This was the WORST massage, or any experience for that matter in my life. I came to my appointment with initial confusion on their part of where to lay me down, though there wasn't a single person there except me (the customer) and a man and a woman (I am assuming owners?). I got an hour massage, but honestly I was done after 5 minutes. INSANELY loud talking in their tongue from the man who was massaging me and the woman that was I am guessing supposed to work the front desk. Three different times he completely walked away mid massage to go talk to her, he was yelling (furiously) something to her as she was on the phone. I literally laid there with my eyes open showing him I was very very uncomfortable- only to have him continue talking and talking and taking. It was insane!!! Do these people not care about customers and keeping business? I should have walked away 5 minutes in. The massage itself was almost done by a non professional. I am curious if this man is even licensed. He lazily brushed his hands against me, and there was zero technique. Here is an even bigger kicker. When I got to paying, I really did not want to tip - but I figured I will tip $5 since not tipping feels wrong; but they didn't even deserve a penny - even for the massage itself, forget the tipping. When I gave this man $35 cash, he started mumbling something and pointing to credit card machine. I figured he wants me to pay I'm card and tip on cash so I said ok. After he used my card for now $31 ($1 fee I guess for cards) I gave him the $5, only to have him start yelling and write down $15 on a piece of paper!!!! Yes this man was demanding I tip him $15 for his crappy unprofessional job!!!! I told him that tipping is my choice and frankly he doesn't even deserve $1 and walked out. Unbefuckenlievable. Ok, lets talk about Tobacco smell on the masseuse's hands AND Lets talk about fingernails (ouch). Now, I like deep massages, but this was down right abusive, and my guy was grunting the whole time he "worked" on me. I asked him not to be so rough, and he acted like he didn't know what I was talking about. OK, be ready when you're paying. If you dont give them 35% tip (thought tip was optional) They will literally follow you to you car and proceed to scold you, waving dollar bills in your face. I just walked in and nobody greeted me so I waited for about 5 minutes assuming they were busy: I could hear people talking in the back so I asked a girl sitting down if I could get treated and she just shrugged me off. Nobody in the back said anything and I left. Good massage and I felt at moments I was going to be broken into pieces. One only comment is the price and how the customer service was at the end. I came in for a $20 foot massage for an hour. I did get more than just a foot massage that included basically a full body massage. When I went to pay I gave a tip that came with disagreement and was told I give a larger tip than I had thought was appropriate. The person there felt they needed a larger tip. So I would say they shouldn't put $20 for the massage when they will demand more even if it is a tip. Tips are a gesture of the service provided but is optional on the amount by the customer. This has to be the most dangerous place to go for a massage. First it is cash only. At least they tell you that. That means no records of your visit. Therefore if they damage you in any way they can simply say you were not there. Plus the place is dirty. The staff smells. I wonder how many of them are actually licensed to do this kind of work. I really hate to leave bad reviews, because I know people have to eat, but this experience really warrants it. I have had all kinds of massages, all over the country. This was hands down the worst massage I've ever gotten. My wife and I decided to check it out after dinner one evening. My wife opted for the combo ($35). Having just eaten, I decided to go for the straight foot massage ($20). That seemed to annoy the massage therapist right out of the gate, who seemed to be offended that I didn't opt for the Combo, but to be honest, I didn't think too much of it. The foot massage was fairly meh, but then he had me roll over and gave me a back massage as well -- which mostly consisted of him digging his elbow into the area around my spine. Straight up, I like strong pressure, but this was the most painful massage I have ever received. Nothing relaxing about it, nothing therapeutic about it. Just bad. My wife ended up with a similar experience. The massage therapist used way too much pressure, even after she asked him to lighten up. She was in pain all night and has been taking Advil all day. I paid for my wife and my massages at the same time. The massages were $55 and I added a $45 dollar tip -- and definitely got the sense that it was not appreciated. Bottom line is that they are right down the block from where I live, but I will never go back. Life is just too short. read more

My lukewarm experience here started right off the bat in a Porta Potty in the back parking lot because there was something wrong with their regular bathroom. I prepped for my massage by squatting in a random Porta Potty - not a great way to start "me time". The entire place felt unclean to me, and I've been to many $20 reflexology places and don't usually have issues with most of them. My masseuse was a sweet older woman who lacked technical skill. She used very little oil/lotion on my skin so the friction was uncomfortable. She used some painful strokes and weird pressure points, like digging into my ankle bones for 10 minutes. It was really not enjoyable and I ended up getting a massage at another location the day after. I would not recommend :( read more

