wanted was software upgrade. After asking several times and speaking with 3 different people and asking for Javier (the services manager), I finally saw someone go to the computer and look stuff up. After coming here so many times, I think it is not worth the wait to get something done here. If you decide to get work done here, expect to wait many hours (at least 4 hours from my past experience). I usually come here because it was waaaaaay closer than other Kia service department. But after waiting this long for something so insignificant, I will definitely be going to a different Kia service department when I need something else taken care of. I also attached pictures of my car sitting pretty, waiting to be worked on. As well as the software usb sticks sitting on the computer, waiting for someone to come along and to be plugged into my car. My sister had to take her 2015 Optima Hybrid in because the hybrid system (still under warranty) shut down and left her stranded on the side of the road. She had her car towed there last week, on a Thursday. She called them and let them know it was coming and asked how long it would be until it was diagnosed. They told her it would be Monday or Tuesday the next week. So Monday she never heard anything. Tuesday comes around and she still doesn't hear anything so she calls and they tell her that now it won't be seen until Thursday or Friday. She proceeds to tell them that she has no car and needs to get to work. The guy just told her that everyone who brings their car there doesn't have a car. So compassionate, huh? So her car is still there just waiting around for them to find the time to work on it at their leisure. This place never keeps their word and I suspect that they are delaying because the repairs are covered under warranty so it takes longer for them to get paid for their work and they can't swindle her out of more money. This dealer is terrible, I don't know why anyone would buy a car from them or use them for service. What good is a 100,000 mile warranty if you can't get them to fix it? read more

LADIES (or anyone who is not knowledgeable about cars), DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE THAT I DID, BECAUSE I GOT JIPPED. $230 down the drain. I have a rear view camera so I have a little screen in my car. I noticed that if I drive over bumpy roads, it'll turn off and back on. This went on for about 2-3 weeks. Last Sunday, my screen stopped working completely for almost a week. The screen was pitch black and I couldn't turn anything on. I wasn't able to see the time, I couldn't connect to my bluetooth or use my radio, etc. I had a feeling that it was a wiring issue so I brought my car to Ancira Kia. They told me it would be a $95 fee to diagnose the issue. But if I decide to repair it, they would waive it. An hour later, the manager provides me with recommendations. He suggests that I replace my windshield wipers, one of my headlights, and a $795 package which includes flushing the coolant, replacing my air filter, and a bunch of other things because my car was over 60,0000 miles. If I agreed to do everything, it would've been $1,000+. He had no problem explaining to me what needed to be "fixed" on unnecessary things but didn't bother explaining what was wrong was my screen. I agreed to have my screen and my headlight fixed. That was my biggest mistake. I failed to ASK WHAT WAS WRONG WITH MY SCREEN. Another hour passes, and the manager presents me with the bill. The total ended up being $230~ to fix both the screen and my headlight. I finally asked what the issue was with my screen, and he told me that it was a hard wiring issue because the wires were lose. I immediately texted my bf - he said he could've diagnosed it, fixed it, and replaced my headlight as well. I HATE that car dealerships take advantage of women like me, because they assume we know nothing about cars. I am incredibly grateful that I have my dad and boyfriend (who are both engineers) to help maintain my car. I should've consulted with them before agreeing to the charges and asked more questions. Lesson learned. I gave Ancira Kia 2 stars because their waiting area is pretty nice and clean. They provide coffee, snacks, water, and they have wifi. Part of this bad experience was my fault, but I hope that anyone who reads this can learn from my mistake. TLDR: ASK MORE QUESTIONS. Do NOT agree to charges until you've consulted with someone who is more knowledgeable about cars. Don't waste your money and time here. read more

