I don't think he means to be harmful but I find it alarming that he is treating first time female clients this way. I told him to stop and it was too much. I told him he was torturing me and he said he knew he was torturing me but it was necessary. I cried multiple times and said it hurt and told him it felt like something was going to tear. He said, "ha, you know how much it strength it would take to tear?" as if to dismiss my pain and what I was feeling. I felt helpless. He was not listening to me. I was struggling to get my arm back into a less painful position and he held it down, not permitting me to move and kept saying, no no no it's ok....relax. He justified the pain and said I needed it. I can actually take a lot of pain. I've had several bodyworkers tell me I can handle a lot, and that I can handle pressure that makes grown men cry... But this man working on my injured shoulder was something else. I never experienced torture before. This was the closest feeling to torture that I have ever been through. When he worked on my neck it freaked me out because he would be working on my arm then quite suddenly wring his hands around my neck, putting intense pressure on it. It was almost as if he was getting a kick out of startling me and making me feel like he was going to choke me. There is NO reason to so abruptly wring your hands around someone's neck like that. This is not normal people. He is not normal. As noted by the previous reviewer, Molly, he kept telling me I was a strong, independent woman. In addition, he told me I was a disgrace regarding certain topics he wanted to discuss, topics completely irrelevant to body work. 60-something reviews is not a lot and can't be trusted.
