We had a very pleasant tour today with Anderson. We booked the Bath and Stonehenge tour (including the Roman Baths, not the bargain tour). We were very pleased. The trip did not cost much more than a rail ticket to the area. Because February in London is the offseason, the tour was very small. This was actually very nice as we could stretch out very easily. We also got the benefit of some wonderful commentary while traveling the countryside. Our tour guide was Catia. She was all you can ask for in a tour guide. Very pleasant, knowledgeable, humorous and extremely helpful. I served as a tour guide myself years ago and can tell when someone has spent time preparing for a tour. My wife and I both enjoyed the trip and are very glad we chose a tour over making the trek via train on our own. Based on today's experience, I would highly recommend Anderson. read more

While these places are all incredible and well worth a visit, I will probably never book with Anderson Tours again. Our guide was awful. As we passed through an area known as the "Garden of England" she remarked that "It all just looks gray, and this may be hard to believe but, yes, some people think this is actually a garden". At the castle stop, she told us all that we could use the restroom if we needed before going on the tour of the tunnels, but because our group was large, we created a bit of a line. I was near the end of the group and when I got to the tunnel door, she told me that I couldn't go into the tunnels because I was late. The castle guide working the tunnel tour then told me I could go in. I mentioned that there were still people in the bathroom who wanted to go on the tour and our guide told me that they would not be able to because they were late- even though she was the one who told us to use the restroom first. Three hours at the castle was a bit long for me so I got back on the bus a little early and found our guide who told me she was "trying to sleep". Two women were late coming back from the castle and she left them there. When someone on the bus asked if they were okay, she told us a long story over the PA about another time some tourists were late and painted them in a very unflattering light. Because the two women that she left were late, we only had 1/2 hour at the cliffs, which was just enough time to walk from the bus to the trailhead and back. I signed up for this tour because I wanted to see the cliffs and did not have enough time to walk the trail at all. We then went back to pick up the women that our guide had left at the castle. They were literally standing by the side of the road. When we got to Canterbury, she said "Some of you signed up for the Cathedral tour. You know who you are" but when we told her that none of us knew if we had signed up or not, she looked put out that she had go through her list to tell us. To add insult to injury, she told the two women that she had left at the castle that they had not signed up for the Cathedral visit. When they insisted that they had paid for one, she told them that it was no problem, they could just purchase another ticket at the door. We only saw our guide between stops- Once we got to a stop and she walked us to the location, she disappeared each time. Then, on the way home, she announced that she was going to walk the rows of the bus "to get to know us better" in what really felt like a gratuitous move to get tips, which she did ask for at the end. Since there was no designated time to eat during the whole day, I grabbed a sandwich in Canterbury and threw it in my backpack, thinking I could eat it on the way back. When I asked the guide if it was okay to eat on the bus, she said "A small snack is okay, but sometimes people try to eat things like hamburgers and it is so awful. They smell up the whole bus. It's awful", so I didn't dare take it out of my bag. When I got back, I ate my sandwich at home at 8:00 and looked online to see how to go back to see the cliffs on my own using trains and an Uber. I really want to go see them, but not with Anderson tours. To add insult to injury, when I contacted the company to let them know about all of this and to ask if it could be somehow resolved, they told me that my dissatisfaction was due was a "culture clash" and chalked it up to stress over a personal issue that I am dealing with at the moment. I am appalled at the lack of professionalism and total disregard for my feedback. read more

If you are looking to see Stonehenge and Windsor Castle I would suggest you find another tour company! My child's #1 wish for our holiday was to go Stonehenge. So we splurged and I thought that was what we purchased. While every email/text I got from them said "Stonehenge" I had in fact booked only Windsor. HORRIBLY disappointing and it felt like a bait and switch! We tried to make the best of it and went on the Windsor Tour, but what a waste of money. The guide, while very nice, didn't come in with us and really gave his opinion on current popular rather than historical information. So, if you want to go to Stonehenge, beware! You might not get what you're thinking you bought. The guide said others had the same issue. And if you want to go to Windsor Castle, take the train, listen to the free castle audio guide because their guide doesn't even come in with you, and save yourself possibly 100 USD/74.02 GBP. read more

