Ravioli Lobster Rose Butter. Soo delicious!
    Morris H.

You will not find better tasting authentic Italian cuisine anywhere! I am in Kirkland visiting from San Diego and with as many times I have come to Seattle and surrounding areas I am so mad that I am just finding out about Rimini. I have another trip planned for Bothell and I will make Rimini my first stop The food was amazing. I never thought that I would like lobster ravioli, but when I tried this dish I was blown away. I couldn't get enough. The ravioli was so fresh and the flavor of lobster was amazing. Then the fettuccini in tomato cream sauce with the lobster tail was so delicious and filling. The staff here is so awesome. We were treated warmly by Hernandez (the name on his card is Ferdinando), but none-the-less we was very cool. It was my friend's birthday so she was serenaded by Uncle Tony. Our server Nicole was awesome and very attentive. All of the staff made sure that we were well taken care of. Rimini, thank you for an incredible dining experience

We really wanted to like this place, especially since the singer who stopped at every table to sing a full song was so endearing, but the food was meh. The seafood pasta was unevenly cooked (some were extra hard and others soft), the calamari sauce lacked flavor, the branzino fish was kind of dry, and the bread was hard. Our favorite was the arugula salad with figs. Unfortunately, I couldn't recommend this place. (Not to mention, we had a friend in the hospital that was supposed to join us and when we asked if we could keep that seat open in case she could make it, they said they'd have to charge us if she didn't show.)

I came here on a Sunday Evening. This is a cute Italian spot located in downtown Kirkland. We got a few drinks and a Caprese appetizer to start. The lobster ravioli could have been more flavorful. The Carbonara is excellent. Overall the portions for the entrees are gigantic! There is a musician walking around with a guitar that will serenade you with songs! The interior is casual and there was a kid next to us watching cartoons on a phone, lol. The service staff are super nice :)

We got the Paccheri di Mare (4.75/5) and Fritto Misto di Mare (5/5). Both were outstanding with massive portions, tons of seafood, and light, flavorful sauces! We usually eat a ton of food and rarely have leftovers, but we did this time. The Paccheri di Mare's tomato sauce was the first time I've had capers in a red sauce, but it worked well! Similarly, I've never had something fried in pasta before, but the shrimp and calamari added a nice crunch to the pasta! The ambiance is very nice (5/5)! The interior of the restaurant is fancy, and it has a small intimate feel as there is a smaller front and back section. The live guitarist and singer is a unique touch; he is pretty good and visits each table to take requests! The service was amazing (5/5)! We were well attended too, our waters were never empty for more than a few minutes, and everyone was friendly. On our way out, we missed the host, so we quickly caught us outside to give us chocolate and ask how our experience was!

I am so OBSESSED with Rimini! I was taking here for my birthday on a Friday night and it was so incredibly lively. It felt like I was part of one big family while I was dying here from the quality of the food, to the generous portions, and don't even get me started on the live music. We did group songs with the entire restaurant, every table got individually serenaded once, and I even got the happy birthday song too! The pasta is delicious and there is so much of it. The appetizer was hearty too and the servers took great care of us. It felt romantic with my boyfriend but somehow even more romantic with everyone who was thrilled to be there working the dinner service. Their family is wonderful and it feels like you leave with many friends. I will be back! Thank you for the chocolate on the way out as well!

Great birthday celebration. They sang song and gave a mini fire work to my husband's birthday cake for his birthday. We sat outdoor because they said that their seats are first come first serve. We did expect a better seat inside. We ordered a Fig Salad, Seafood Pasta and Mushroom Raviolis. They offered gluten and diary free menu options. The Seafood clams were a bit sandy, and seafood did not really taste very impressive. Pasta was shedded, did not know was that done on purpose or overly cooked. They accommodated our birthday cake, stored and served for us, very hospitable services. We are glad for the services.

Dark interiors with cozy, intimate vibes--perfect for a relaxed date night. We started with excellent bread and a lovely selection of Italian wines. The pistachio mafaldine was outstanding: nutty, creamy, and perfectly balanced. We also asked for a spicy arrabbiata (not on the menu), and they happily made it--packed with sun-dried tomatoes and a beautiful kick from the peppers. The chocolate bomba was a full tableside show and such a fun ending. Service was warm and attentive, and the live guitarist who stops by each table to sing makes the experience feel extra special. A wonderful evening with great pasta, good wine, and an easy, romantic atmosphere. Everything else aside, the uneven welcome at the door stood out -- some guests while waiting for a table were offered prosecco, others weren't.

