I had my Hollow body electric worked on - the cable connector had unscrewed and fell inside the guitar.

I am an adult learner and have been with SoR for about a year. I'm having tons of fun playing great music with other like-minded adults. They have also been fantastic during covid with remote and/or in-person lessons and rehearsals. A great place to start living your best rock 'n roll life. Shout outs to Nathan and Garrett for being such fun instructors, and thanks to Sarah for running such a great school.

We did experience what seemed to be some growing pains, and it was difficult for us to maintain the schedule due to other obligations that inevitably popped up, not to mention holiday closures. In the end, we got behind in classes and ultimately withdrew in the hole, no fault of School of Rock who tried to accommodate, but because of our busy lives. (Notably, there is a requisite 30-day notice to cancel. Be aware of this should you decide to enroll or withdraw.) Would we do it again? Maybe... if life were a bit less chaotic!

He realized he left the right cord at home and we had to find somewhere quick to get a quarter inch to quarter inch cord. I started frantically calling around and this place was the closest to our gig which was still 17 minutes away. I wish I couldn't remember the sweet young lady's name that answered the phone. Maybe Mel or Melanie? She told me right away they had the cord in stock and I sent him right over. He picked up the cord and saved the day. From what I understand it was pretty fair priced as well. Anyway, thanks so much Music & Arts for saving our the night.

This retail music store and lesson center exemplifies how exceptional customer service and genuine care for students can create a thriving community-centered business. From the moment you walk through the door, the customer service at Music & Arts sets them apart. The front desk staff consistently maintains a positive demeanor that makes every visit pleasant. Whether I'm dropping off my child for a lesson, asking questions about scheduling, or simply checking in, I'm always greeted with warmth and professionalism. This positive atmosphere isn't just surface-level politeness--it reflects a genuine culture of respect and helpfulness that permeates the entire organization. In an age where many businesses treat customer interactions as mere transactions, this personal touch makes families feel valued and welcomed. One aspect that particularly impresses me is their scheduling system. As any parent knows, coordinating children's activities with work commitments and family obligations can be incredibly challenging. Music & Arts excels at working with families to find lesson times that accommodate everyone's needs. They demonstrate flexibility when schedule changes are necessary and communicate proactively about any adjustments. This reliability and understanding has made music lessons a stress-free part of our weekly routine rather than another source of scheduling anxiety. The quality of instruction at Music & Arts is equally impressive. The teachers are highly knowledgeable in their respective instruments and teaching methods. My child's instructor doesn't just teach notes and techniques--they foster a genuine love for music while building technical skills progressively. The teachers understand how to work with different learning styles and age groups, adapting their approach to each student's needs. I've watched my child's confidence and ability grow significantly under their guidance, which speaks volumes about the instructors' expertise and dedication. What makes this store even more appealing is its affordability. Quality music education can often come with a hefty price tag, pricing out many families who want to give their children these opportunities. Music & Arts offers competitive rates that make private music lessons accessible without compromising on quality. This commitment to affordability suggests they prioritize serving the community over maximizing profits, which always keeps me coming back!

And they also give you a case every time you buy a guitar because every guitar comes with the case, they give it to you in the original case unlike other music stores that we all know such as Sweetwater, Guitar Center, American music supply or AMS none of them in the original case you have to buy it for extra $200-$300. At TME they give you a case whatever Guitar you buy I've never left that store without a case. A hardshell case at that not a gig bag. But a real hardshell case that you could stand on all the guitars in it, and it will not hurt the Guitar. I even had one fall out the back of a truck and hit the ground pretty hard in the hard showcase and they were both fine. All three were fine 73 Gibson and less Paul 1998 seven string Ibanez RGS/RGA?? 7 7120 something like that. it was black with a Floyd rose. I don't remember what kind of pick up cause back man seven strings had just come out not many people knew how to plan now they're just as easy if not easier to play in a sixth string because everything's based on seven patterns and the strings of positions and fingering on each string and on and on and on, I think if you learn guitar theory with a seven string, you wear your ass fit a lot faster than having to see the seven string feeding pattern and the fingering positions just to get a seven string so you don't have to skip that seventh repeating pattern you just play it also you get a full three octaves instead of two octaves and 4 notes so basically anywhere from 17 to 19 notes Max. On a seven string you can complete the whole fingering pattern in each three note for string pattern and you played 3 office and your notice that if there are a much shorter space on the six string it will go from like 5th fret to 7 or eight, possibly nine

No flexibility provided - their policy says rescheduling is no guarantee and at discretion. We didn't get any. Didn't give us much information about the teacher they contracted to at the beginning either. Their price point was high compared with local levels, it seems that their fee needs to be taken out before paying the teacher. My questions and later complaints were ignored, and upon repeated requests to cancel my subscription, they still charged me to the point of their response, not when I asked for it. I have since taken my recommendation of them to other families back. Use your local teachers instead!
