When I called back a week after scheduling the appt to see if we could be put on a waitlist for a sooner appt, Donna asked if she could call me back and when she did a few min later she told me she was able to move the appt from 1/9/25 to 10/23/24 -- 2 1/2 mos earlier! I will be forever grateful to Donna for her advice, understanding, kindness and compassion.

Our appointment was scheduled on 8/21/25 by Angel for 10:15 am with Dr. Dang. We arrived on time, but the experience was not handled professionally. Upon arrival, we were greeted in a dismissive manner by the receptionist, Hailly. After waiting 15 minutes, Wendi asked if we had an appointment, explaining that none was showing in the schedule. Hailly was asked to look into the issue but stated her computer was not working properly. Ten minutes later, she abruptly told us we had canceled the appointment, which was untrue. When the situation became tense, Wendi intervened, directed Hailly to enter our information, and ensured we were able to see Dr. Dang as originally planned. While we appreciate Wendi's professionalism and the excellent care we received from Dr. Dang, the way Hailly handled the situation left us extremely dissatisfied. Because of this experience, we would be hesitant to return; however, the positive interactions with Wendi and Dr. Dang may encourage us to reconsider in the future.

His shots did not reduce his allergic reactions. The new allergist told us he should not have been getting the shots as one of his medications could cause a fatal reaction. Premeir Allergy is a shot mill, just taking insurance money from as many as possible. We would advise everyone to run away as fast as you can from this practice.

I was able to get in during the week very quickly (I think the weekend might be a different story). I arrived a little early and was greeted in a few moments. I was really ready to get a massage since I was in alot of pain. Casey was my therapist. She took the time to personally discuss problem areas prior to starting. She also gave me the option of full body massage or to concentrate on my neck, shoulders, and back. In the end I left with alot less pain (I was having a hard time even turning my neck from side to side). I also left feeling like a bowl of jello.....which is always a good sign to me! I have one more massage with my groupon and then might decide to join their monthly club. Their massages are reasonably priced after that.

A couple of years ago I suffered a back injury from an industrial accident. I took myself to the…read moreER, and what ensued was more than a year of specialists and doctors and hospital visits. My pain branched out to my entire right leg, parts of my left leg, my whole back, my neck, head and arms. In detail I saw a series of 3 orthopedic doctors, 2 neurologists, 2 neurosurgeons, 2 pain management doctors, and had 3 ER visits; all for my back pain. My entire back was imaged via X-ray and MRI. I was scanned from cranium to pelvis. Nothing was reported that even began to explain my problems. Nada. Zip... And so my diagnosis was ever changing between doctors. I was told I had anyhing that seemed to stick: Fibromyalgia, Pain Amplification Syndrome, Myofascial Pain and Disorder, Stretched Nerves, Degenerative Disc Disease, Depression Induced Pain, etc etc etc. With "diagnosis" in hand, I went through an accumulated total of 3 months of physical therapy, prescribed rest, acupuncture, dry needling, regimented stretching, chiropractic treatments, trigger point injections and massage, active release therapy, massage, TENS units, and a litany of medication. Every doctor I saw eventually gave up, stopped returning my calls, or offered me a handful of pills to shut me up. I am young, and I thought I would have to start collecting disability and live on pain meds. My back hurt all over, there was hardly anything I could do anymore. Sitting was painful, driving was unbearable, standing was far worse, and a good night's sleep was a fleeting memory. My leg hurt just like sciatica, starting first in the foot and working its way up. It would go into painful spasms and twitch, sending waves of pain all over my body. I developed neck pain and headaches, pain that radiated down my arms and numbed my fingers, and my heart began to have issues from all of the stress and lack of sleep. My hair was turning grey or falling out. My personal relationships suffered immensely. I couldn't live like that anymore, and seeing as how my other doctors were not helping me, I decided to try Prolotherapy. I was in luck because Dr. Parikh's office was relatively close to me. I visited Dr. Parikh's office in April of 2016 for my first session of Prolotherapy. I had done my research on Prolotherapy, and was already at ease with my decision because of the excellent communication I had with the doctor via Email prior to committing. Before treatment he did a very thorough exam, far more thorough than my initial evaluations with all the other doctors. Also, knowing that the doctor underwent this treatment himself and benefited from it was very reassuring. I am sure none of my other doctors would ever touch the pills or take the kind of injections they prescribed me! It wasn't until after the 4th session that I noticed a change in my pain. When I was once unable to walk around a store to buy groceries, I was buying food for myself, I was out on my land, pulling up 6ft+ plants and working on my truck again, up and down on my knees for short periods. I still didn't have the stamina I needed to keep this up, but this was obvious evidence of an improvement. It was after my 9th treatment that I started to see great strides in my recovery, every week I was improving little by little. By the 11th treatment I was finally able to move on from just prolotherapy to strength training and massage therapy, and I continue to improve through those two modalities. I still have a long road ahead, but thanks to Dr. Parikh and his treatments I feel confident that I will only have a short time left of dealing with my current level of pain - no longer does it feel like it will "last forever". Also, if my pain ever gets bad again, I am going straight back to Dr. Parikh. No other doctor I have been to has ever shown as much consideration for their patients well being as he has. If you hurt and are getting no answers, consider seeing Dr. Parikh.

