If I could give Andres bustillo 0 star I would. I refuse to refer to him as doctor anything. He says on his website that he will say leave your nose alone or you don't need a facelift something of that sort. He is completely full of it. He drilled a hole in my septum that makes it more difficult for me to breathe and quite frankly has ruined my life. I would not recommend plastic surgery to anyone what it is simply is body dysmorphic disorder that if you get good family support and a good therapist in 3-6 months I'm sure you won't want it at all. These surgeons take a scalpel to a mental health problems simply put. My Father was a doctor and assisted in some plastic surgery procedures at Baptist hospital and what some doctors do during procedures would shock anyone. Stay far away from plastic surgery but most of all this person. I honestly could care less if he sues me. I hope this helps a person not end up in the same situation I'm in currently. Also he can keep the money I paid it has nothing to do with that I have never asked for him to refund me and don't plan to either. read more

The worst! I'm beyond disappointed with the experience I had with this practice. First of all, I was given one price and charged a completely different price at the end of my visit. Also, this doctor has no people skills whatsoever and won't listen to any of your concerns and needs! He rushes through the appointment & does whatever he wants without any regards to what you tell him you need. Botox didn't even last me a month!! It's completely GONE and I paid 1500$! Called yesterday to get information on a consultation to get a mole removed. The receptionist asked me to send a photo to see if it's something the doctor would do and she would get right back to me. I never heard back from her so I had to call and follow up which is already a bad sign. Once I got her on the phone she told me I still had to come in for a consultation but yes he could remove it. I was then told the consultation fee is $100. They charge the same consultation fee no matter what kind of work you're getting done so I am paying the same fee as someone going in for a consult for major plastic surgery. That makes no sense. A photo should have been enough to at least give me a ballpark idea on the cost to remove it but why do that when they can make you come in and charge you $100.Also they wouldn't even be able to see me for three months. There are many other plastic surgeons out there with reasonable office policies so I will be going elsewhere. read more

I had a lower facelift with Dr. Bustillo about 6 months ago. I am so happy with my results, that I have to share my experience. During the consultation, he discusses problem areas he wants to address and points out problems he may not be able to change much - in other words, he makes sure his patients have realistic expectations about their outcome. He is very unassuming and has a quiet demeanor that make you know he is the one to trust with your face. He undersells his skills as a surgeon and has outstanding surgical outcomes - his scars are extremely well-hidden and he does not distort your natural features. Take a look, as it sets the tone for what you'll find in his practice. Quietly elegant without being ostentatious, the feeling throughout my visits with Dr. Bustillo both in his office as well as at an adjacent surgery center, were polished, professional and considerate, constantly putting me at ease. He and his entire staff are impeccably detailed and ultimately accommodating. During my initial consultation, Dr. Bustillo asked questions about what I wanted, what sort of results I envisioned, and only after explaining options did he offer an opinion about what he thought would best suit me. All decisions were mine, of course, and I made choices about procedures as a well-informed patient based on his extensive education in that first visit. To paraphrase him: 'You tell me what you think, then I'll tell you what I think, then you tell me what you think about what I think'. In fact, what he thought would benefit me was considerably less aggressive than what I'd proposed. He told me that it was too soon and he would talk to me about it in 2 or 3 years. I am a 50 year old woman and felt like I was looking very tired all of the time, with a lot of little concerns that other people said weren't a big deal, but I wanted to see if they could be improved FOR ME. I have a home in Tampa area and in Bev Hills so I researched ALL OVER for a doctor for months. i wanted someone with lots of photos (with hair behind ears - no cheating!), board certified, who only did faces. That research paid off! I had a facelift, necklift, browlift (endoscopic), chem peel, a little fat transfer into those pesky nasolabial folds, and under eye work. (blepha-whatever). I LOVE LOVE LOVE my results!! I still look like myself, just refreshed. The bags and dark circles under my eyes are gone, and even the little crinkly skin under there is gone. I can go without concealer for the first time in 10 years. My nasolabial folds look better (not perfect, but Dr Bustillo was very clear that those are not fixed with facelift; only improved with facelift and filler), my neckline is PERFECT (mini-turkey waddle is GONE!). Zero visible scars, though under chin scar is still healing. My eyebrows are higher and well-shaped, so my eyes are more open and brighter. Just really, really happy all around. The browlift and the necklift was quite painful for several days for me. Hardly any pain at all for the facelift, lower eye work, chem peel or fillers. My ears are still a little sore to sleep on (8 weeks out), but not bad. He's almost twice as expensive as some doctors on the west coast of FL, but less than 1/2 the cost of having this done in LA (and his results are FAR more natural looking!), so I'd say he's worth every penny. Before my appointment, I made sure to research the reviews on Dr. Bustillo. He came highly recommended from another physician and the reviews were all stellar. Yes, Dr. Bustillo is very professional, calm, cool and empathetic. Unfortunately, though, the wonderful "bedside manner" exhibited in the pre-operative appointments and raved about in the reviews, ended with the procedure. The subsequent appointments consisted of him basically running out of the room before you could even ask a question - always rushing. The difference was quite stunning. My procedure was a HUGE disappointment and Dr. Bustillo's reasons or explanations were almost cavalier. This seriously upset me as this wasn't a procedure you just merrily go in again to correct! My recommendation would be to carefully study his photo albums of the before/after pictures. Especially take note of whatever procedure he is particularly proud of and trust your instincts and eyes.
