So when I showed up today as it was on my calendar I was informed that I didn't have an appt. Took time to rearrange my day for this appointment. Walked out seething . Called asked for office manager who did call me back who tried to explain and twist it like I canceled my appointment... didn't feel like I was given a true apology. This wasn't my 1st time with appointment issues. I suppose when your business is so large and have numerous locations and long waits for appointments that quality of customer service goes down the drain. Customer loyalty too isn't important either. Well I won't be recommending you anymore in the future if anyone asks me for a dental group. You can say what you want but trying to be a spin doctor and lay blame on the customer when your staff assumes to cancel future standing appointments without asking and confirming is INEXCUSABLE!!!

Sending me bills without submitting to my insurance is unacceptable, especially when I come back to the office and walk the staff through the submission process. Next, the practice needs to raise their cleanliness standards to at least give an impression of a clinical environment. Maybe lay in the exam chairs and look up at the ceiling to see what the patient sees (Cobwebs, filthy air vents). This practice suffers from chronic lack of leadership.

Took my husband here for dental work. He found that Dr. Packer creeped him out (because he was a…read morebit odd apparently) at first but then found him nice enough and was relieved that despite needing multiple root canals, Dr. Packer did the work in about a half hour and took care to make sure husband was getting through it ok. I have read a multitude of unflattering reviews concerning his partner who has a reputation for not being terribly kind or considerate to patients. The negative reviews tend to have a pattern which makes me feel there is a good bit of truth to them. I almost canceled the appointment because of this but other reviews highly recommended Dr. Packer with whom he was scheduled to see. I don't know about you, but I always research providers before making an appointment. They desperately need to invest a few hundred bucks in updating the awful decor. There was some ugly brown tooth sign on the wall with Dr. Overton's name on it. Otherwise, no framed images, just stodgy looking furniture and carpet. A fresh coat of paint on the walls and some framed and nature photographs would do wonders. Some magazines would be nice too. Thankfully there was no television--just radio that played Eddie Rabbitt and other assorted eighties pop drivel. When we first walked in I don't know WHAT happened but the waiting room STUNK like POOP!!! I had to pull my shirt over my nose--it was absolutely gross. I *think* the restroom was on the other side of the waiting room, and if that is the case for the love of god INVEST IN PROPER VENTILATION!!!! Is that the first impression you want to make on your patients when they first walk in the door???!!! At the end of the day, husband received good care and the cost was affordable. That part didn't stink.
