I won't be back. A friend referred Dental BLU when my permanent retainer broke. They were really lovely and got me in to glue my retainer back in - I was in and out of the office in about an hour. Unfortunately, their "fix" only lasted for about 24 hours. When I called and asked for a refund given that I was now on vacation needed to find someone else to fix it, they took several days to get back to me and offered to refund less than a third of what I paid. After I pushed back and about three weeks of calls, they agreed to fully refund the cost of the repair, but refused to refund or give me office credit for the $80 they charged for my exam (which consisted of them taking pictures of my broken retainer before they glued it back on). It's just not worth it, find dentists that will stand behind their work.

I went to Wright dental because of my insurance. I left a doctor that was out of network that I…read morereally liked and had fair prices. I had to have a bridge replaced. The office/ billing person took a long amount of time to run my insurance and she called them with questions. She came back with a price for my portion of the procedure. I had to pay this price in full before it could be started. I also asked that they get the X-ray from my other dentist since I had all ready paid for them, when I made the appointment. The dental assistant said they did not get my xrays , but that they would not charge me for them. The temporary crown was not comfortable and I had more pain with the temporary than I did with the loose bridge. I felt as if they rushed the temporary since it was a holiday weekend. Today I received a bill for 128 more dollars. No list of charges just a PAY NOW bill. I noticed when looking on my insurance that the out of network doctor s prices were covered in full. So looks like my visits and my family will gravitate to the dentist with reasonable prices and a honor when giving pricing for procedures. I have had other procedures at my other dentist and I have never been billed more. So your 128.00 bill cost you much more since my spouse needs a crown.

I thought that was high, but I wasn't overly concerned. Well, a few weeks later, I get a bill for an additional $120. Again, for a ROUTINE dental visit. Come to find out they are NOT covered by my insurance. Their excuse was that they "take" my insurance, but they haven't been in-network for 4 years. WHY did you not say that when I called? You KNOW that's what people mean when they ask if you take their insurance. My insurance company lists their dentist as in network, but apparently it's at another location and Herald Family told me they've "been trying" to get it taken down. I'm sorry, you've been out of network for four years, and you can't get them to remove you from the website? What a lousy excuse. I also had to wait 30 minutes to see a dentist after my cleaning was done because the dentist I was supposed to see was at lunch. Don't schedule appointments at lunch time if you can't see your patients. Stay so far away!

I would highly recommend him and any of the staff working there. Recently, my husband went after years of knowing he needed to. I talked the place up because I was confident he'd have a great experience and, like many people, he isn't a fan of the dentist and due to various reasons, he needed a lot of dental work. Dr. Frew made sure she humiliated, belittled, and excoriated him, even noting that her dental schooling was expensive when he noted finances were one reason he hadn't come in sooner. I notified the office after we got home and the office manager called me. She said she'd talk about it with Dr. Herald. Husband went in for an appointment with Dr. Herald and he seemed to have no clue or, if he did, he didn't see to care. He left without getting anything done and will not go back. I'm beyond disappointed. I'd recommend Dr. Herald, but not Dr. Frew.

They're taking all the precautions with the pandemic and just overall gave me a great experience. They came out to take my temp beforehand and also sent me a covid questionnaire to ensure that I was taking all of the precautions and keeping the staff there safe as well. Malia, my hygeniest, was so nice and knowledgeable. She is definitely one I would want to work on my teeth every time I go in. I would definitely recommend Dr. Gold! She's very friendly and she knows how to make a patient feel like they have really gotten somewhere by taking care of their own teeth in between visits. Kristin at the front desk was very friendly and understanding of my unique situation when it comes to my address and my travelling throughout the US for work. Looking forward to going back in March. The staff is very pleasant over the phone when scheduling. And they're very kind and patient in person. The hygienist and Dr. Gold both took their time and were very thorough making sure any questions I had were answered. The office is clean, modern and very comfortable. Went to this office when it first opened in the morning was 6th inline. So we took our seat and…read morewaited. 10 more people came after us. Everybody in front us gets called back so I think we're next nope. I keep see everybody else get called question them to make sure we weren't missed. Tells me we should be next. So sit back down 2 more people get called. By this time there's my son and one other younger lady that walks in she tells the lady see has a UTI. They call the next patient back guess what it's the lady not my son. I'm pissed by this time and ask to talk to the manger. They tell me he's not there. They give me a number to call. It's a number to women it doesn't even work for St Elizabeth. They then proceed to call another person back. At this time I demand to see a office manger. They then try to tell they took the other patients before us because they had chest pain. I was like they last 15 patients had chest pain. They straight lied to my face. I've been to the doctor with chest pain and they don't let you sit in the waiting area for hour before being seen. They check you vitals right away and see if need to call a ambulance. Plus this is a urgent care not a emergency room. Then it hits me my son is the only black patient. I a white mom so at first I didn't realize what was happening. By this point I'm crying because I just realize what has happened to my child.