We booked a trip to bath and Stonehenge through Anderson Tours. It started rough - they were an hour and half late for pick up and didn't reach out to anyone. Some of the people waiting called after 20 minutes and were told the bus was stuck in traffic. When it showed up people were on it already and it appears they agreed to do individual pick ups, versus getting everyone from main spot. As there website does offer this option, I think this is a normal occurrence, which then puts the bus in london traffic and makes them run late. There was a second group being picked up for another trip at same location and by time our bus showed up their bus was already running 40 minutes late. It isn't cool, as it effects the trip. We were told we would get extra time at end in bath, but we still lost an hour and a lot of the stores were closing/closed while we were in bath. Other problems included our guide not reminding anyone about the Stonehenge app we were supposed to use there, which would have been nice. Took a tour to the Cotswolds and it was fantastic! The scenery and shops were great for that photo op. The time we had was perfect for each stop. Ava and Crystal were the utmost guides, with lots of knowledge of the area with a ton of humor! Highly recommend! read more

Terrible experience with this shambles. They told my visiting family member to arrive for pick up at 9:50 and left him stood there until we got in touch with them to find out the coach left at 8:30. Customer service is non-existent and we spent the rest of the morning arguing over a refund and received no apology. Plenty of other reputable tour companies out there so avoid this one whatever you do. read more

We recently toured Avebury, Stonehenge and West Kennet. Branden, our guide, was exceptional. It was nice walking around Avebury and the community as well as Stonehenge. We hiked up to the West Kennet Long Barrow and burial mounds in the area. I asked about the White Horse and Branden said we could go a back way to London and see it. It was a real highlight! SPOT-ON CUSTOMER SERVICE Unfortunately I fell ill and had to cancel my West Kennet/Avebury/Stonehenge tour. But every step of the way, everyone I interacted with was just fantastic -- interacting with them was a real pleasure. The refund (which they arguably might have gotten sticky about) was even lickety-split, once the hubbub was past. Oh, and this is all after the combining of too-small tours three days before, such that I would have ended up with a free upgrade, which was pretty cool. ;) I am so, so grateful for them being so great with me, especially between being under the weather and /very/ disappointed. It sounds like I had a pretty similar experience to a lot of the other reviewers here - a late tour. From what it sounds like, Anderson Tours needs to stop using "London traffic" as an excuse. If they know there's going to be traffic, then they should probably leave earlier. Common sense. My friends and I arrived at 7:15 for the 7:30 pick-up at Earl's Court for the Stonehenge/Bath day tour. The bus was two hours late. TWO HOURS. When the bus finally arrived, it was pretty much packed. There was also a lot of confusion between which people booked the tours with the included ticket entry to the Roman Baths, and which people did not. They then had to shuffle people around between two buses and finally figured it out. Then, there was a couple who belonged on the last two seats on our bus. However, the two seats were not located next to each other, so they refused to get on, until a random person gave up her seat for them. As for the tour, we had less time than we should have probably had at each location. Stonehenge was unimpressive, as there were just so many tourists there all having to walk along a narrow pathway to view the stones, that we felt like cattle being herded. Bath was a nice trip. I would recommend forgoing a bus tour, and taking the train directly there from London and doing your own day trip at your leisure. read more

We did the Inner Access Stonehenge tour using Anderson Tours. It was the best. Despite my wife having walking limitations, the staff were accommodating and helped her out with wheelchair access when we arrived at Stonehenge. During the portions of the tour where we had to walk, they made sure that we were ok. Cliff and Manon were helpful and informative. Very pleasant. Loved walking between the large stones of Stonehenge. We did get to use the highway stop for toilet use on the way, and toilet use at the available places including at the Stonehenge visitors area. Planned our London trip dates based on getting access to the inner circle, and glad we did. Would recommend them for this tour. read more