Loved the vibe and the music (what a beautiful voice the gentleman had). My favorite dishes were the appetizer meat ball, the truffle cheese, and the pistachio pesto pasta. The group's favorite was the ravioli. I loved the tiramisu as well - big thank you for the free dessert as a birthday courtesy If I have to pick a bone, I was honestly disappointed by the carbonara and the wild boar bolognese. The flavors felt kinda flat. Thank you again for the amazing time!

There's honestly nothing like this atmosphere anywhere in Washington that I've come across. Rimini, right on Lake Washington Boulevard in downtown Kirkland, is an absolute gem with an unbeatable location. Owned and run by Italians, this place delivers a true Italian experience from the moment you walk in. We felt genuinely welcomed--more like stepping into someone's home than going out to dinner. The vibe is incredible. Minimalistic décor with black walls, framed photos everywhere, and classic mob-style movie clips (think Scarface) playing on a screen--it's effortlessly cool without trying too hard. There's also a fantastic guy walking around with a guitar who will literally sing anything you ask for, which adds such a fun, lively energy to the night. We scored an amazing window table and spent the evening watching the world go by--such a perfect way to enjoy the space. The service was outstanding: warm, attentive, and not pretentious at all. It truly felt like being welcomed into a family. Now, the food. Unreal. Flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with love. I had the Sunday Sauce pasta with beef sausage, pulled pork, and short rib--holy hell, it was divine. Comforting, rich, and perfectly balanced. And don't even get me started on the birthday sundae... absolutely insane and delicious. So fun. Rimini is the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit. A beautiful location, incredible food, soulful atmosphere, and genuine hospitality--this place is something special.

This is a lovely authentic Italian restaurant in the heart of downtown Kirkland. They are only about a year old so I hadn't realized they moved in, until we decided to try it for my birthday dinner. I'm so glad we chose this spot! The restaurant has a small shopfront on Lake, and then goes back all the way to the other side of the street, facing the water. It is very cozy and the warm family vibes are really felt from the time you enter to the time you leave. It really felt like when I'm with my Italian extended in-laws around the holidays. We started with a bottle of Montepulciano to go with the arugula salad and eggplant parmigiani - both were delicious! Next we were entertained by lively accordion music and singing before our dinner arrived. For dinner I had the cioppino and my friend had the ziti. The flavors were savory and filling - and portions were enough to warrant leftovers! We finished the meal with the homemade cannoli and Nutella cheesecake, which they topped with a large sparkling candle (accompanied by beautiful singing!) Everything made me smile from ear to ear. We had a wonderful evening here thanks to the welcoming team of folks working here and the warm and inviting space. The only thing that wasnt absolutely perfect was the Montepulciano that we chose - it gave me a headache before we even left the restaurant. Next time I will go for a different rosso.

We had dinner at Rimini Restaurant on Friday, December 12, 2025, around 8:30 PM, to celebrate our friends birthday and honestly... WOW this was one of those nights where everything came together perfectly. From the moment we walked in , the restaurant was completely packed not even room for a drop yet the staff was still on point the entire time . Our server kept checking on us, making sure we were happy, and recommending their most popular and must-try dishes . We never felt rushed, forgotten, or overlooked, even with how busy it was. Huge shoutout to the staff for being incredible with our 2 1/2-year-old nephew . They were so kind, patient, and playful, keeping him entertained and smiling which made the whole experience even more enjoyable for our family. Not every place does that, and it really meant a lot to us . The live music was a HIT lively, fun, and added so much energy to the room. It truly made the night feel special and memorable. The décor was beautiful too cozy, elegant, and very Italian , with a warm and welcoming vibe. What we ordered (and loved every single bite ): * Prawns & Calamari Fritti * Bruschetta Tomatoes * Pollo Porcini Marsala con Sacchetti * Gnocchi Pesto (no prosciutto) * Lamb Shank San Marzano * White Chocolate Tiramisu * Chocolate & Vanilla Gelato * Mojito , Mocktail , and Coke The food portions were HUGE and everything came out piping hot exactly how it should be. The flavors were rich, comforting, and perfectly cooked. You can tell a lot of care goes into every dish . The drinks were also fantastic refreshing, well-balanced, and very enjoyable. And let's talk about the tiramisu ... OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD. One of the best tiramisus we've ever had light, creamy, rich, and absolutely unforgettable . A must-order, no question. A 20% gratuity was included, and honestly, it was 100% deserved . With the level of service, food quality, live music, and overall experience, the bill felt very reasonable. Parking can be a little tricky with mostly 2-hour street parking , so plan ahead. And reservations are a MUST this place fills up fast for a reason. Overall: Amazing food , outstanding service , great live music , family-friendly staff ‍‍, and a lively, beautiful atmosphere . Rimini is an absolute must-try experience, and we'll definitely be back again and again

