The restaurant is tiny, with only a handful of indoor seats and a small patio outside. We stopped by for an early dinner around 5:30 PM and still waited about 15 minutes for a table. By the time our food arrived, there was already a line forming. If you're planning to dine in, I'd recommend coming early or ordering takeout. We ordered the Mixed Grilled Platter (40 CAD) because we wanted to sample a little bit of everything, and it was an incredible value. It easily fed two people, and every type of meat was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The biggest surprise? The French fries. They were ridiculously crispy and ended up stealing the show. I honestly wish we had ordered an extra side. The pita was also warm, soft, and delicious. I just wish they had included a bit more of it. To top it all off, they brought us a complimentary dessert, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made an already great experience even better. This is absolutely a place I'd recommend if you're visiting Gastown, and it's definitely somewhere I'd come back to!

The lentil salad also exceeded my expectations - there was a substantial serving of lentils and lots of dill to give it a fresh herby flavour. The squid fro what I could tell (I don't eat squid very often at all) was also well-prepared, very tender and, like everything else, flavourful. Prices are not cheap but their portions are very generous. I appreciated the big vegetarian/vegan section of the menu! They even have vegan feta available as a feta substitute for the salads, so all of the vegetarian dishes except the spanakopita are or can be veganized.