Make no mistake in that I really like the car, but these people LIED to me. I was adamant that I wanted to keep my tags from my trade-in, but they insisted they'd take care of the new car registration for me and kept refusing to give my old tags back. After I'd waited over a month, I asked when I could expect my new tags and was told there have been delays, to expect about six weeks after the date of purchase. Understandable. Finally the day before my temporary tag was set to expire, I let them know I'd hold them responsible for any fees I incurred from driving on expired plates, now that it had been well over two months with no plates in sight and they'd refused to give back my old ones. To absolutely NOBODY'S surprise, I received a call three hours later letting me know my plates were in. "We just got them this morning," they said. They tried arguing with me when I pointed out that this time frame was awfully convenient and coincidental, but went and rushed my butt out of there in less than five minutes when I showed up to collect the tags and paperwork so none of the customers would see me getting upset. Y'all, they had stamped the current date on the outside of the envelope, but all the paperwork inside was dated from three weeks prior and my tag renewal is dated for August. I can tolerate the fact that it took almost six hours for them to complete the sale (when I have excellent credit and we were not hemming and hawing over which car I wanted), but I'd rather these guys have been honest and said "my bad, we screwed up and forgot to call you." It took threats and them attempting to falsify documents to get new tags, and that's a disgrace. read more

Don't go here, these people are crooks. My wife and I took my 2019 Kia Sorento in to be diagnosed to see if it coud be repaired under the specifics of a class action lawsuit as of 2023 against Hyundai and Kia. My wife initially made an appointment and did her best to explain the issue with the vehicle. When I took it in, I made sure to ask very clear and concise questions and to fix the info about why our vehicle is being looked at. Not only did they not change the issue of why it's being looked at to be accurate, they are using the terminology under which it was entered to charge me for a diagnostic. They neglected to inform me that even if the diagnostic revealed that it was oil consumption, that they wouldn't be able to help me because we need a letter from Kia Corporate in order to address that issue. The information given to me after asking the very clear and concise question "Will this issue be covered if the diagnostics reveal it to be the issue?" they replied "Yes." I then proceeded to ask "And if it's not covered?" they replied, "It would be a diagnostic fee of $179." They neglected to inform me that my issues of oil consumption and engine knocking were two seperate diagnosing issues at the time of checking in even though I let them know that I thought they could be caused by the same issue. When the advisor informed me that the price would be $179 if it wasn't covered I thought it to be fair. I now come to find out they not only tricked me into signing a document that stated the 2 issues were seperte matter and I would actually owe $358 if it wasn't covered, they tricked me into checking it in in the first place because I would've never checked it in if they told me my they wouldn't have been able to help me with my issue anyways if I didn't have a letter from Kia Corporate. They intentionally led me astray to steal money from me and when I let them know this, they said "Well you signed the document so there's nothing we can do." They "kindly" offered to knock off one of the diagnostic fees but are still demanding the other fee even though it was garnered with misleading information. Key take away, don't trust these people. They are not people of their word and they won't blink twice lying to your face. read more

I did my research and I read that Ancira KIA is the dealer you want to see. That was 100% correct. Every step of the process the Ancira team treated me like a Rockstar. I got the car I wanted at the payment I wanted and had zero hassles. The entire experience was top notch and I couldn't be happier with my decision to go with Ancira. In 5 trips to address service issues with my K-900 I remain stunned by the lack of timeliness and competence. For an oil change I sat in the poorly equipped waiting room 4 hours and then asked about the delay. It was not in the service bay, and they brought the car to me and agreed I should reschedule. Another, leather on the driver's seat is wearing, with less than 15,000 miles and they suggested that I get a towel to wrap around my seat. Kia manufactures a fine automobile, however the North American region in California, and the Ancira family of dealers in San Antonio have no willingness to service the customer after the sale. read more

I was driving thru Texas coming home (North Houston) for Christmas, when my car died about 300 miles from home. I called one KIA dealership and they told me "without an appointment, they can't help me" so I called Ancira and spoke with Odie in the Service department. He did everything he could to help me get back on the road. I'm so grateful to Odie and the staff who worked on my vehicle to get me back on the road, don't want to call it a Christmas miracle, but it certainly feels like it to me at this point. If I could leave 0 stars I would. I had a horrible experience with Ancira Kia. I highly recommend more communication on Ancira's end. I was told my service would take 1-2 business days and it took 3 weeks. I consistently called for updates and they never had any until about 3 days before my car was ready. This made is incredibly difficult to coordinate my need for a rental car. Additionally, my warranty said the service should have taken 1-2 business days and they only paid for 1-2 days of labor. I feel it was wrong or improperly communicated to me as to why I had to pay the remaining amount when it was Ancira's fault for taking so long. Lastly, my car was done on a Friday but no one called me to inform me so I had to pay for 3 additional days of a rental car that I did not need and had to pick up my car on a Monday. read more

