Once again they've done an amazing job with a huge order. I had about 120 pieces and they did a great job with the embroidery and heat press. They kept me updated on everything from the varying color choices of the thread for the embroidery on all the different objects to the size of the heat print. They have a great selection of Richardson hats as well, and if they don't have it they can order whatever color you want. I have been using And Sew On for 2 years now for all my embroidery items. I used it for doing aprons for my BBQ team in the Corps of Cadets and they did a great job. The embroidery looked great, was perfectly aligned and was all at a reasonable price. the design I gave them was slightly complicated but they managed to make it look great on print and I couldn't have been more happy. I know a lot of the other comments say the customer service is bad, that has not been my experience. OFF CENTERED and NO APOLOGIES or discounts for it. I came to pick up my order on the day it was promised to be ready and it still wasn't done. No big deal. She said come back in an hour. When I came back to get it, it was off centered just enough to notice but not enough to totally ruin it. I pointed it out and the man behind the counter took out a measuring tape and with it facing him (so I couldn't see it), says "It looks dead center to me". I ask him to turn it around for me and he hesitated lol. I pointed out the very obvious differences to which he replied "Well it's hard to get that completely centered in those hoops. That'll be $17." CHA-CHING $ pay up. No apologies. No discount for the shoddy work. There were stray threads I had to go home and trim myself. It was just an all around feeling of "We don't give a d@^^ ." Find some nice lady who does this from their home and give your business to someone who truly appreciates it. read more

My daughter who does a lot of embroidery purchases tried this company and they mad her so uncomfortable and were rude to her both on phone and in person. They did not provide a proof for approval. The size was too big and lower on the surface than asked. The embroidery was snagged. It took over a week for monogram and they did not call when complete. This man was ruthless and rude. They need to hire professional staff that can manage customer nicely and on time. You are in town with 100s of kind students that could manage clientele better. Too bad no stars isn't an option. Literally the worst customer experience I've ever received in my life. I had a blank stocking embroidered with an "A" on it at And Sew On about a year and a half ago for my son. So after having my daughter a few months ago, I needed to have her stocking embroidered as well. It just so happened I needed another "A" exactly like the first one I had done. When I dropped the second one off (11/28/18), they asked me to leave the original one I had done a year and a half ago so they could match it. They had me prepay for the embroidery, which I didn't quite agree with but I did it anyway. It was ready on December 11th (two weeks later) while I was out of town. I told the girl who took my order that I would not be back to pick it up until closer to Christmas. Fast forward to today (12/20/18) I go in to pick it up and it's completely unacceptable. The letters don't even look like the same font (even though the man working behind the counter INSISTED that it was), the letter isn't centered, and you can see the fabric through the stitching. I ended up going back inside to show them the mistakes made, and the man behind the counter continued to argue with me about it being ruined. He told me there was absolutely nothing that could be done to fix it, and made it seem like it was my fault that the stocking did not match. He said "it should have been expected that it would look different, it's a different machine and a different operator." I replied "no, I expected it to look like the original one I had done HERE. That's why I left it here to begin with." And he literally looked at me and didn't have a word to say. I would understand the crappy job that was done if it was a rush order, but they had two weeks to complete it. Technically longer than that because I told them I would not be back until closer to Christmas. I was not offered a refund OR compensation for my now ruined stocking. So now I'm stuck with a ruined stocking 4 days before Christmas . I will NEVER shop here again, nor recommend this place to any friends. Today me and my best friend who came in from Waco saw this shop in the shopping strip. It looks very interesting so we decided to go in and browse. While we were in there looking at the really cute items another lady came in to have some things personalized. When she asked how much it would cost the lady behind the counter with the short blonde hair sad that will be $20 each. The customer then took a sharp breath in I guess she thought it was a little too much. Then the lady with the short blonde hair says Extremely Loud while I've got a $3,000 machine I've got to pay for! That did it for me I walked straight for the front door and I'll never go in there again shop at your own risk! read more

I got terrible service. They made a mistake on my order, told me I was wrong until I showed written evidence to the contrary. Then they lost the ribbon I needed to undo their mistake so I had to go buy some more. After all this, I got no discount and a rude attitude. I don't understand how this place stays in business being so rude to customers. If you need senior overalls, go somewhere else. It took 4 weeks to get them and they're not great, even if you ignore the mistake. read more

Last year we got a onesie embroidered for our daughter and LOVED it. This year, we went back for the same thing for our daughter and son. The front desk girl said that the design would work best with screen printing. I wasn't sold on that but that's what she wrote down on the order form. I got my onesies and HATED them. They look cheap and awful. When I tried to return them, the owner simply said 'these are custom, what would I be able to do with them?' Just as much as I was since they look like trash. She didn't offer any type of trade for them or any type of customer service. If you want quality products to the specs that YOU want them, and good customer service that is more about you as the customer than them as the business, I do not recommend this business. I am now stuck with two hideous, cheap looking screen printed onesies (which when we showed them to another embroidery business, she pointed out that it wasn't even done evenly and a cheap quality vinyl was used) and out $40. read more

