This was a meaningful, one-time event with personal memories as well as moments I intended to capture for my business. I remained extremely understanding and willing to work with her. When it came to receiving the photographs afterward, I made it clear that I was not trying to rush her and that I was willing to be patient with the editing and delivery process. I genuinely tried to give her the time and flexibility she needed. What I did not expect was for that patience to turn into months of waiting, repeated unanswered messages, and ultimately a dispute over photographs that I believed were still missing. As the screenshots attached to this review show, I repeatedly reached out attempting to resolve the situation directly and professionally. There were extended periods when my messages went unanswered. When I continued asking about the missing photographs, I was eventually told that the photos had already been included in the gallery. That did not match what I had actually received or what I had been seeing in the gallery while waiting. This was especially frustrating because I gave her multiple opportunities to simply communicate with me and resolve the issue. I was not demanding an unreasonable turnaround time, nor was I expecting perfection. I wanted the photographs and services I believed I had paid for and straightforward communication about what was happening. After months of trying to resolve this directly, I ultimately requested a refund because I no longer felt the situation was being handled appropriately. Unfortunately, we were unable to reach a resolution. I am attaching screenshots of our actual communication so prospective clients can see the timeline and interaction for themselves rather than simply taking my word for it. As a small-business owner myself, I completely understand that delays, mistakes, and unexpected circumstances happen. What matters is how a business communicates with its customers and responds when there is a problem. I was more than willing to be patient and work with her, and I gave her considerable time and multiple opportunities to make this right. Between the months-long process, the lack of consistent communication, and the way my concerns regarding the missing photographs were ultimately handled, I would not use Lane Focus LLC again or recommend her services. What makes the experience particularly disappointing is that this was both a birthday celebration and a small-business event. These were moments that cannot simply be recreated later because the photographs weren't delivered as expected. I strongly encourage anyone considering booking to get the exact deliverables, expected turnaround time, and other expectations in writing and to keep copies of all communication.

I have had them out for 3 events now…read more 2020 - Our little covid wedding - Stacey came out and dj'd our wedding that night - she was an absolute rockstar and made our event epic as well as coming out to help bustle my dress before our entrance as we couldn't figure out how to do it 2021- Our Big wedding - Floyd was our DJ and when the venue failed to have a plan for power or a way to source power which we didn't find out until the day of the event like an hour before- he jumped in with a plan to run home grab a generator and keep our event rolling (as the bride I never knew till after) Last night we once again had DJ Flo out for an epic time at my mother in laws 60th Bday and once again they knocked it out of the park. I wanted a disco ball for a 70s themed event however the venue didn't allow anything attached to the ceiling so he built a stand that would hold a disco ball just so we could have it for our event. Not only that when he could see our server could use extra help with the buffet line he hoped in and put on gloves and started serving food while keeping the music going. Floyd was also epic with making sure the music fit the theme with just a list of what my mother-in-law liked he curated a whole play list and made sure that the party was epic all night long. If you want your event to be epic and hire a DJ Service that goes above and beyond, they are the only one to call.
