I was treated very well although I was admittedly underdressed. Greeted immediately with glowing smiles and courtesy. While still jovial, professionalism was maintained throughout my meal. Not cheep mind you but a solid meal with a proper vibe.

When you walk in the door, you know it will be delicious. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Christian greeted us and checked in with us during our dinner. The food was amazing! We have the seafood linguini and veal saltimbocca. Tiramisu for dessert. soooo good! Excellent in every way. Will be back many times!!

Lamb chops entree was perfectly seasoned with balanced accompaniment sides.

What a positive service staff at this Italian restaurant! Outing dinner here was so fun with a few friends! We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious meal and warm, cozy atmosphere. Will be back soon with family.

We went for dinner without reservations. Wait time was 15 minutes and we were seated promptly after. Alex, our server, was wonderful. We had the prawn appetizer. For dinner we had the chicken Neapolitana with a side of sautéed spinach and prawn carbonara. For dessert we had the limoncello cake. It was perfect- not too sweet and melted in your mouth. Food was excellent. Ambiance was wonderful. Definitely recommend making reservations.

Sausage rigatoni, so much sausage and mushrooms, fantastic treat!!

10 stars would be more appropriate! The ambiance was so warm, toasty, intimate and inviting-great for date night, family dinner night, or treating yourself! The food was fantastic, you must start with the meatballs, soo good, try the rigatoni and sausage, so delicious just the right amount of decadence and a hint of spice. The chicken Marsala was wonderful rich and tender in a well balanced rich sauce. The ravioli ,salmon and chicken Napolini made our taste buds sing. We would truly travel to Bellevue just to come to this inviting treasure of a restaurant. And speaking of treasures, Cristian is an absolute gem of a human, Wow, he added extra sparkle to our evening 100%. Moises took such great care of us, a cup was never empty a face never frowned, thank you both for a wonderful night! All I can say is like Cristian says "wow, wow, wow" cause we love it, we love it, we love it! They took our party of 5 last minute on a Friday evening, and wow were we all in love! Had an excellent dinner that was so much fun thanks to the outstanding staff and talented chefs!

View from the back of the restaurant. They didn't ignore me like some restaurants do when you're dining alone.

This is one of the nicest Italian restaurants I've eaten at in the United States and I travel regularly. The staff was exceptional, the food was not pretentious, and it was so flavorful. The marinara, I need to work there just to have them teach me how to make that stuff! You can tell it was just fresh simple ingredients. Wonderful wine selection too by the way.

From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Our server, Terence ("T"), was outstanding: warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making the evening special without ever being overbearing. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the Fettuccine Al Pesto con Gamberoni with pesto and prawns, and it was incredible. I especially love that Carmine's offers both small and large portions, which lets you enjoy a rich pasta dish without feeling like you have to commit to an enormous serving. My husband had the Grilled King Salmon Battuto and couldn't stop talking about how good it was. The drink menu is just as impressive. They have an extensive wine list, great champagne selections, and excellent cocktails. The espresso martinis are fantastic and the perfect way to end the meal. What really elevated the evening were the thoughtful touches. The staff beautifully prepared our table for my birthday and surprised me with a complimentary tiramisu complete with a candle. It made the celebration feel personal and memorable. The location itself is beautiful, and with the outdoor patio now open for summer, it's an even better spot to visit. Bonus points for being dog-friendly, which we always appreciate. Outstanding food, exceptional service, a gorgeous setting, and genuine hospitality. We're already planning our next visit. Squid ink pasta is always my go-to when I see it on a menu, and this version was perfectly balanced, fresh, and packed with seafood flavor. One thing I really appreciated was the convenient parking in the same building. The garage can be accessed from the back, and the restaurant validates parking for up to 4 hours. Just make sure to scan when you enter the restaurant. As a nice touch, they also give you a small welcome box of biscuits, which were absolutely delicious! The restaurant itself is beautiful, clean, and welcoming. My only criticism is that the service felt a bit rushed. Our server was friendly, but seemed eager to take our order quickly, likely because they were juggling several tables. It wasn't a major issue, but we would have appreciated a little more time to settle in, enjoy the atmosphere, and browse the menu before ordering. Overall, the food was excellent and definitely worth coming back for--especially that squid ink pasta.

