I've known Sonny for a couple of years now and can say without hesitation that, when it comes to clothing and dry cleaning, NO ONE does a better job than he does. He is extremely detail-oriented, knowledgeable and honest. He's also been practicing his craft long enough that he knows the best specialty people for the things he doesn't do himself, so you can be confident the job -- whether cleaning, repair or alteration - will be done RIGHT. He's not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. And it takes a little effort to get to his shop on the north side of Southcenter, in the shoe repair shop next to Macy's, but it is worth it. read more

I went here to get my blazer altered because the arms needs to be shorten and also the length of the blazer. When I received the jacket the length of the whole blazer was off from the left side to the right side and needs to be redone (was fixed a couple days after). Then I noticed how they did a terrible job resewing the buttons back because I had to get the arms shorten (the tailor needs to move the buttons up for the arms to make the blazer more consistent). The arm length for both sides was good after the alteration, but what I also got was a half assed stitching inside the lining with one of the arms having a hole. When I slide my arms into the sleeves my arms goes inside the lining instead of going out of the arm hole. I paid around $60-70 for this, and I received more problems. read more

I couldn't even get to the actual service portion of this business. The initial phone call was enough. I called and my phone dropped the call because I was in a bad area. I called right back and someone answered silently. I said hello several times before he spoke. Usually businesses answer with a greeting including the business name so that you know you have the right number. Not this person. After my second or third hello I was asked "who is this?" I told him I was looking for the dry cleaners and asked if I had the right number (as he was answering the phone with the flare of a criminal hiding from the FBI). He said yes. I asked if he did alterations on leather. He said no and nothing more. I hung up. WTF. Sad because other ppl seem to have had a good experience with this place but mine was a 0 before I even got started. read more

SONNY IS AWESOME!!! With all of his experience and knowledge he knows the best way to properly clean and maintain your clothes. Took him a jacket with a run in it that I snagged on a hook. I thought it couldn't be saved, but he was able to fix it. I would not take my clothes anywhere else! read more

My first reaction to sonny was that he was helpful, knew what I wanted done and i trusted his judgement until he told me I needed to lose weight because he couldnt loosen the waistline from my jumpsuit. Taken back, I thought it was all a joke until I picked my finished pieces and told me again he could not do anything more with the jumpsuit and that my other option is to lose more weight. I dropped off one 2 piece suit and blazer for cleaning and also needed sewing repair for my pants. When came to pick up my items 5 days later, they forgot to repair my pants and asked me to wait 20 mins. I waited and they disappeared for 40 mins. I am not even sure my suit was cleaned. I had an older suit dry cleaned and not only did it come back perfectly cleaned and pressed but also a hem stitch was repaired/replaced, no extra charge and I didn't even ask or point it out. I was swayed by some of the previous reviews, so I gave the place a try because it is close to where I work. I needed to have the zipper replaced on a favorite pair of pants. Sonny is hard to catch at the location, so it took several attempts to actually phone ahead and meet him there (he says 20 minutes but means closer to 30 like another reviewer said). Same was true when I went to retrieve the garment. Immediately I saw that the repair job was shoddy (thread instantly came loose at the bottom of the zipper so it needed to be re-done). I brought it back into the store from the parking lot and then waited another week. I've worn it 2 or 3 times since, and now I've noticed a huge gap on the side of the zipper where it was once sewn into the pants. I'll try to sew it myself at this point. $25 for crap service. Avoid!!! read more