I originally switched to Emerald in 2024 when my insurance changed, and they were recommended by my previous office. I'm really glad I made the transition. My psychiatrist has been wonderful to work with. She is thoughtful, attentive, and I always feel heard during our appointments. It's clear she truly cares about her patients and takes the time to make sure treatment plans are working. I've also worked with two therapists there. The first one just wasn't the right fit for me personally, which can happen anywhere, but the process of switching was smooth, and the second therapist has been a great match. We work very well together and I've found the sessions very helpful. All of my appointments have been virtual, and the process has been easy and reliable. I've never had issues with scheduling or the telehealth platform. Overall, I highly recommend Emerald Psychiatry & TMS Center. The providers are professional, compassionate, and the practice has made accessing mental health care straightforward and supportive.

This is for anyone who is considering care with Emerald or has just left care-- it is not normal to…read moreleave an intake feeling hopeless, horrible about yourself, and completely flooded with trauma you can't process alone. It is not normal to have your therapist rush you through the intake because she spent the first half of the session lecturing you about a topic she presumes you to know nothing about (automatically made a lot of assumptions about my disability). It is not normal to tell your therapist about this life changing rare disorder you were recently diagnosed with (the entire reason I moved to Ohio and have to completely restart all care with new providers) and for her to dismiss it and say many people on her caseload have this condition that she seemingly knows nothing about. I promise you- they don't and even if they did-- their experiences are not my own. It is not normal for the therapist to talk the majority of the intake (yet no introduction or explanation of services) and tell you you need to explain your trauma in 1 sentence or less, then act annoyed that some trauma can't be concisely explained in 1 sentence. Most of all, it's not normal for a therapist who barely got to know me, did zero assessments and offered no compassion, to then end the intake by attempting to diagnose me with a personality disorder. I'm going to be incredibly vulnerable in this review in the hopes of saving someone else from the horrible experience that I had, because truly it is downright dangerous and harmful for therapists to 1. Practice outside of their scope of competence and 2. Flood their clients asking about trauma with zero reassurance or empathy offered 3. Diagnose a personality disorder without getting to know my personality My therapist, Nichole Evans, claimed that the diagnosis was due to suicidal ideation at age 13 and the fact that I can't form relationships. She did not get background on what was happening at age 13 but said that the only explanation for suicidal ideation is a personality disorder. No idea where she got the impression that I don't have solid relationships. Prior to my move to Ohio, I had a great group of friends, a really healthy relationship with my therapist and psychiatrist. The reason I don't have relationships in ohio is I JUST moved here. I also had a working diagnosis of cPTSD, OCD, and social anxiety. She didn't explore any of those diagnoses and said she's not actually able to diagnose my personality disorder, just that I have one and in the meantime she'll diagnose major depression. No PHQ9, no actual assessments or questions to determine I'm depressed. The extent of my depression is just sleeping a lot due to pain from fibromyalgia and hypermobile Ehlers Danlos. Besides that, I'm not depressed and actually consider myself to be thriving despite the conditions. When I told her that I don't agree with the diagnosis, especially given what I know about the disorder, because I don't ever want attention, she said "REALLY? because I'm getting the opposite impression, you're just begging for attention this whole meeting." When I said, "really?" She replied, "you're barfing up your life story, it's too much." For those who can't see the irony or absolute idiocracy in this statement, a therapist telling a client they're barfing up their life story and begging for attention is DANGEROUS. I don't have a personality disorder but what if I did? And took those comments personally and felt hopeless, suicidal, etc. The diagnosis felt like a threat (claiming she's unable to actually legally make the diagnosis but that she'll get it on my record so it follows me everywhere). I canceled my following appointments and tried to speak with the office but it's impossible to get through. Furthermore, after emailing that I was upset with my experience, the therapy scheduling called to try to set me up with someone else. No one acknowledged the harm that was done, no one apologized and I had left a message that I'd be available all day to discuss my experience. Im writing this review hoping to save someone else the horrible, downright offensive experience I had. This is a vulnerable community when we are going to treatment and deserve to be treated with compassion, empathy, respect. I was rushed through my intake so quickly that it was less than an hour and most of that was Nichole lecturing me about the reasons she believes I didn't get disability (fyi, I just moved here and am establishing providers and getting genetic testing completed where I couldn't in my home state. Im fully aware of the process and the steps and did not ask for her input). If you are considering Emerald, please, go elsewhere. This is *not* normal nor is it ethical or competent care.