Here's the thing, I've never actually taken a tour from Anderson Tours. But I've booked 2 of them... So how does this review work? Well, back when I was living in London (1997) I booked a tour to go to Bruges for the Christmas Market. It was a great price, short day trip, and a nice way to spend an afternoon Christmas shopping for family. The problem however, was that I woke up that morning with a 101F fever... Nope, not going. But what was really nice is that the bus driver called to make sure I wasn't just running behind and should he wait a few minutes for me. 4 stars there. But then on my last trip (about 6 months ago, Yes I'm STILL catching up on reviews) I booked a trip to Stonehenge since I was ashamed that after living in England for 2 years I'd never been there. Again, good price, good timing but then...They called hours before my tour was supposed to leave to cancel. They were willing to reschedule me, but I was now a tourist, and leaving the next day. I understand canceling trips (and they did give me a full refund), but it was the timing of it. Because they waited until the last minute, I couldn't make any alternate plans. Definitely a 2 star feeling there. I'm evening that out to 3 stars but I'm not sure if I'd book through them again. That last minute cancellation just left a bad taste in my mouth and I don't really want that to happen again on my next trip. read more

This was my first coach tour so I don't really have much to go by. But... I really wanted to go to Bath and with this tour Stonehenge seemed a wonderful add on. Picked up at 7.30am and driving around London until 9.15am for other pick ups wasn't the best start to my day. Granted, it was nice to see some parts of London on road level (as opposed to taking the tube). I know that London is a big city, but I wasn't looking forward to doing all of this in reverse at the end of the day! Stonehenge was intriguing (but take warm clothing!) and Bath was stunning. But, I was surprised at our tour guide who basically travelled on the bus with us, picked up our tickets at Stonehenge and the Roman Baths, gave us our return time, and sent us on our way with the audio guides. I wasn't willing to give a tip as recommended by our guide at the end of the day. However, there was a lot of flexibility with dates as this tour runs most days. The bus was comfortable and lots of room as there were about 20 of us on that particular day. read more

These bus tours are always not enough time, and tough to enjoy, but if I had to pick one, I thought Anderson did a decent job. First, the tour I elected, only went to two locations - Stonehenge and Bath - so you aren't trying to squeeze in too much in one day. But to be honest, you could easily spend a whole day at either. The bus picked up on time at the agreed upon site, and dropped off at the same spot. In fact, because I was the last person at the last stop, the bus driver agreed to stop me closer to my destination on the way. The tour guide was absolutely lovely and had a lot of great knowledge and a wonderful disposition. The driver was also lovely, and you could observe the two getting to know each other and being very pleasant people. The number of people was fine - about a dozen or so, so plenty of space and no rush. Everyone was also good about being on time. read more

I used this tour company to do a day trip to visit Stongehenge and Bath. The tour manager and driver were overall friendly. Although the tidbits about Bath and Sally Lun Buns were way off (they're huge tourist traps and the buns are just okay). My biggest qualm about this company is that the pickups are not convenient for someone staying in say Picadilly Circus like I did. The website claims convenient pickups in central London but there was nowhere within walking distance that I was able to get picked up. I had to take the tube for pick up and to get back to my hotel after drop off. read more