My sister brought me here for my birthday dinner because I had my heart set on Italian, and she delivered. From the moment we sat down the service was wonderful. I genuinely felt taken care of the whole evening. For dinner I ordered the chicken fettuccine alfredo, which is my go-to at any Italian spot, and it did not disappoint. The portions are generous too, which I always appreciate. I also had a Greek salad and enjoyed every bite. My sister's only note was that the anchovies in her Caesar were pretty bold, but honestly, a traditional Caesar has anchovies in it. That's kind of the point! I ordered the tiramisu to go and I am so glad I did. It is my favorite Italian dessert and this one hit the spot. Yum!! Overall it was a really lovely birthday dinner. Usually, in inviting me to lunch meant they wished to pay. I had many lovely meals here. First, my favorite items. For appetizer, Cozze e Vongole Saltate was a nice mix of Sauteed mussels, clams, white wine, lemon, and garlic. Light and great flavor. I ordered soup. Particularly interested in eggplant. My soup was Zuppa di Melanzane, which is Roasted eggplant soup with olive oil and fresh herbs in cream sauce. I really enjoyed the flavors in this soup, hearty and burst of herbs. Have to get this with the house made bread. Actually, one could just be satisfied with these selections. The service here is very nice, they seem dedicated to ensuring you and your parties enjoy themselves. I have been here over 20 times. The food , service and atmosphere all have been positive. When you are conducting business, this level of service is important. So happy I can depend on great food and service. Ok, but we always order more. Risotto is always cooked perfectly. I love seafood, so usually order Zuppa ai Pesce al Vino Bianco, Fresh seafood mixed in a white wine sauce. Asparagi alla Griglia is a great side order. Another favorite is Vitello a tuo Piacere. Veal Pizzaiola version. I usually have several glasses of their Pino Grigio. For dessert, their Torta de la Nonna "Double crusted tart with a delicate lemon cream and almonds." I have made this myself and admire their version. I would come into work every day, if this menu was offered at lunch. Great food, great service and often lovely company. An ideal day.

We did a belated Christmas gift exchange with friends recently and our friends made reservations here. So glad they did! It's literally right down in the main Bellevue Square hub, so we were able to easily park at the mall and make a short walk to Castilla. Vibes were perfect with low lighting but still a bustling atmosphere. Our server (unfortunately forgot his name) kept solid recommendations coming all night and was so funny and personable! As this is a tapas spot, we tried quite a few dishes and split them amongst the table. Mixta Paella: our server promised us that the smaller size paella was good for 2-4 people and man he was RIGHT. The portion was absolutely insane and I don't think we even finished all of it. Everything tasted so fresh and there was so much flavor to the dish. They warn you ahead of time, but plan for the paella to take 30 minutes for them to prepare. Grilled Octopus Leg: Every time I have octopus (which is two times now LOL) I'm a little worried about the texture, but it was prepared beautifully here and the sauce that it was in was delicious. Salmon & Artichoke Dip: I'm a sucker for any type of artichoke dip and this was no exception. Creamy, rich, and great flavor! Beef Medallions: Tender and cooked to perfection. Definitely recommend. Chorizo & Onion Empanada: Another banger. So crispy and the filling was so good! I actually was on the fence about this one but my husband insisted, and it was a good choice. Patatas Aioli: Crispy layered potato with a garlic aioli? I mean, come on. You can't go wrong. Delicious. I had made a reservation in advance by phone. When we arrived, however, the restaurant told us they could not find our reservation. While mistakes can happen, the interaction felt dismissive from the very beginning. After we were eventually seated, we were not given menus, even though other guests around us received theirs immediately. We waited and asked multiple times but were still left without menus. Eventually, I tried to get the attention of the front desk and asked for a menu. Instead of helping us, the owner came over and told us that we were being "not polite" and that because we were "not polite," we would not be given a menu. Wanting to document our experience, I posted a Google review while we were waiting. Shortly afterward, the owner came directly to our table with the review on her phone and confronted us about it while we were eating. I politely asked if we could discuss it after the meal, but was told that we needed to change the review immediately or leave the restaurant. I was honestly shocked. I've never experienced a restaurant owner approaching diners during their meal and pressuring them to modify a review. This was my father's birthday dinner, and the confrontation made the entire evening uncomfortable and upsetting for my family. To make matters worse, after we got home, we realized that one of the dishes we ordered was never served at all, and no one noticed throughout the entire meal. I understand that service mistakes can happen. Losing a reservation, forgetting menus, or missing an item can all be corrected. What disappointed me most was how these issues were handled. Instead of acknowledging the problems, we were blamed, confronted, and pressured to change our feedback. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I believe future customers deserve to know about our experience.
