This place was way more than I could've hoped for. My best friend and I chose this place for a spontaneous night out to hang out. The ambiance was very suiting for a romantic/quiet night out, even as the night got darker the restaurant dimmed the lights to match. Everything on the menu sounded so good that my friend and I ordered so much and just ate off of each other's plates - caesar salad, potato soup, chicken pesto ravioli, and chicken parmesan. All of the dishes were AMAZING, every bite I was having was a mini foodgasm each time. We used to dine at Andiamo and gradually grew tired of it. When we saw that the ownership had changed, we decided to give it a try again. We have eaten there three times and every time the food has been exceptional. The atmosphere is warm and intimate. I would surely recommend it to anyone that enjoys well prepared Italian food that is served hot and tastes delicious. Food was Expensive and Gross. Bought Eggplant parmesan. They charged me 20 bucks. Right in front of me, they took out eggplant and cheese packed in some paper, microwaved it and the it in a togo box... Even the pasta was premade!! The look and taste was just gross! When I called them out on this, the owner simply said that she couldn't turn the money and that they couldn't do anything about it. How about cook it instead of heating and serving slop right in front of the customer. I will never ever recommend this place to anyone!! read more

Meh, I cannot say it was bad experience but I had expected more for the prices they have. Usually I am on small businesses side and give it preference over chain restaurants. But unfortunately most Italian chain restaurants are better. By some reason there were something wrong with macaroni, overcooked probably , and all food was not salted. My wife ordered a Risotto Di Mare and it was just a bad soup of rice & crappy marinara because maybe the guy also ran out of clams, moussels, etc because the seafood was not present. I ordered the rack of lamb and it was okay (I've had better before) however captured my attention that the portion was big. If you combine crappy service, bad food and $50 per person what you get is a "No go" restaurant and let me help everyone to save money by no recommending this restaurant. The ambiance is romantic and the food is decent; but for the price, there are better options nearby. My friend and I came here before a lecture at the Bellevue Library. Danube was closed for renovation so we had no other alternative. One thing to note is that the front door is REALLY heavy so you get to use muscle before you can enter. The open kitchen was interesting as you can see the chef doing the cooking. The server was friendly as he greeted my friend and I when we entered and seated us promptly. There was an extensive wine list but we opted not to drink. The menu had multiple selections of specialty items so my friend and I changed our minds several time. Eventually, she settled on the pear and gorgonzola ravioli with walnut-gorgonzola sauce ($22) and I went for rosemary chicken ravioli which was the special of the day. The portion size was definitely not huge here. I got maybe five raviolis. The pesto sauce that came with the ravioli was nicely made. I tried a bit of my friend's pear and gorgonzola ravioli. It seemed like the pear was only an ornament and there were no pear in the actual ravioli. The walnut sauce was nice and the dish was flavorful but it was hard to get excited about it. For dessert, I got the tiramisu and my friend got the panna cotta. The tiramisu was decent but it seemed like they only make one fruit puree for the day. The tiramisu and the panna cotta came with the same puree. There was nothing wrong with the puree but it was not exciting either. The whole meal including tips cost me close to $40. The server was really kind in splitting the bill by what we each ordered. He also pushed the really heavy door for us so that we can exit. So I think the service is alright but the food is definitely just mediocre for the price. read more