We had the unpleasant experience of taking the day trip with Anderson Tours to Stonehenge & Bath from London, led by the tour guide, Mark. Mark was extremely rude and dismissive of our concerns, including our complaint of the inaudible acoustics in the tour bus, which left 75% of his commentary unintelligible to the average listener. Further, Mark never gave clear instructions on the timing and process throughout the tour, which left us very confused. The tour ran 30 minutes late in the beginning of the day, so instead of leaving at 9am, we didn't leave until 9:30. Consequently, we didn't get to spend much time in Stonehenge and missed valuable time at the visitors center. The visit to Bath was lovely, but there was a roughly 15 minute processing delay for the entire tour group because we were told by Mark that we had only paid for the 'bargain tour' and could not join the tour to the Roman baths. Fortunately, I took screen shots of our confirmation code, but Mark was incredibly rude and questioned us on two different occasions front of the entire tour group, which felt humiliating. The entire group had to wait in the cold while Mark attempted to sort out the confusion. We felt as if Mark handled the situation very poorly and unprofessionally, and we would dissuade anyone from taking Anderson/viator tours in the future. My mother and I booked the Stonehenge and Bath tour on the 15th of january. We were the first pick up location at London Bridge. Our coach was supposed to pick us up at 7:30 and as recommended we we where at the bus stop by 7:15. AS 7:30 came and went with no tour bus in sight i called the number provided with no answer. The entire time we were waiting a woman was also sitting at the stop waiting, but i hadn't asked her yet if she was also waiting for the tour. I saw an anderson coach approach, but it continued driving past us. When it stopped at a light i approached the coach and showed him my booking papers and he waved me off. Once i got back to the stop i called again, it was about 7:40 at this point still no answer. At the point i asked the other woman sitting at the stop if she was waiting for the tour to Stonehenge too. She ignored me at first and i asked her again thinking maybe she didn't hear me to which she replied yeah, I'm the guide, theres traffic, thats why the driver is not here yet. It was obvious that we were waiting for the tour as we were talking about it, discussed me calling the company right next to her, it would've been good for her to mention hey I'm your guide, don't worry about the bus, it'll be here soon. I understand that traffic is an issue, especially on business days in the morning rush hour, but since there are tours running everyday, you would think the company would have taken this into consideration. There were more stops that needed to be made, and not once was there an apology issued to anyone for the lateness. As we learned our tour guides name is Kristina. She seemed miserable and very unhappy to be there or with her job. She mentioned how she hoped for a transfer to Australia, and for Australia's sake i hope that she doesn't get it. She is a terrible guide. As the coach was driving through the city she didn't bother pointing out the neighborhoods or the monuments and parks as we passed by. the only time she said anything on the microphone was to complain. Her big contribution to the trip was that the people of the late 17th and 18th century had very poor hygiene and most likely smelled awful. On our return to London there was traffic yet again, and the driver had hit his 4 hour mark so everyone was forced off the bus wether it was their stop or not. I understand safe driving operations, however it makes me think what would have happened if the traffic lasted longer, would the driver had pulled off the road near a train station and made everyone find their own way back. WE also stopped for 15 minutes on our return from Bath at a rest stop, so I find it odd that the driver kept insisting that insisting that he can't drive for 4 hours straight without a 15 minute rest. I had booked the independent style tours knowing that we would be independent once we got to the locations, however i didn't expect the guide to be so miserable and awful at her job, She did not share any of London's history to a bus full of tourists. She should really reconsider her career choices, and the company should evaluate how good she is at her job. Stonehenge and Bath themselves were beautiful, but if i had known how terrible of a guide she would be and how awful the bus service was i would've rented a car on my own and purchased my tickets on site for a much better price. read more

