The company has been good to us in the past.The problem I am having with State Farm is a very angry person on a motorbike rammed his tire into my back bumper of my 2011 CTS COUPE CADILLAC and broke the bumper. This happened on 07/19/2026 around 3:15, and between 3:19pm at 9150 N Tarrant Pkwy,North Richland Hills,TX 76183.The biker drove away from the scene.That is a hit and run, by Texas, State law and it is against the law to hit a person and run away.I did call NRH Police Department and they came out and I pressed charges on the person if they ever find him.I was on the phone talking to 911 ,the person is a Caucasian man guessing about 20 or little older.The number on his motorbike On the windshield was 701. He had on all black biker clothes. He was wearing Motorcycle gloves with allies, steel protection balls on them.I could not get his license plate. State Fram Insurance tells me that it is not a hit and run. Vandalism because the person was mad when he did it. I have never in my life seen this person. I am 100% disabled American senior man. The Insurance company want us to pay for thier policy ,but they are quick to be a professional bully to us and refuse to fix our vehicles. read more

I would stay far away from this Insurance agency if you're looking to get the best deal. I was sent incorrect information on my current policy, which ended up costing me a lot of money and for my new lower cost insurance company to be canceled due to their mistake. you would think as much as you pay for the agents could send over correct information. Never once did they own up to their mistake. I ended up canceling all my other policies with them and went with another State Farm office nearby. it was definitely a good decision! read more

I've worked with Elizabeth Walker for a few years now, and am so happy she manages my home and car insurance needs. She always makes problems feel smaller and makes everything understandable and simple. She almost always answers the phone, but if she doesn't, she totally calls you back right away. Elizabeth helped me when I leased a new car, bought a house, had a tree fall on my car, moved to Denver, rented out my house, moved back to Fort Worth... When I was in a little fender-bender I immediately called Elizabeth and asked her to please email me my latest car insurance information, since I had forgotten to put a renewed hard copy in my car (I know I'm sorry). Probably about change carriers. Over the last few years we've had multiple negative experiences leaving us feeling we'd have been better served to place funds into a emergency account where we KNOW we'd be able to use them versus with this company that takes our money and leaves us with no recourse if problems arise. Examples: (1) About 3-4 years ago someone made a left turn into my lane hitting my car. Despite his actions being defined as incorrect by state law & insurance-supported driving courses, NOTHING was done to protect me. Recourse would have only been taken by State Farm had I taken the risk of filing a claim on my own insurance and risked a hike in insurance rates, which was strongly likely since the damage was "just" several hundred dollars and not deemed worth their effort. (About $700 out of pocket). (2) Someone backed into my husbands truck at a drive through. After 16 YEARS & MULTIPLE CORRECTIONS the agent and company kept contacting ME about the problem b/c they didn't have the our contact info in order. Secondarily my husbands repairs were delayed, & WE were required to put in extra effort due to that mistake. (3) In the spring of this year I was in an accident where I was at fault. Though (to my knowledge) the company covered the other persons' repairs, my repairs were poorly done. When I received my car from the RECOMMENDED repair shop there was new and unrelated cosmetic damage as well as performance issues and noises that were not present prior to the repairs (which occurred weeks after the accident). A "review " consisted of an inside party "looking into it". Since there was no 3rd (objective) party involved, guess who paid (& is still paying for) subsequent issues... Basically - who wants to deal with an agency that can't get your number right after a decade and a half and with whom you feel your property is not protected? read more

The front office staff was extremely nice, but Elizabeth Walker was extremely RUDE. So condescending even when I asked about switching insurance from Geico. What she said was correct and understandable, but how she delivers herself is horrible. I decided to visit this State Farm location despite the negative reviews, and I regret doing so. I will be visiting a better-reviewed State Farm location to talk to an agent that will respect the business I wish to give them instead of treating me like a five-year-old. Shalyn Clark is not able to truly listen and understand the problems. Her CSR is poorly trained gives completely false and non-compliant answers to questions about your policy. I questioned why a coverage was left off my policy when I replaced my car, and they made the regional office the scape goats. I was originally told that the office had left it off when replacing my car on the policy. Then when I asked to discuss why, I was told they cannot discuss anything with me, since I was not the policy holder. Which is false. I work in insurance, I am able to discuss the coverage and limitations of my policy. I am not able to make changes. This is just one of the many many mistakes they made in the past few weeks. The service has fallen way off over the past few years, not just with Shalyn Clark's office and her employees, but with State Farm in general. Rates have risen, and when asked for a few 'minor' things{proof of car insurance, which had not arrived} or for a credit check to be run to see if excellent credit will decrease rates, finding out that State Farm got the message but never ran the report, then billed me for what is most likely a higher amount that I should be paying, is more than annoying-it is bad business. It seems like I talk to a new person every other time I call Shalyn's office, which thankfully is not often. I asked, last year, since the rates were skyrocketing, why I should stay with them and the answer was "Because we pay our claims." That's nice, dearie, but isn't that the job of an insurance company? read more
