I first went to Eli because I was wanting a lymphatic drainage massage. During the session she was able to find many of my tense spots without me even telling her. Eli is an incredible masseuse! I came to them extremely stiff, immobilized and in pain. After just one session I felt a million times better. Since leaving behind my days of college athletics, I've done many cycles of: visit ortho, get prescribed PT, do PT, feel better for a while, and repeat. It wasn't that the diagnoses wrong or treatments were bad, I think that I was stuck in a loop with the same assumptions and conclusions. Often those treatments came with massage "therapy" sessions, but I didn't find any great benefit. After my wife came home raving about Eli, I decided to go for myself. It was a REVELATION: her genuine interest in improving my overall health drove her to the root causes -- rather than just the symptoms -- of my chronic issues. Joints, muscles, tendons and ligaments, lymphatics, nerves...Eli worked with me to identify exactly what was going on and progressively worked to reduce my pain and increase my mobility. She was able to mix and match different treatments (cupping, taping, scraping tools, etc) in certain painful/tight areas, but would never assume something would always be helpful simply because it worked the prior visit. Outside of session, she had helpful suggestions to maintain improved health: everything from easy home stretches to a unique desk "chair" that helped me relieve pressure on my low back while sitting comfortably. I couldn't recommend her highly enough (this five-star review hardly seems adequate as a measure of the pain relief I've experienced thanks to Eli)! read more

Eli is an incredible masseuse. I came to her for post-op surgical massage after my liposuction procedure. I was incredibly swollen and in a a lot of pain, but I booked her with great faith that she would be able to help me with the lymphatic massages I needed to minimize swelling. I am so happy I called her! From the first day I met her, she was kind and incredibly knowledgeable. She was able to start gently and increase pressure as I healed. I've had one of my best deep tissue massages ever with Eli. She visited me at my condo for the first time on Mother's Day. I had not received a massage in several months so my body was tight and up in knots. She came in set up her table with heating pad and took all the stress from my neck, shoulders and legs. Unlike other therapists who take a while to get to know your body, she understood right away what I needed. There was tension throughout the back and sides of my neck. She zeroed in on this immediately and brought me so much relief. Also, I wanted my massage on my balcony and she made it happen. It was seemingly an unusual request but she made it work and I enjoyed hearing the birds chirp while I was getting my knots worked out. Eli has a firm touch but can go even deeper and harder. Again, I've had therapists who really have to work to go deep. For Eli, deep is easily her first gear. She took photos for me so I could share my experience and she brought me Mother's Day flowers. Eli's massages are incredible! I started seeing her for lymphatic drainage after surgery- and I noticed a visible change in my body right after her massages. She made me feel really comfortable with her level of experience and how communicative she was, which is huge when you're feeling kind of wrecked and sensitive from surgery. One weekend, I tweaked my back and I went to see her for a deep tissue session and she completely worked it out as well. So far I've had deep tissue, lymphatic drainage and cupping with her- and every massage has been incredibly effective. You can tell the minute she puts her hands on you that she knows what she's doing- there's thought behind every stroke. You won't find her using a lot of her elbows or forearms - she's constantly working you with her hands in a really effective way. And her baseline pressure is strong, which I love- but she checks in and adjusts if you need more or less. Ive also ended one of her massages with Swedish and dozed off immediately. Everyone has a special gift - a talent that is meant for the betterment of humanity. And, while Eli has many strengths - her divine gift must be Massage. Imagine if Yoda did massage: within moments of being with you, he would know what was wrong. In fact, he would know things that were going on in your body that you probably didn't know about yourself. That's how it feels with Eli. I've met a lot of people who call themselves "healers" and "empaths" but Eli (pronounced like the guy's name - "Ee-Lie") is the first one (and by the way she doesn't call her self a "healer" or an "empath", thankfully) who lives up to the billing. Her hands gravitate toward places where I am unaware that there's a problem until she starts rubbing and then I realize "holy cow, this woman can feel things that I cannot feel for myself." [And then she knows what to do to help dissolve and dissipate the tension. Wow.] She is knowledgeable about so many modalities - one time you might come in and the massage table might be heated, another time she might do a gentle form of cupping... She also is versed in different streams of philosophy and spiritual psychology - but never in that airy-fairy, yoga-teacher-voice, woo-woo annoying way- And only if you happen to be talking about that stuff- and she's not going to lay one of those fake "diagnostic" trips on you where she asks if you're hanging out with toxic people or tells you to eat more root-vegetables. I hate to give this review, because her price will probably go up and she'll have less time for me. But, leaving her studio tonight with a spring in my step, beaming smile, feeling completely healed, cared for, and loved - I can't help but share the joy. Perhaps the best massage I've ever had in my life - a magical massage. I don't even know where to begin...this was the best massage experience I have ever had. Elizabeth is absolutely amazing and extremely knowledgable and talented. I came for a lymphatic drainage massage and it was my first time getting one so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was in a lot of pain coming in, and actually had to reschedule from the day prior because of how bad my pain was. As soon as she began, I felt instant relief!!