So I booked this one day trip to Stonehenge and Bath, prior to leaving LA - at a cost of £55 per person. When the bus shows up around 8a.m. outside St. Pancras Library, a tall, chirpy platinum blonde with what I think is a slightly odd northern accent checks us in but not before asking where we're from- when we say LA she says oooh take me with you! Must say Brits have become kind of forward since my last visit! Amazingly for this part of the world, the bus has AC - which is great - though remains mainly unused thereafter, which is not as great. After wasting an hour inside London, stopping at various stations to pick up more passengers, we are finally on our way. It later dawns on me that the guide is in fact Spanish- well when I say dawns on me, I mean I heard her speak Spanish to a couple of passengers. So her accent is actually a mix of European and Northern English and her every statement is followed by a "yeah?" - "so we'll be leaving in 5 minutes, yeah? Please make sure you're back in time, yeah? It's very important, yeah?" Unlike me, my friend found this highly amusing and in no time had elevated the annoying verbal tic to a very posh sounding "yess?" and was adding it to the end of her own sentences for the rest of our stay. For those who have not seen it up close, Stonehenge is exactly what you see in the pictures: a giant rock formation dating back to who really knows when. It's a neither here nor there kind of thing: interesting because it's historic but otherwise slightly pointless. You can't touch the stones of course - yes one person in this group wanted to - you know who you are. Upon arrival, blondie, who had been deathly silent up until then seemed to suddenly awaken from a deep slumber and began to introduce us to the legend - which, let's face it, is not exactly carved in stone. Were grand ceremonies held there thousands of years ago? Was it a burial ground? Was it to guide lost pilgrims home? Or the site of an alien landing perhaps? How did the stones even get there?? No one really knows but apparently a lot of people care. Here, the guide was talking sooooo sloooowlyyyy and deliberately that she sounded like she was on some form of illegal substances and after a few more minutes of this disturbingly gentle lullaby of a narrative, I seriously started suspecting brain damage. It was such an underwhelming, almost whispered little speech that at times it seemed like she was actually struggling for breath. Perhaps she thought she was communicating with a bunch of children. Again, my friend found this drug induced little turn quite soothing apparently. Sadly, or perhaps not, the guide did not extend her oratory services to the actual visit at Stonehenge and once disembarked, we walked around in the gale-force winds sporting one of those audio guide things instead. At the gift shop the queue soon snaked around the entire floor which was the size of my shoe (which is not that large in case anyone's wondering) making it very difficult for us to be back at the bus on time without risking public lynching. Yeah? At our next stop, Bath, an hour or so away, once again we have the same monotone intro and subsequent abandonment by the Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds tour-guide. I have to admit that Bath is quite beautiful - at least the parts that we were shown. For a dreaded moment, some of the streets were a little reminiscent of San Francisco with the constant ups and downs, but the architecture is absolutely remarkable. As for the famed Roman baths themselves: the water is green and in certain parts even orange, at once gross and intriguing and although completely surreal, looking at the aging statues and damaged columns, the sense of history is striking. Lunch at Sally Lunn- as highly recommended by the sleepy guide- clearly in cahoots with one another, was interesting. The place is on two floors, but ridiculously small and filled with older clientele - it's basically an old English house converted to a restaurant, so cozy that the people taking the table next to us knocked the water over on our table when attempting to squeeze through to their seats. The food was not memorable, so do yourselves a favour, ignore the false advertising by the tour-guide and eat elsewhere. Back in London, after much contemplation and negotiation with the passengers, driver and guide dump us at the nearest tube station because it would take less time to get back home on the train than it would on the bus navigating through rush hour traffic - so be warned. A little unexpected and cheeky perhaps, but ultimately, a fairly practical suggestion. Okay, rant over. read more

I went to Stone Henge and Salisbury Cathederal last year. Stone Henge=Amazing! I can't believe I was there touching the stones. Yea, I know you are not suppose to touch them, but I just had to. Our tour guide was funny and had his own picture collection of stone henge. Not bad, I had to contriubute and buy some off of him. The tour was 45 minutes and I got to run around the stones taking pictures. It was very cold so probably bring a jacket and a scarf! read more

A terrible day with Anderson! Never again. Stone henge & Bath. Our day started with the bus being late, our names not on their roster, even though we prepaid, the bus employees talking with us on how bad the management is, our two buses being overbooked, us being removed from the bus in an area we were not familiar with after the 3rd stop because of their clerical error of not finding our names on the prepaid roster and their needing the seats, only to then be told they had room on the other bus, which someone had taken a dump in the toilet and totally smelled the bus up! We were delayed by 2.5 hours and our time at each location was cut short. They didn't know how to operate the AC on the bus, so it was either on full blast freezing, or shut off, hot, humid, sweaty, etc.. Never, ever again. And then were told by Anderson Management that the trip went on as planned, no refund! Run from them! Their employees on the trip were discussing how bad internal management throughout the day! read more

