I have never been treated so well at a dentist. I expressed my fears right away, and they made me feel so welcomed. I felt as if I could actually trust what they were saying, and they were not just speaking words. The rates were within my budget. I had all 4-5 teeth pulled on the same day and I felt no pain what so ever. They made sure we took small breaks in between. My flipper was ready in time for the wedding and it was PERFECT. I never had to to have it re-fitted, or any adjustments. This was almost 10 years ago and its still in perfect condition and I wear it EVERYDAY. I am in need of immediate dental work once again and I'll be calling them and hopefully they'll be able to help.

Dr. Bennet gets to know his patients so that he can recommend the best course of action. It helps that he is calming and that the hygienists (thanks Jenny!) and dental assistant (Beth!) at Bennet Family Dental explain what to expect. Each time I try to find a dentist closer to where I live, I have had negative experiences, so we travel the distance so we can see someone who we trust.

Don't even get me started on even trying to get an appointment at this place. I had a "cleaning" there and it lasted maybe 10 minutes. I hadn't had my teeth cleaned in about 6 years so I knew it was long overdue. They might as well just took a dry paint brush to my tarter and sent me home with a ziplock baggy of the world's lowest quality dental care items. I got a second cleaning done at another dental office about 6 months later and the first thing they said to me was "Who cleaned your teeth!?" I told them CiNcYsMiLeS and they said "wow, they did an awful job." Took the other dentist office 30 minutes alone just get the tartar out of my mouth. They treated the inside of my mouth like a Michelangelo sculpture compared to CiNcYsMiLeS. Let me also mention, I unfortunately had to get 4 fillings in my teeth due to onset cavities. If you couldn't guess it, 3 out of the 4 fillings fell right out all within a week. Regrettably I let them replace them, 2 fell out again. This place doesn't even know how to put in a dang filling in ya'll. This place is negligent and dangerous. Cincinnati doesn't smile because of them, that's for damn sure. I don't care if you have Medicare/Medicaid or even if your insurance was notarized by some homeless dude, stay away from this place.

The man is about as cold and difficult to talk to as one can imagine. I tried to talk to him about several issues that I'm having, including an autoimmune disorder, and he acted he couldn't care less and gave me no advice whatsoever. More disturbing are his offices, which are filthy. There was an off putting odor in the exam room. The equipment is dirty. The chairs are old and worn, and the entire place is dingy. There's also no privacy, as you are seated right next to another patient. I don't know about you, but I don't feel comfortable discussing my medical issues in front of another strangers.

He did not hurt me during my procedure (crown, pulled tooth) which seems to have gone ok.

By now she has waited over 3 weeks for this appointment she cannot wait any longer. My daughter took her to the appointment, when they asked how much the cost would be for the procedure today, they were told anywhere from $700 to $1300. My daughter asked to get a more accurate number she was told not until after the appointment, then she insisted which the receptionist went to find out and came back with the lower end, around $700 or she could go to UC that they were in network. My Mom said she had a bad experience at UC with a Dental student who had worked on mouth and would not go back. The receptionist response was "well Dr. Harper teaches those students" which this threw my mom into a panic attack, which my daughter had to calm her down and reassure her that everything would be fine. That receptionist shouldn't have said anything. My daughter said the receptionist told them that they should have known to call the insurance number on the back of card to find out who was in network. At one point my mom and daughter were told that this office accepts Dental Max but not if it's through Medicare. I know this has nothing to do with the Doctor himself, but if he surrounds himself with foolish rude people (aka his staff) it makes you wonder if he is the same way. If he thinks their work ethics are good, then what that say about him? Please go somewhere else.

He and his staff made me extremely uncomfortable. When I expressed my concern, the dentist became rude and mean in a very patronizing way because I spoke up about it. On a subsequent visit, I arrived a few minutes late wearing a boot because my leg was injured, and the escalator wasn't working that morning in the building his office is located. When I walked in, he gruffly told me to sit down and open my mouth, then jabbed me hard with a needle with no warning to numb my teeth, in what I believed was retaliation, after I politely requested his staff to stop violating my privacy. In prior visits, he informed me what he was going to do. After treating me disrespectfully, he then rudely lectured me on being a few minutes late, that one occasion, like I was a child and not a grown woman, never acknowledging the accessibility issues in his building that morning. His assistant took pictures of my teeth with a polaroid camera and X-rays at my first visit, but later claimed at my second visit, that they delayed that they didn't take pictures or couldn't locate them for my follow- up visit and took the same pictures again. I still wonder to this day, considering how violative they were of my privacy, what they did with the first set of pictures that I absolutely know they took. I should've never returned after that, considering how odd that my pictures disappeared. The first thing the lady did was take pictures of those teeth. I have always had bright white teeth; yet after multiple visits there, I noticed little nicks and stains in my teeth that were not there before I went. Be would sand teeth that he was not working on. I never felt comfortable with that, as I've never had a dentist do that before, which might explain the nicks. That was also the only time in my life where a hygienist cleaned my teeth and the dentist did not come in to check her work on my teeth after she finished. Is that even legal? The dentist also told me about a few of other patients that I had no idea were his patients, before he told me, violating their privacy too. He also repeatedly questioned me about my prior dentists, asking questions that I didn't believe was his business to ask. Ultimately, he became really mean and condescending at my last visit, in a scary way; his personality changed in such a bad way after I requested his office to respect my privacy, that I never went back. That was by far the worst most bizarre dental experience in my life.