We came here for the first time after they changed to a new management. We ordered steak, the special seafood pasta and chocolate desserts. Food was delicious. Unfortunately I had food poisoning in the middle of the night. Stomach was in pain and throwing up for the entire night. I assumed some of the seafood were not that fresh. I'm avoiding I-5 corridor for the next few weeks just like every other smart Seatown resident. Revisiting old standbys on the eastside for lunch and dinner meetings, including Andiamo's. Pleasant room and staff, a neighborhood feel to it. Big dishes and nice wine list. I didn't argue about whether or not a giant cobb salad was considered an entree. I think it is. However, my Passport card was declined by the Man for the discount. That's ok, I don't make a habit of clipping coupons anyhow. Almost ruined a fabulous white dress shirt from juice running off the front of a Calamari steak sandwich. Striking Jackson Pollack style flourishes of dark brown dressing / saucy stuff that didn't do much for the dish, but lots of things for the couture! We used to frequent a place called Salute in Downtown Bellevue but it has since closed. We found this great little Italian joint in the heart of Bellevue. I was a fan from my first bite! The food is so fresh and so tasty. The Oh so many wines they offer are absolutly delicious. The wait staff is super nice and they love to recommend something to you. I love the pear and cheese ravioli its my favorite dish. It is not very expensive and its a great qaunt place to celebrate something special or just for a casual meal. You get free fresh hot bread on the table with yummy oil The appetizers are wonderful as well, we love the calamari. Its not a great place for a large group because its a pretty small joint but you should def try it out if you have not yet. Its worth your time and your dough. read more

My husband and I travel to Bellevue regularly and we have often remarked that we want to try Andiamo. The atmosphere was nice with subdued lighting and a quaint setting. I ordered the salmon special and my husband ordered the lasagna. Unfortunately the lasagna arrived cold in the middle and salty, and my salmon was luke warm. When we asked about when the lasagna was made we were told it had been made the day before, so it was not fresh. Both dishes had to be sent back. They returned with the salmon being hot enough but the lasagna was barely warm. In exchange for food that was sub-par, we were only offered a free glass of house chianti. The food quality did not match the $90 bill. We were looking forward to this restaurant experience and unfortunately we will not be returning, as it did not live up to our expectations. read more

We have eaten here twice and the food and service have been great both times!! Also, I don't know why this place is marked as having no outdoor seating - they have six or eight two tops outside on the sidewalk and both times we've eaten there it has been on a warm summer evening and we have enjoyed the food, wine, service and wonderful weather. Not good - starting with lack of ambiance. There was no warmth in their decor - no customized painting and instead cheap wall decor that was probably gotten at a discount store such as Ross, (hey, I've gotten some cool things there - but this restaurant chose poorly). It was a Friday evening and there was no warm welcome and in fact, I don't even think there was an Italian that worked there - on the floor or in the kitchen, (which is open for all to see that there was not an Italian at the lead or following). Moving on to appetizer - smoked salmon bruschetta with mascarpone - whoops, chefs forgot to put the mascarpone on - I had to request it and put it on myself. We went with pasta. My husband had housemade meatballs and spaghetti - he liked it. I had gnocchi with red sauce - I requested some cream be added to it. The sauce was the right color...but too liquified and very salty. My house Italian wine was fine and the pour was big. Our server tripped over his words and was not very polished. All staff on the floor were male and dressed in black, which I liked. The chefs were in coats and wore gloves, which also was nice. Unfortunately there also was no warm goodbye either. We tried to like the place....but we really don't. read more

