We asked Andrew's to install a replacement solar power system at our off-grid home near North Fork. They planned the install carefully, gathered all the specs for the Bluetti system we chose, and helped us identify key parts we needed to order. They arrived when promised and did smart troubleshooting as they did the installation. They helped us understand the system, get the app onto our phones, and showed us how to monitor the system via WiFi, which is great when we're traveling. They returned for additional troubleshooting when the system froze and showed us how to restart it. Andrews Electric technicians just found and fixed an electrical failure in our old, poorly wired (not documented) house. It was excellent and difficult diagnostics work performed under difficult circumstances. The technicians were VERY RESPECTFUL and careful in and around furniture and personal keepsakes. Recently I experienced a baffling electrical outage at my house that resulted in my dishwasher burning out and various other appliances and my lighting switching off and on randomly. I called Andrews electric, and Robert arrived at my home in a little over an hour. He went to my circuit breaker and determined that I was not getting the appropriate power from my P G&E power line. P G&E was notified and quickly arrived on the scene. They determined that a squirrel had chewed through part of the power line leading to the house and replaced the line correcting the problem. We've had a problem with an electricity outage in one bedroom and the back patio of our home for months. Couldn't figure out why we lost power suddenly or how to fix it, so we called Andrew's Electric. We'd done business with them a couple of years ago, with favorable results, so it made sense to call them again. So glad we did. The technician they sent traced the problem down and took several repair steps to fix both problems, plus find an outside outlet that was fried from a lightning strike that we didn't even realize had happened. Bottom line, the technician went the extra mile to make sure our problems were fixed, our complete electrical system was in safe operating order, and did it all in an efficient manner, taking only a few hours to finish the job at a very reasonable cost. Ok so we had electrical issues in moms room, half of the room outlets were not working, checked circuit breakers etc...nothing I could find. So I called Monday morning about 8am and they came Monday morning about 10am, that was pretty Awesome!!! the service tech was professional and called about 5 minutes before he arrived to our home and fixed the issue in less than an hour, we got a senior discount, I always ask for senior or military discounts :) So they will be my go to (hopefully later than sooner) when needed for electrical challenges. Andrew's Electric is great - dependable, prompt, courteous and professional. We have a vacation rental property and they had done some repairs on the electrical for our septic pump a few months back (before we had closed on the house). When we received an alarm email from our pump monitor, we noticed that the electrical outlet had been placed below ground level and was potentially susceptible to flooding if our pump tank overflowed. I called Andrew's - the owner took the call, checked in with his techs and had the outlet moved above ground - the same day! I hope to find service as great as this for all our needs.
