Bait and Switch - We are not the first to get scammed by Taite Insuance. Our 22 year old son…read more(Keller High School, now at Texas Tech) was contacted by Bill and was told he could save him a ton of money on his car insurance. Our son (a part time cook at Sonic) who is always trying to save money took the bait. Bill came back with a price that was going to save him over $70 bucks a month - a big deal for him. Our son paid Bill the first month premium, got his proof of insurance card from Bill, then went on to cancel his previous insurance coverage. The following day Bill sends him an email saying that the price he gave our son was wrong and that in fact he is now going to need to pay even more than what he was paying previously. After quoting a price 3 times, cashing his check, issuing an insurance card, Bill had nerve to came back with a NEW price that was $20.00 more than what he was paying with his previous insurance company. Needless to say this was a total bait and switch!!! Our son had to go back to his old insurance company (who he had canceled) and they in turn used the opportunity to raise his rates as he was coming back with his tail between his legs. Then on top of it it took 2 1/2 weeks for Bill to return the money to our son. I have noticed from other reviews on Google this is not the first time Bill Taite Insurance has done this to people of our community. Stay away is my advice. BTW - can't wait to see what kind of BS response I get from this post from Bill.

So quite naturally when I became of age to get my driver's license and start driving, my parents of course added me to their existing policy. Recently I reviewed all my policies with my agent and before I met with him I made phone calls to get quotes from other companies...and that's when I realized you can't go wrong with Bill Tait at State Farm!!! Prices were outrageous with other companies (I.e. Allstate, Farmers, Geico, Progressive...etc. - - believe me, I checked them all) I want everyone to know it is not so much the company you go with, as it is the agent. I have always been very fortunate to have had an awesome State Farm Agent like Bill. Bill Tait in Southlake is what I would refer to as the real and true backbone of your insurance company. As with all first impressions, it is more than not, that impression we take with us and share with others. I've have been a State Farm customer for 25+ years and would never consider switching providers. This happened on 07/19/2026 around 3:15, and between 3:19pm at 9150 N Tarrant Pkwy,North Richland Hills,TX 76183.The biker drove away from the scene.That is a hit and run, by Texas, State law and it is against the law to hit a person and run away.I did call NRH Police Department and they came out and I pressed charges on the person if they ever find him.I was on the phone talking to 911 ,the person is a Caucasian man guessing about 20 or little older.The number on his motorbike On the windshield was 701. He had on all black biker clothes. He was wearing Motorcycle gloves with allies, steel protection balls on them.I could not get his license plate. State Fram Insurance tells me that it is not a hit and run. Vandalism because the person was mad when he did it. I have never in my life seen this person. I am 100% disabled American senior man. I have been in business with Mr Reeves since moving to Texas over three years ago. And while three…read moreyears isn't all that long, i do believe I've shown some loyalty as a customer. I've never been late on a payment, as i opted for automatic payments to receive the discount. Several times now I've been shocked by the amount debited to my account. When i call this office for an explanation there is always something such as "a multiple car discount was removed from your account" (which i haven't had multiple cars on my account for over two years, and this excuse has been used twice already when payments jumped drastically) or there's been an adjustment to your premium due to this reason or another. I've never been given a heads up there will be higher payments. I've been told several times that an initial higher payment was taken out, but the next few will be lower, only to be surprised again the following month. The only reason i haven't changed insurance companies yet is because i have enjoyed the coverage and i hate changing companies, as i prefer a long-standing business relationship. Unfortunately, Mr. Reeves seems to not care about this at all and offers no help and no understanding how some people live on a budget despite multiple attempts and pleas to have him provide a more stable payment routine. I am extremely disappointed with this business and it is not at all what i knew of state farm businesses in previous states I've lived in.