It was made to order exactly how I like it and was absolutely amazing. The guys who were with me also loved their dishes and all in all this is one of the best Italian restaurants I've been at. Now, lunch service is marginally better than dinner but it's a bit pricey. Dinner is too expensive for what you get. Last time I was there the carbonara was like a plate of glue. 10/26/19 made a reservation for later that night not knowing what to expect but that it had 4.5 stars. We came in at the reservation time that I scheduled and they took us pretty much immediately to a table. It wasn't the best lit table my shadow kept getting in the way of the menu while trying to order but it was not that big of a deal. We then ordered our food shortly after being seated and within minutes we already had our food hot and probably the BEST tortellini I have ever had! I took the Italian-food-loving significant other here for his birthday dinner. It's one of those places you drive past and think "ooh, that looks like a good place to try!". Well, I made the reservation a week early for a Saturday night, and off we went. He had the tortellini in proscuitto sauce and I had the cannelloni. Both were DELICIOUS. They were both extremely rich and almost decadent. The chicken, veal, and mushrooms blend in the cannelloni was to die for. So why only 3 stars? Service was practically nonexistent. Prices were much, much too high for even food as tasty as that. The place felt... pretentious. The entire atmosphere was rather snotty. We made the best of it, however, and we enjoyed the food. This little gem, walking distance from my apt in Bellevue, is one of my favorite restaurants in Bellevue. I don't what it is about genuine Italian restaurants but the real Italian restaurants are so romantic. Very different from Macchianos or Palominos.. don't get me wrong, those places are delicious but not genuine Italian. I mean what real Italian place doesn't have tortellini?? Those places don't, Andiamo's does.. I ordered the Tortellini and my fiance ordered the lasagna. His was good, but nothing compared to the tortellini! It was soooooo delicious and the sauce was soooo good I could't stop dipping my bread in it! Not many places have panna cotta either. They do, and its soooo good. They also have creme brulee, and just an overall really well put together menu with many many options. The real candle light setting was soooo nice and the server with the accent was a nice touch. My only qualm is they are a little bit more fancy and expensive than they should be. Had a good lunch going with Gorgonzola and walnut pasta. Portion was about right and service was good, but there was no one else there. The pasta was light, and homemade filled with Gorg goodness. I also like the addition of nuts to most any meal. I live above a nut bar, so it comes with the territory. The meal itself was $20, but we had some card and it was a little better. Still pricey... I think the service was pretty good considering we made a 2 hour meal out of about a standard 20min meal. They were kind enough to offer coffee while we talked shop and not really bother us. I am a fan of this place. I found it because it was on the passport card. The dinners are pricey for pasta but my favorite is the white sauce pasta with prawns. So every year I throw a client party for my clients who have bought a house from me and the last couple of years we have had the party at andiamos. Reyees the owner shuts down the whole restaurant for my client appreciation party. And we have an appetizer, salad, three different courses and desert. And she even will set up a bar. With all the food and the booze. It is one of the best places I have found to have a private party. It is nice and cozy and everything is taken care of for you. My clients have raved about the food that they serve and they were happy i did it again this year there. There is something there for everyone. read more

We went out to Andiamo for our 3rd anniversary and we were really wanting a special night. Andiamo delivered! I will admit I was a little worried when I entered the restaurant. The place was full (which is usually a good sign) and the only table left in the restaurant was next to a larger group with kids. Usually I would not be such a high maintenance customer, but it was our anniversary, so I kindly asked the server if we could wait for the next available table. They obliged and we were seated at a great little spot in the back with nice mood lighting. The service was superb (the waiter even showed me the trick for get the wax off the bottle of wine we brought). The restaurant offers a corkage fee for $20, which was worth it for us! For dinner I enjoyed a delightful wild mushroom ravioli and my husband had a HUGE steak paired with gnocchi with a Gorgonzola sauce. Both pastas were homemade. The food was absolutely delicious! Andiamo was a great experience for us. The restaurant is intimate and comfortable, easily found in downtown Bellevue. Our waiter, Donato, was attentive without being intrusive and was very personable. I went with the Veal Saltimbocca. Good choice, if I do say so myself. Excellent flavor and the portion was perfect. We have eaten at Andiamos a number of times and the food has always been very good. We decided to go there for New Years Eve dinner with some friends. The food was very good but we were rushed through our dinner which is what we have experienced the 3 or 4 other times we have eaten there. Our waiter was a bit of a smart ass and jokingly tried to move us along explaining that the lights would be turned up when they wanted everyone out. By about 9:30, we were one of two tables occupied in the restaurant and apparently the staff had other parties to attend as we were made to feel quite uncomfortable about staying any longer. The restaurant is small and could be cozy but in the winter it is always cold especially next to the windows. When we mentioned it to the waiter his response was to drink more wine to warm up. Apparently, even though the two women at our table had their coats on for the entire meal, it was not reason enough to turn up the heat or to make modifications to the front door to keep the cold out. We have decided that we will not be returning to Andiamo which is sad because we do enjoy the food. read more