They do have a good wine list, but the pricing is HIGH. Think $25-$45 PER GLASS. Some of the wines this made sense for, but they really should consider adding a wine or two below $25 per glass. I have my WSET 2 and know a decent amount about wines so could understand why some of them were priced like this, but the whole menu being this high was strange. $32 for a glass of pinot noir didn't sit right with me. We asked to do flights so we could try a few things, but they said they were only doing glass pours. We asked for a rec for an acidic, fruity red and felt like the gal just told us the most expensive non-tannic red on the menu. Fine. For $32 a glass, I would not order what I got again. We headed to a restaurant after and got $14 glass pours that we preferred. This is a great place to go to impress someone with the chic vibes, but good wine can be found elsewhere at a fraction of the price. I do see the appeal though. We made a reservation for a Thursday dinner for our anniversary a few weeks in advance as we have done times before. When the hostess goes to seat us, we were brought to the table that you would only want if it was the last table available (no view, in the middle of the walking area, by the doors back to kitchen, no vibe, all hassle) we politely ask to move up to one of the several two tops available at the front (it was not that busy of a night) We sit. We wait. We wait. We finish the entire carafe of water. We wait. Finally our server comes to ask us for our cocktail order (30 minutes after sitting, we were on the cusp of walking out). Our cocktails take a while, which again is odd since it is not a packed house. Not once does she come to check in. Another 25 minutes passes and our waitress finally comes over and says our drinks should be there soon, and finally asked if we wanted to order an app, we did. 35 minutes after our first drink order, cocktails finally arrive. They were good. Fun James Bond theme to the list. We finished both cocktails and two appetizers. Our entire table was cleared by the busman and so we continued to admire the scenery before our waitress remembered we existed and came around to ask our order for entrees (We sat with no drinks and no apps for a very long time. The table next to us even commented on how long our service and their service was taking having noticed us sitting there with a cleared table). From order time of the main course until our food arrived - maybe another 25-30 minutes. When our food came, we were expectedly hungry and just perplexed from the experience. Food was good. Prices went up due to the economy. That's fine. It is expected these days. Again our table is cleared, our waitress again remembers we exist - drops off a dessert menu unenthusiastically. Walks away. We definitely didn't want to have to wait for dessert at this point. We let her know just the check would be fine when she comes back around and she changes to be especially bubbly, friendly and enthusiastic for the first time all evening - minutes before dropping off the check which had a surprise of 3% service surcharge. Didn't say what the service charge was for. Didn't mention it inside the menu. We later found out by looking online that it is listed in small print on the bottom of the back - it's for the option to use credit card and you are charged this before you put down a card or cash. You are then taxed at the 10%+ sales tax for this added surprise charge. People in our party often pay or split in cash- this is improper. All to conclude with minimum suggested tip at 20%. You wouldn't accept this service at a pub, a dive bar, or a proper fine dining restaurant - you shouldn't accept it at what this place has become. This was our first date night in while and a special celebration for our wedding anniversary and it truly affected the evening and made us feel like we had wasted our time and our money that could have been better spent elsewhere. We wish we had walked out after the first 30 minutes of waiting to place a drink order. Save your money, you'll get better service at most anywhere else (we skipped the affogato and tiramisu we usually order and went for dessert at Burgermaster instead) That efficient and friendly busman was oddly the highlight of the night and the saving grace from this being a one star experience. Cheers.