I went to Avery, Stonehenge, and Glastonbury Abbey while visiting London. The tour was rescheduled (we went on a Thur. rather than a Wed.) There were only 4 of us on the tour which was nice. It was a beautiful day and the sites were impressive. Of the three, Avery was the least interesting and most difficult to appreciate. The guide (was eager but annoying) was arguing with the driver (who was very nice) at various times during the day. Make sure you find out the time that you are to spend at each site before you leave. The guide wanted to limit our time at one of the sites. When he left the van early on our way back to London, we all felt a sense of relief. Be prepared for a lot of traffic. read more

Anderson Tours was recommended by my London Pass app and of course when it offered the 20% discount, I jumped at the chance because I always wanted to go to Stonehenge and Bath. Their tours are reasonably priced and they claimed they are the only few that include the price of the tickets. My pickup point was at Earls Court and I was staying nearby there so it was an easy walk. It was supposed to be a 9 AM pickup, but the bus came in @ 10 AM because of the London traffic. This August being a busy tourist month and the looming transit tube strike overhanging, so I can't fault them for being late. Apparently other customers due to the traffic congestions had to take the tube to Earls Court to meet this pickup bus as well. Once we got out of London, the tour manager introduced herself and her driver. They worked great as a team and the guide herself is a newbie; just into it for close to 2 years. The manager's knowledge is ok; though the driver knows a bit more than her do probably due to the years of him driving the same routes. We stopped at a comfort stop for wee and pee before embarking a 1.5hrs journey to Stonehenge. Then the tour manager went silent in a deep slumber and only awaken about 15 minutes closer to Stonehenge. Stonehenge was really nice, though I had no desire to touch the stones, I did silently venture out to touch one because no one's was looking (huge crowds help mask me). Suffice to say, it seemed to be a standard practise nowadays for guides to dump an audio guide on us and self-serve through. We had 90 mins around Stonehenge which was generous. I heard some tours only give 45 mins; not enough time if you have to factor in the shuttle bus service from the parking lot to the actual site which is 2km away and visit the educational centre and learn about the history of it. As we depart Stonehenge, we spent 1 hr to get into Bath. This time, the tour manager was more lively as I suspect that she may have more knowledge about Bath. She dispensed the usual tourist trap areas. I didn't go to those, except to Garfunkel's but even this establishment isn't the same as what my friends who had been here a decade or more ago. I find the food's cheaper in some places outside of a tourist trap. Again, the manager gave us 2.5 hrs to roam around. I stayed about 1 hr in the Roman baths, the green and orange oozing unpleasant water. You can't touch nor drink it. They do have filtered bath water you can freely drink. It's yucky taste but you know it's full of minerals. Bath is a great city and I liked its old buildings and the cathedral abbey. One warning though; the Bath park is not free to non-resident. It's 1 pound 50 pence to get in, but there were no clear signs. This is the first park I get charged for being a non-resident as London has many large parks you can go in for free. But it's the only park that gives you a good view of the waterfall. On our way back, we stopped at another comfort stop along the way before we arrived in London, but we started late, we came back really late. So, they had to cut a few stops off except Earls Court and the central London and make most of us take the tube back to where we first started. The tour manager suggested that we should give her and her driver tips voluntarily of course. Few did, but I did because I know it's tough to be a tour manager with lousy pay. She's not making a lot btw but I won't disclose how much. All I can say is that it is a bit better than flipping burgers. This is a job for passionate people if you have some. read more

1. The guide did not know how to turn the heat on in the bus, so we were all shivering the whole way to Cambridge and listening to her complain about how cold her feet were 2. She didn't know what time the tour ended, so she ended up letting us all out, telling us to meet her in the same spot at 4pm and then drove off 3. There was a brief local guide for Cambridge who then left us at the Cathedral. Isn't the point of having a guide that they guide you around your destination? We were left to wander for hours without guidance 4. The bus was late to pick us up 5. The air con was blasting so hard that we were all sweating the whole way back to London, and the guide said that she didn't know how to fix it 6. She was a terrible driver, swerving and skidding and complaining that this wasn't her usual vehicle 7. The gudie told everyone to get out at Tower Hill tube station, instead of dropping us back at our pick up points, because she said the traffic was too heavy 8. After pointing us in the WRONG DIRECTION towards the tube, she sped off, leaving us two blocks from Tower Hill, so we had to find our way there alone and then pay peak fares back to where we should have been dropped off read more