If you are looking for quality service that comes with good customer service, please find another small business to support. On the owners own admission, it was not a quality embroidery job. However she refused to make it better without me paying an additional amount for her to undo the work and redo it. Wow!! Even her part time employee agreed and admitted it was a terrible job and would have suggested to redo the stitching. It's loose, uneven, and already coming undone. When I asked her if this is her quality work, she said it was compared to what was already on the bag. ummmm....ok. So you don't believe in making sure your brand is represented by quality...got it! My daughter was given a GUND Duckens Silly Stripes Duck Huggybuddy personalized with her name from this shop as a gift. When she started a Mothers Day Out program over a year later we decided a back-up was needed to leave there. I live out of town and called the shop to see if they still had it as the duck itself had been discontinued by GUND and was not available any where online any more. They still had some and I was able to order it, have it personalized exactly like her original gift and have it shipped to me. The salesperson I spoke with was helpful when I described the item and even texted me a picture of it to ensure we were talking about the same item. We are so glad we were able to get the exact lovey for her to leave at MDO for her naps and so I never forget to bring it. read more

One star because zero is not an option. Our daughter ordered 40 monogram decals. She had to wait about 45 minutes when she arrived to pick them up at the promised time. I think that's because they spent 45 minutes making them. They were terrible. The quality was absolutely cartoonish. Unfortunately, our daughter didn't have the experience or judgment to know better. We saw the decals a few days later and tried to return them. The owner said the policy is no returns on custom orders. News flash... they're monograms! Of course they're custom! We contacted a REPUTABLE graphics designer in Salt Lake City. We replaced the entire order and paid about 40% less. The quality was outstanding. We attempted to dispute the credit card charge, but eventually lost in the end simply because our daughter walked out the door with the decals. We had to eat the $216.00, but at least we still have our integrity. Exceedingly poor quality product. Non-existent customer service. Zero integrity. Simply taking advantage of a bunch of college students. Certainly NOT the Aggie way. And Sew On should be ashamed of themselves! read more

My elderly aunt took a sweater in today be embroidered for her church picture day. We just moved her to College Station from MO because her husband of 56 years passed away. My aunt thought the date she needed to send the picture to her church home in MO was the 20th but turns out it is the 17th. We went into And Sew On the young lady was helpful but the other lady at the counter was rude. We left I called and a man answered the phone I explained to him that my aunt had the dates confused we just moved her here because her husband passed and her sister passed the day before. I asked if there was any way to pay a rush fee to get it ready a day early. His response was appalling! He stated everyone has a story and needs it a day earlier. There is no rush fee you can pay. We are over loaded on our orders. I hope no one experiences this level of customer service. All he had to say was we understand but unfortunately we will not be able to accommodate your request. I would advise people to go anywhere but here! read more

Customer service left a lot to be desired... it started when I went in and dropped off the item for my wife: the lady wasn't "pleasant" as you would expect a business to be (she was just direct and short with me; mmmkay... moving on)... and then when I decided to check on my wife's item a month later (because I am patient and not expecting a rush), a different lady rather curtly informed me that they DO NOT notify when items are completed, that I am to pay attention to the date printed on the ticket given to me at drop off. Okay then. We are not talking about dry cleaning... we are talking about something they plan to have for WEEKS before completion... so it seems to me that if they can text me for approval to start work, then they can just as easily text me the moment it is done. So is a customer to assume they just do everything "last minute" and to never hope they will ever be ahead of schedule and will notify you... or more: 2 weeks past completion, perhaps they could think about dropping a text wondering why it hasn't been picked up? I assume they like business and money. Also, when I was given the ticket, I don't recall the first lady ever so kindly pointing that fact out to me, and to not expect a call. That aside, because perhaps my memory is wrong: I would have given them 3 stars (-2 for just the snippy attitude from both ladies coming and going) but then I got the item and it was half an inch smaller than promised and some of the stitching was up/loose (minus another star). Sigh. That is how I feel: *sigh*. I'll find someone else to do the work next time. read more

I really hate to write a poor review, especially for a small business in Aggieland. However, I was so thoroughly unimpressed, and even disrespected, I would certainly want to know about it if I were trying to find a good place in CS. Because this is a smaller shop, they are the fastest turn around time in town for one piece, however, in the future I will absolutely be happy to wait two weeks for Monograms & More to do it instead (with whom I have found impeccable service and quality). The young ladies who work the front counter are typical of the Me generation. Again, I sure hate to speak negatively, but they behave as though you have bothered them by coming in, not as though they are happy to help. I brought in a piece of silk to have embroidered for a blanket. Upon pick up, the monogram was stitched going the opposite direction, as though it was a pillow. When I returned it I received a half-hearted apology. I inquired as to how quickly it could be corrected as I had intentionally set aside that weekend to turn the monogram silk into a blanket for delivery as a gift to a friend in Houston on Tuesday morning. The lady said the soonest it could be corrected was Monday because 'they were about to close.' Again, no reassuring understanding of the inconvenience, just a rather brash statement that the best they could do was Monday. This was not too bad of a correction time given it was a weekend, but the service in interaction was unimpressive, and it effectively meant that the blanket would be given more than a week later as I would have to wait until the next weekend to take the time to actually sew the blanket. She also did not offer to replace the silk fabric. Upon pick up on Monday, I asked if I could speak to the manager about my experience. She had left for the day. Rather than being offered a call from the manager, I had to ask for her phone number. The 'me generation' young lady inquired as to what I would be asking of the manager, to which I said I'd like to discuss being reimbursed for the silk and let her know I had had a bad experience. The young lady began pushing back, not apologizing or trying to understand, and asked the original lady who took my order whether the owner had helped with my project. The other 'me generation' young lady (Brandy?) responded the manager had in fact helped and they both were confused with why I had a problem because they pinned it right in front of me and they were sure it was correct (she had not in fact pinned/asked me to review a pinning). I was and still am surprised to have had two young women push back on me as a customer, and even flat out tell me I was wrong-- which is incorrect, as I certainly know I was making a blanket and not a pillow. Throughout this process I received only one half-apology, and quite a bit of push back. I was given very poor service, I was disrespected, the item was not done correctly, and the cost was twice that of Monograms & More ($20 vs. $10), and the ultimate delivery to my friend was longer than if I had gone to Monograms & More in the first place and waited two weeks for completion. I will not be returning, and I encourage that you not as well. read more