I don't understand those who left a nasty comment about this place, obviously it's a cheap massage place, the workers may struggle with English, but they are very hard working. The guy that gave me a massage was a little too hard on me, but I called the owner and she was very nice about it and explained it to her worker, we worked it out right away. I came here after years of not getting a massage. I was so excited! I paid for The one hour "foot massage." The guy who massaged me was good at first. But soon he began using too much strength in his hands. I even thought it was a joke at first. I asked him to lighten his touch several time by using the words "softer please" . He never lightened up. I don't know if it was his lack of English proficiency or his lack of caring. After a while I was at an uncomfortable level of pain at every touch. In hindsight I should have ended my massage as soon as I felt that he was not responding to my repeated requests. When my 1 hour of slight torture finally came to an end it was time to pay for my torture session. My one hour massage cost $20. I handed my masseuse a $10 bill as a tip despite his level of service. To my shock he had the audacity to mock me along with another masseuse calling me cheap. He then began gesturing for me to give him more money. He also gestured at his back and shoulders as if to say he had worked extremely hard on me and so he deserve a lot more than what I was offering. I laughed off his Relentless request considering I had just endured and not enjoyed his" massage". Furthermore, I endured a very sore back for two days following the incident. I went to try once. It was a terrible place. I feel ashamed as a Chinese woman. Not only it is not clean, but also the people who work there are very unprofessional. I chose a male because I like deep pressure. He told me to choose the combo which I need to take my clothes off. I do this kind massage at "Massages Envy" all the time and they are very professional. I didn't think too much. But when he started with a little thin blanket to cover me, then his hands were going too far. He was trying to touch my private place all the time. Actually he did, I tried to adjust him. I thought his style was too open for me. And also his pressure was too hard. My body was hurting for days after I left. My boyfriend and I come here regularly ; once or twice a week . Everybody is so nice and the price is just so cheap . We both end up falling asleep sometimes . We only get foot massage here as we have our own massage therapist for full body massage elsewhere which we pay big bucks for that . This is not the place to go if you need a relaxing session. I originally came in for a one hour massage they convinced me to do one hour 20 minutes. During this time they switched the therapist on me and my therapist kept walking off my session in the middle of my massage, and finished 5 minutes early. I felt cheated of my time. So I was fine with the atmosphere and the location of the place but the masseuse was terrible, Lee. She kept texting and looking at her phone! Who the hell does that when you're with a client! Not ok. I think she's the manager since the other employees kept asking her questions and she kept getting distracted by something else, therefore not paying attention to my needs. Now her massage skills were meh. She did great on my scalp but when it came to my feet, she did the same thing over and over again without switching anything up or focusing on one space. She also wore gloves which were not soft and didn't allow her to notice if she had enough lotion! Imagine a latex glove rubbing over your skin with pressure without lotion! Ick! So Lee had to get up (again) and settle something at the counter (probably a tip thing according to other reviews) and Mimi stepped in! She was there for 5 MINUTES and I already enjoyed her massage WAY more than Lee's. She didn't use gloves which I loved and focused on sensitive areas that needed work! Brilliant! Went to get their advertised foot reflexology massage that was advertised at $19.99. It started wonderful with the masseuse gently caressing my hands, face, and feet so wonderfully. She then asked me to lay down on the table where everything went left. Some BIG MAN came elbows deep in my back, neck, spine, EVERYWHERE! I found myself yelling STOP when it was uncontrollably painful. He never, NEVER, used his hands not once. Then when it came to pay, they told me and my friend that we had to leave a $10 tip each! I'm really not pleased that I have to give this relatively new business a poor review. I stopped by at about 11AM and there is a man there who welcomes me but barely speaks a word of English. He points at the board and asks what I would like. I point to the one hour special. I'm OK with all this so far. Then he gets on the phone with someone who is probably the boss or the owner? I feel clueless as I just watching this all go down. Then he turn to me after the phone conversation and says we have no one to do my massage. Nothing conveyed about come back in an hour or whatever, just kind of like go away??? So I leave and I went to Chiva Massage on Overland Ave and got an amazing massage on their early bird special till 2 pm for $39. Yes it costs more but a quality massage is so well worth it. Tonight I had the opportunity to do my massage with Mike, he was awesome and really took care of a pain I had been having on my neck for the last week, now I feel fabulous and can move my head with ease. They are also very generous, although you invest $19.99 on a foot massage, they end up doing an outstanding full body massage that covers front and back with oils and warm towels. Few massages by women later, for firmer & hopefully better technique, got Jake; was ok. Then from a recommendation here, got Michael/Mike who (pet peeve: doesn't believe in trimming his nails, & reeks of tobacco, but this was the least of his problems), put his hand down front middle of shirt. Never had anyone 'massage' sternum before (it's a bone!) so indicated discomfort; he laughingly stopped. Next visit: he was the only guy, & given he had stopped, thought would be ok to try again. This was a mistake. Not only did he repeat above, but 1 step further: 'massaged' upper inner thigh (again, no professional masseuse goes there!), deliberately & repeatedly knocking against pubic bone, DESPITE my indication to stop! A pervert who DESERVES an undercover cop & all the consequences!! Finally the creep had the audacity to act dumb & not return $10 change, rudely muttering under his breath in his language throughout. The massage was nothing special at all. At one point I started to ask her to stop because I felt liKe she was just beating at my back with cold dry hands and it brought 0 relaxation to me. However I stayed and I will say it got a bit better as she continued. The massage was so cheap that I would've initially considered going back however my business was lost at the payment stage. I paid via a card and wanted to leave partial tip on the card and the rest with cash I had. When I told her to add 15% to my card and explained I wanted to give moRe in cash....she instantly got rude.