READ BEFORE BUYING FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!! My husband and I are purchasing a new telluride. We went in on 5/5/22 and were told they had one matching our request coming any day. The next day, our sales rep texted and said it was there with pictures. I went to look at it and finalize everything. I was handed a payment estimate sheet that said it would be around $980 a month with 0 down, i told them that was not right and asked the APR. I was told it was based on the lowest apr they have, 5%, which i was approved for. We'd already calculated what the payment should be (with taxes, etc, using a payment calculator on google) and it SHOULD have been right at $800. He came back with an updated payment that was $873 with 0 down (see photo). I took a picture of it to run by my husband and our Toyota dealership who we have used for years and trust fully. On my way home I sent it to our Toyota rep who found an additional $5,000 they added into the payment amount on the backend. The initial payment I was shown had around $10k additional added in. This is ON TOP OF the $8900 "market adjustment". I was sent an email to review my pleasant experience, to which I responded with the issue found and that we are no longer interested. The sales rep texted shortly afterward (see screenshots) he admitted to the $5k extra, and gave the run around on how it was an accident, then proceeded to tell me the payment estimate wasn't actually based on my 5% apr (which he confirmed it was 2 different times in the dealership). They had plenty of excuses which we did not believe. We are reasonable, easy going people who understand the mark up in todays vehicle market. We were 100% set on purchasing this vehicle from Ancira WITH the markup. However, we refuse to work with a dealership who tries to pull a fast one for an extra buck (or 5,000 at that!). We are so thankful we did our research before hand, and for a TRUSTED dealership who gave us the low down on what Ancira was doing. I would advise anyone who is considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealership to question everything and calculate the payments yourself! We will be taking our business elsewhere. read more

If ZERO was available.... So, I scheduled an appointment to have my granddaughter's 2014 Kia Sportage checked out before she leaves for college. My appointment was 8:00 am (hoping to get in and out) with Ian. I arrived a little early. I was checked in and told Ian would be with me shortly. I sat and waited. Had my laptop so began to work. 9:00 am comes and goes. Other people come and go. 10:00 am, still no Ian. I ask what's up with my vehicle. Finally, he shows up. Says he will go check on it and be back. (This is secret code for nothing is happening with your car.) Comes back again and says you are very late on your oil change. Starts to go down this LONNNG list of repairs. I don't need an oil change. It was done two weeks ago. Ian says "OH, is that an old sticker?" (Secret code for no one actually checked your oil during the 2+ hour checking out your car.) I ask Ian, were any of these items done the last time I had the car here? He says I did not see that. (secret code for I never checked for history in the system.) I agreed to a couple of repairs Transmission Flush $296 and Brake Flush $115) and the wait continues. It is now approaching 1:00 pm (Been here 5 hours for a max 2-hour job) The car is ready. Ian says let me knock something off this $700 repair! The Transmission flush is now over $400! Comes back with $20 off. I said good thing I have a $75 coupon. Ian says let me add this. Unfortunately, when I review the invoice, the coupon is not listed. But at this point, I am struggling to be nice and get out! I left and took the car to another repair place. I did not trust or believe anything Ancira Kia said or did. I don't mind paying for work that I can believe in. I am trusting someone with my family's safety and others on the road. Ancira Kia failed! NEVER, EVAH, EVAH going back! Update: I took the car to Discount Tires. I did purchase tires and asked about the URGENT alignment I needed per Ancira Kia. I was told the car was not out of alignment. The tires were bad. Saved the $129+ Ancira wanted to charge me. read more