We recently went on the Anderson Tour of Stonehenge and Avebury. We had a lot of time at all three sites (West Kennet Long Barrow being the third), and it was really a wonderful day. Our extremely knowledgeable driver/guide was Steve, who was eager to share his insights, and gave us just the right amount of information. We spent a lot of time outside the bus (we had a bit over 2 hours to tour Stonehenge), and the tour left and returned to London on schedule. We booked the Dover castle/cliffs tour with Anderson tours. On the morning of our tour, we went to the bus stop, and after the bus didn't come, we contacted the agency. Apparently they cancelled the tour and didn't bother to notify us. We were standing on the sidewalk for an hour at 0800 in December waiting for a bus that would never come. read more

What a JOKE!! I tried to book a tour to Glastonbury and the person at the office on the 2nd floor of the 185 Tower Bridge Road location was just like the character from Little Britain's Travel Agency sketch!!! I wanted to book a trip to Glastonbury, Stonehenge and Bath. He typed a few things on his keyboard and said "The computer says No" - we don't do that anymore. I asked him, "Then why am I even here? Who does 'that any more?'" He said, "I Don't Know?" I said, Then find out someone in LONDON THAT DOES!" He typed on his computer keyboard a little and said W1 - I said being an American. "What does that mean?" He said that it was in the W1 area. It went on like this for 10 minutes... I basically said to him in great detail, "Find a place in the greater London that books travel to Glastonbury and get me the direction and print them out so I can go there and do it at their office!" He did not understand what I wanted. I finally got an address from him, which he wrote on a scrap piece of paper rather than some nice letter head business page, and he gave it to me. At least that was a start. Now for the 2nd part of my simple request... How to get there, He took quite a while on how to get that pulled up on the computer. He turned the screen towards me and said. This is how.... I asked him originally to perform this simple task and to print it out for me. "Unless you are going to give me your monitor, How am I supposed to see how to get to the other location?" So he printed it out, reluctantly. Then, after a nice walk and a few tube rides... I got to the location. It was a Student Services building for a University that was THEIR CLIENT! AND NOT A TRAVEL AGENCY!!! I have yet to call them or go back and give them a piece of my mind but..... THEY DON'T DO TRAVEL ANYMORE! The only reason that I wanted to go to the place to book my travel was that it is easier for me to pay in cash/pounds sterling. I did not want to use my debit card to not be charged the exchange fees by booking it online.... DON'T USE THEIR SERVICE.... read more

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly on our tour to Stonehenge and Bath. She was willing to answer any of our questions on the coach and was also interested in whether we enjoyed our time at both Stonehenge & Bath. The times at each destination were perfect and even had enough time to sit down for lunch in Bath. Bath is a beautiful town and I would love to return one day. Our driver was excellent and got us back to London safely and in good timing. read more

We waited at our pick up location for 40 minutes for the bus. We called twice and the excuse both times was terrible traffic. The only thing this tour company does is pick passengers up, take them to the location and then return them back to the city. They should understand London traffic and plan properly. As a result, we did not have enough time at Stonehenge. I would definitely look for another tour company. This one failed miserably. read more

