They repeatedly violated my HIPPA rights. The dentist and his assistants repeatedly asked me personal, prying questions that had absolutely nothing to do with the work he was doing on my teeth. He and his staff made me extremely uncomfortable. When I expressed my concern, the dentist became rude and mean in a very patronizing way because I spoke up about it. On a subsequent visit, I arrived a few minutes late wearing a boot because my leg was injured, and the escalator wasn't working that morning in the building his office is located. When I walked in, he gruffly told me to sit down and open my mouth, then jabbed me hard with a needle with no warning to numb my teeth, in what I believed was retaliation, after I politely requested his staff to stop violating my privacy. In prior visits, he informed me what he was going to do. After treating me disrespectfully, he then rudely lectured me on being a few minutes late, that one occasion, like I was a child and not a grown woman, never acknowledging the accessibility issues in his building that morning. His assistant took pictures of my teeth with a polaroid camera and X-rays at my first visit, but later claimed at my second visit, that they delayed that they didn't take pictures or couldn't locate them for my follow- up visit and took the same pictures again. I still wonder to this day, considering how violative they were of my privacy, what they did with the first set of pictures that I absolutely know they took. I should've never returned after that, considering how odd that my pictures disappeared. The first thing the lady did was take pictures of those teeth. I have always had bright white teeth; yet after multiple visits there, I noticed little nicks and stains in my teeth that were not there before I went. Be would sand teeth that he was not working on. I never felt comfortable with that, as I've never had a dentist do that before, which might explain the nicks. That was also the only time in my life where a hygienist cleaned my teeth and the dentist did not come in to check her work on my teeth after she finished. Is that even legal? The dentist also told me about a few of other patients that I had no idea were his patients, before he told me, violating their privacy too. He also repeatedly questioned me about my prior dentists, asking questions that I didn't believe was his business to ask. Ultimately, he became really mean and condescending at my last visit, in a scary way; his personality changed in such a bad way after I requested his office to respect my privacy, that I never went back. That was by far the worst most bizarre dental experience in my life. read more

I ADORE this office! I am not one who enjoys going to the dentist, and I don't have the most pleasant dental history... but everyone at Dr. Meyer's office was more than warm, welcoming, and helpful. Dr. Meyer himself has a sparkling personality and is very personable. He's the only dentist who has "yelled" at me over my problem teeth, but the "tsk-tsk" in his voice was coupled with an "and this is how we're going to fix it." He is very honest and informative, and gives you a lot of control over what procedures you want to have done and when. He is also very conscious of the financial end of things, and makes sure that part is never a surprise. Their office is very up to date, with TVs in the exam rooms and a very useful website. I think they even have a Facebook and Twitter? (it's a big deal to me that a dentist or doctor isn't afraid of new technology--gives me more faith in their abilities.) You can schedule an appointment and fill out forms online. They communicate directly with your insurance and send you an estimated cost of care before your appointment. I'm someone who likes to avoid the dentist due to the pain I have with cleanings. I chose this office based on previous reviews and do not regret my decision. Dr. Geiger was the dentist I was scheduled with. I have NEVER had such a thorough appointment before. He was very kind, patient with all my questions, and offered several solutions to problems I'm having. The dental hygienist (Emily) who did my cleaning was warned in advance about my severe teeth sensitivity, and she was very attentive and gave me my first pain-free cleaning in years. Fantastic experience. I've been to 3 or 4 different dentists and one orthodontist in my life and this was the best experience I've had at any of them. Incredibly friendly staff and well-run office. I came in for my first visit and Rachel had already reviewed my intake forms and had some follow up questions. Dr Harris described everything he was doing and why, and showed pictures of my teeth on a screen to show where I had wear from clenching. Dr. Glenn and Dr. Andy are the best. They always take care of me. And I can't praise the staff enough.

I see Dr Harris and he is wonderful. Always checks my meds each time and my blood pressure to keep me safe. He also worked with me to have my "sign" my left hand moves - that means something is up and he takes out whatever he is doing stops and asks what is going on. So I know anytime I can get his attention - a big relief to a fraidy cat like me. I have been going to him for over 20 years - about 1996 or so. Always professional - the staff knows your name - you get assigned a special dental assistant that stays with you appt. to appt. and makes it easier to feel at home and know them and not just a business. Anytime I have had an emergency they are always willing to help and get me in to make me feel better. Even the people that work there use each other as their dentist and that is saying something! The 2 doctors use each other also as their dentist. Such trust. Goes a long way in my book. People that work together - actually like each other - and TRUST each other makes my care plan easy. Give these guys a try. They dont talk you into stuff you dont need and tell them you are on a budget and they will work with you on how to make it happen. Example: I had a year without dental insurance, I went for the minimum I could do cleanings and a filling coming loose. I know there were tons of things to do but he helped me put it in perspective and a time line and now that I am back with dental insurance my plan is going smoothly.
