Today 9:/24/25 my daughter was scheduled for dental cleaning . we long story short the older lady…read morereceptionist behind the counter was super rude and told me my daughter couldn't be seen because we was late getting the paperwork done prior to her appt pretty much . now remind you I was on the very last sheet of paper of there forms to sign and she proceeded to tell me everything checked out well with her insurance becouse this was also not only her first visit ever visiting there office as well for a dental cleaning possisble fill ins . my daughter is 13 and of course we had to check out of school early for her appt and we did get there right on time we wasn't late but 5 minutes of our scheduled appt and I have to drive about 15 miles to apt and it was a raining yucky day with weather condition . fact is my daughter didn't get to be seen for cleaning for the lady being so petty about paperwork not being finished when she called me up to approach me infront of the entire waiting room full of people to ask myself the parent of Emily not even the patient if you are following me to ask when I could pay a old past due bill from when I had been in there office back 10 yrs ago and the amount $ 56 yall !! Today I left work early and showed up 10 minutes before my 6 month cleaning and was told I would have to reschedule since I did not confirm my appointment. Cancelling an appointment I've had for 6 months because I did not click confirm on the single email that was sent out is unacceptable. I didn't open the email because the appointment was already on my calendar and I did not require a reminder. I understand no-shows cost you money, but transferring that cost to those of us who keep our appointments is not the answer. My family and I will not be returning. I would urge you to reconsider this policy.

I don't have another $2900 and am stressing out. I will not use Aspen anymore because I can't trust them. I could not eat solid food for a month, and had a knot on my jaw and swollen up. Also, the doctor left a training assistant fit a temporary bridge. I've had 6 surgeries with Dr Michael Locke within the past year . I had two sinus lifts , two bone grafts , and four implant studs on right side , and four implant studs on left side . I am currently entering my 6 month healing for my last four implants that was placed yesterday . Every surgery went well and just like he told me . He has great bedside manners and very family oriented. He makes me and my family feel like we are right at home . As other reviews have said, he runs behind , but I do not want a surgeon that rushes through my surgery and I don't expect him to rush through anyone else. I respect that . He has always took time to explain things where myself and my family can understand everything about diagnosis and prognosis . He does not speak in terms that only medical professionals understand . If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I had been a patient at…read morethis office for years, so this experience was incredibly disappointing. My routine cleaning had been scheduled for nearly a year. Then, two days before my appointment, they called to tell me they no longer accepted my insurance. What makes it even more frustrating is that I had already received a letter from my insurance company stating this office would become out of network in late August. When I politely mentioned the letter because I was trying to understand the discrepancy, the receptionist (I believe her name was Britton or Brittany) responded in an incredibly rude, condescending tone: "No. We stopped accepting Aetna July 1st." There was no explanation, no apology, and no effort to be helpful. To make matters worse, they didn't notify me until July 20th, despite having my appointment scheduled for the entire year, and even having me confirm it beforehand. They had plenty of opportunities to let me know so I could find another provider instead of waiting until the last minute. Since they no longer accepted my insurance, I was told a routine cleaning would cost over $200 out of pocket. While I understand offices can choose which insurance plans they accept, it's hard not to question why long-time patients weren't informed much sooner. Waiting until the last minute left me with the choice of paying hundreds of dollars or scrambling to find another dentist. To be clear, I understood that once they stopped accepting my insurance, I was going to find another dentist anyway. What earned this review wasn't that decision, it was how they handled it. The poor communication, the last-minute notice, and the rude way I was spoken to turned what could have been an understandable business change into a terrible patient experience. It certainly left me wondering whether the decision to stop accepting my insurance earlier than expected benefited the office financially. After years of being a patient, I expected much better.