We are coach trip organizers and booked a coach via Anderson Tours because the rate quoted was good. I get a quick reply everytime i email Steve, one of the sales managers and also Nicola is accommodating. All is well until the day of the coach trip. We were assigned a driver called KEN and he has been a nightmare since the start of the day. Our pick up time was 07:00 , the coach was there on time but we had to wait for some booked passengers who were delayed due to the Sunday tube service.Ken (the driver) was already saying that he can only work for so many hours and that the company made a mistake when they allowed the booking to be from 07:00 to 18:00. Drive time from London to Walsingham where we were going for the pilgrimage is 2.5 hrs or 3 depending on traffic. So as a consideration to him as a driver we agreed to go back to London at 17:00 instead which cuts our booked time short of an hour. We have given him a map to follow going to the pilgrimage site to avoid traffic but he said it looks like the map was written by somebody who doesn't even how to write.The servery for hot drinks was not working on the coach which we said we don't mind, we just want a comfortable travel. We also asked if the radio is working and the driver said yes, but we will not be able to find a decent station anyway and he cannot be looking for stations whilst he is driving so we also gave up on using the radio though this is supposed to be one of the comforts of paying for an executive coach.He could have just told me how to work the radio and do it ourselves. Reaching Walsingham, we were dropped off to the coach park by the Anglican Church. The pick up point after the pilgrimage is at the Roman Catholic church which is 10 minutes drive away (20-30 minutes walk) from the drop off point. At 14:00 we got a call from one of our passengers that they requested to get on the parked coach and take the ride to the pick up area (Roman Catholic church) because the child they have with them is shivering in the cold and sick. The answer was ' i don't care if the child dies in the cold!'! You go the pub and wait! Apparently he was sleeping inside the coach and was angry to be disturbed. As far as i know we have booked the coach for the day and passengers can get onto it when they have to. And the worst thing is, he drove off and left them standing in the open car park. This is a sick child being carried in her grandmother's arms. I then contacted the Anderson Tours office and got through to the Operations team. Shaun was very helpful and tried to contact the driver several times for us because we are almost begging for this driver to pick up these passengers in the drop off point and if he can drive down to our meeting place because all the other drivers are there. 2 hrs later and still the driver refused to budge from wherever he is, no conscience that he left somebody in the cold.Note that this is in the middle of a coach park in the countryside and there is even nowhere to sit. It was 16:45 when we saw the coach approaching the pick up point, no passengers on board. When i asked he said he is in charge and if passengers want to board the coach 3 hrs before the pick up time then that is not his problem. That we can report and call the office all we want but he is in charge. At this point we as organizers were really distressed thinking of the child and an grandmother left in the cold. I then begged this driver again if we can pick up the left passengers on our way back. He grumpily agreed and i thought that was the end of it. What he did was drive towards the other coaches who are on their way out from the pilgrimage, knowing fully well that this is a narrow one way road. It was half an hour of us listening to him moaning that this is ridiculous and left us praying for our lives when he decided to turn around and take the right route. He drove so fast that some of the passengers were holding on praying that we do not meet an accident. I said to the driver he wouldn't have this problem if he picked them up on his way to us in the first place because he already passed by them. On the way back to London, the toilet was already full and out of use which we understand because coach toilets only have a capacity and will need to be emptied before it can be used again. We had a pregnant passenger on board and people who were in desperate need to have a pee. I asked if he can at least stop 10-15 minutes for service as we are on time and even an hour early on our way back to London anyway. he said he has no time to stop and said 'I can drop you off the service station and leave you there!'. We had no choice but hold on until we reach London which is still an hour away.Such a RUDE driver!!! On reaching our destination, he threw out our bags from the hold. Literally threw it aggressively and breaking some glasses in the bag. I have never experienced such rudeness and an embarassment to the company he works for. read more

Our group of 3 booked a few days in advance for the Stonehenge and Bath tour. I can't remember the exact price (around 50 pounds?) but I know it was relatively cheaper than the other tours we found. It's a day trip that is straight to the point: they pick you up from several available locations, drive you to Stonehenge, give you an hour for do the 45 minute tour (audio guide included and recommended!) and grab a snack, load you right back on the bus to drive to Bath, give you about 2-3 hours to visit the Bath House and grab lunch. The tickets for Stonehenge and the Bath House are included, which is a great deal since the train to Bath alone would have been 30 pounds alone for a one way. Our tour guide let us sleep during the drive to Stonehenge but gave a few informative tips during the drive to Bath. She did not follow us around while we were in the towns so there wasn't much work on her behalf, but the tours are self explanatory and you can pretty much roam around as you'd like within the timeframe. You leave at 8am and arrive home at 7pm so it's perfect if you only have a day to see these two places. read more