I went in the store a month and a half ago and there was an older lady that was super sweet answered any questions we had. I ordered a shirt with my monogram on the pocket the lady told me that it would take a week to get in. I called after 2 weeks because i had not heard anything back and the lady said it had been on back order. She apologized for the wait again was super sweet. It has been a month and a half. I called back this morning and i got a middle aged woman and she was just very rude when i had asked her if my package came in " we dont call" "the ticket says this date" when i explained to her that the lady before had said a week she was rude, she went and checked the back asked for my name and item twice. Then she proceeds to tell me that my color shirt was not available anymore and that they called. They did not call me nor did they ever try again. I will probably never go back there because of the lady i spoke to today. read more

Bottom line up front: This business did not complete the work they agreed to do within the agreed upon timeframe, in spite of plenty of lead time and multiple progress checks, then charged me full price for an incomplete product. On August 14 I visited And Sew On to place an order for letters to be sewn on to my daughter's Senior Overalls and paid a deposit for the project. I had purchased all materials required for the project and delivered them to And Sew On, along with the proper order form on that day. At that time, I communicated that I needed them done by September 15th and was told that the project would be completed before then. An employee contacted me the following week to request additional material, which I purchased and delivered the same day. I did not hear from the business after that, so I called the store on September 6th for a progress check (9 days remaining until the product was needed). I was told that my order was 4th in line, so I asked what that meant and, if by that, they had an estimated date of completion to which the answer was "no". Five days later, I called again and was told that it was then 3rd in line. I asked if the job would be done by September 15th as we had originally agreed to, to which the answer was "no". I asked to speak to the manager/owner, whose depth of concern was to repeatedly state that she could not guarantee a completion date. I asked the manager for constructive options to resolve the impending timeline failure. Her suggestions were to wait past the deadline for the completed product or pick up the materials in the incomplete state to allow someone else to finish the work in time. I chose the latter. When I arrived to pick up the materials, the job was approximately 30% complete, but the manager told me that I would have to pay the remaining project balance in order to take the materials that I had previously purchased and provided for the project. In spite of my objections to paying full price for an incomplete product, the manager refused to return my materials until the full project balance was paid. I offered to pay an amount that represented the work that was done on the project, and noted that I was going to have to pay someone else for the work to get the job done within the following 4 days. She insisted that it "wasn't her problem" and that this store's policy is to charge the agreed upon amount, whether or not the work is completed. The store and the store's manager put me in a position where they extorted money for services not provided by refusing to return the materials that I had provided for the project. In order for my daughter to have the item in time for her event, I had no choice other than to pay nearly $115 for a product that was only 30% done. I am sharing this review so that others will know ahead of time how unethical and unprofessional the management of And Sew On are in their business practices so that others may be able to avoid being taken advantage of in the same way. I informed her that I would be posting my opinion of her unprofessional behavior and she was not at all concerned she encouraged me to do so. I told her that she already had several bad reviews on the web and she should do something to correct that and she said that it did not matter. Appalling!! read more

I have been ordering infant blankets for that past 4 years for the babies in our family. I called the other day and I was told they no longer embroider the blanket I requested. I asked if they had any recommendation on what to do or who to go to that could do the design and she simply said no. I asked if I found the blanket if they could do the sticking for me and again all I got was a simple no. She then mentioned that she does carry the blanket but they will not do the embroidery anymore because the lady who did it in their shop is not there currently. I explained that these blankets are very sentimental and mean a lot to our family and asked if there was any way they could do a last time order, again no. At no point during our conversation was she concerned or offer anything but a no and finally hang up. I regret ever giving them my business even since I've moved out of College Station. This customer service was a horrible experience. If there is a way that this could be done but the person is not available I feel it would be worth the effort to have another associate learn now to use the machine in the way needed. There would have been a 5 blanket order and apparently it was not worth her time to even think about the possibility of helping me out. I will no longer send referrals and I will make sure the ones that I have sent are aware of the lack of customer service they provide. read more
