If I could I would give this place no star, This place and there financing company (Melody Finanncial) is a Fucking joke I had puchased a new Paxman French Horn. And now they are trying to sue me For there stupid mistake. They had sold me a horn with a messed up spit valve knowing damn well that it was messed up. I had to twist and rotate the horn to get the spit out and sometimes that wouldn't even work. I took the horn back and the man at the front had told me that they sold other horns like this and it was a defect with most of the horn they had sold so then he told me to take to the repair man so i did. the man at the counter had to take it apart to try to fix the problem so i said fuck it and gave it back. And took my busniess elsewhere now they are saying I need to pay for the repairs that they know about and what they are asking me to pay is a equel to a brand new horn and also saying i need to bring the horn back when i had already did. I have passed by H & H several times traveling down 1960, but never had a reason to go in until about a week or so ago. The building faces 1960, like everything else, but you turn in after the building itself and park in the back of the shop. The entrance is also in the back with the parking lot. This is a huge, very clean, nicely organized store. If you have kid's in band, you already know that there are different books on instruments for different schools. I needed to get a book for my God son who is in middle school. I walked in & was greeted by Jeff, the manager at H & H. As soon as I explained what instrument I needed a book for, he asked, "What school?" I told him & he had the book in my hand & was on the way to checking me out. I don't know squat about instruments, or anything that would be in that store. What I do know is that my oldest son wants to play the snare, but his school told him he needs to wait until High School. So Jeff offered me several pamphlets on private classes, & also wrote down names & numbers of a couple of extra people I can contact. I thought that was great.....after all, he could've just rung me up & went on to the next customer. I give H & H 5 stars!!! They earned every one by having a huge stocked store that is extremely clean & has a friendly & helpful staff. I strongly suggest this store if you are in the area. read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. They came to my daughter's school and I ordered her flute from them. I paid the initial payment in cash bc I did not have my card with me to put on the contract. THEY NEVER DELIVERED THE INSTRUMENT! Since they never delivered, I went to a different company, but H&H has been billing me saying that I owe them for an instrument I never received. Anytime I try to call or email (which has been numerous times), I leave messages and never get a returned call or email. THEY HAVE NOW SENT MY ACCOUNT TO A COLLECTIONS AGENCY! FOR AN INSTRUMENT WE NEVER RECEIVED!!! If they do not resolve the issue and zero out my account, I will be hiring a lawyer and taking them to small claims court. This has been going on for a year now and I'm tired of it! read more
