First time ever getting something powder coated. From the get go Andrews Powder Coating shop was immaculate and well organized. All the employees were courteous and very helpful. Eva was the main contact in communication via email. She always kept me informed about the project and even sent some pics along the way of the project and it was really cool to see the progress. Got my 4 seater dune buggy frame sand blasted followed by powder coat and the end result was amazing! The finish came out way better than I expected! During pickup, the staff was very helpful loading the frame on my trailer and other small components that were also powder coated were wrapped both in plastic and then in paper. It felt like X-mas! The effort in the packaging to make sure nothing got scratched or damaged exceeded my expectations of a shop. Overall, excellent service and staff, will definitely come back for future powder coating needs. Highly recommend this business. Support your local businesses. After researching many powder-coating companies, I chose Andrews to do all the major parts that I could remove on my Land Rover Defender 90 as part of my restoration efforts. Three round trips (a 64 mile round trip each time) to get it all done, and I am very pleased with their work. The drives were well worth the effort! Both Eva and Andrew thoroughly explained everything about the process, and I couldn't believe how orderly and clean the facility was. I have to agree with the other reviewers. The woman that works the office doesn't exactly go out of her way to earn your business. Very rude. Was shopping around to get an estimate to powder coat an iron fence and gate. She straight out told me "i volunteer to take me off the list (of prospects) because we are not cheap". I thanked her. Have done business with them for over 15 years and what a pain in the ass it has been. Every time they make a mistake they take no accountability! It is always the customers fault, as well we checked the pricing over the last couple of years just to find out they were robbing us on cost of powder as well as the labor performed. We now use multiple powder coating shops that are faster, cheaper, better quality and way easier to deal with. Beware of Sandee the owner as she will lie right to your face about just everything she says!! I had a great experience with these guys! I'm surprised when I saw some rough reviews from others who went to Andrews. I got a very good price on (5) Bead Locks powder coated for my truck. They were honest in regards to powdering the bolts as well. They could've made more money off me in regards but explained to me that it would ruin the threads if I did so. I'm glad I didn't as cross threading will be of no fun. They have some great customer service for being a bunch of Real Men that do Real Men things. If you venture into the Off-Road/Motorcycle/Gear Head world, then you'd understand. These guys are friendly and helpful while being true to themselves. I deal with a lot of Off-Road shops and trust me. You come across some of the worse customer service from D-Bags working the counters. Cough, Cough 4-Wheel Parts, cough, cough. I called 5 different powder coaters in my general area and to be honest. Andrews was right in the middle on pricing. Hearing great things from a buddy who gets his motorcycle parts done by them. I personally dont like to write reviews especially bad ones, but today I received a email from Susan Andrews at Andrews Powdercoating asking for a review (which is prob why there are a bunch of other reviews that also went up today as well). Main issues... 1. took way too long, over 3 months 2. significantly over original estimate (almost by 2x) without any communication of the additional costs 3. poor quality work, we're talking about uneven finishes on identical products 4. rude, and manipulative 5. grossly over priced compared to any other professional powdercoating service. 6. obviously, they don't pay attention to detail, otherwise I would not have received the email asking for a Good review. read more

The worse business I have come across. Very dishonest , poor quality of work and 3 and half time more expensive than others or I should say regular places that do similar work. Not going to detail (it would take me few hours) but I had to sue them in court for around $2,500 which I was granted $2,350 for a total job of $2,700 originally (powder coating parts for custom Harley) and then raising it up to another $1000 for fill work (just on a gas tank... yes $1000 putty work on a 4 gallon gas tank) making it $3,700 which was supposed to be included. They end up with hiring an attorney to appeal and managed to reduce my reimbursment to $1,350 instead of $2,350. Just trying to show that what I have said about this bad faith business is true. You are better off going to any other powder coating place and save 3 times as much...their work is not any better.... All the work that they did do is chipping or bubbling for whatever reason. ps. They had blocked me from going to this and another link that they sent to all their customers but I figured it out..... Thats another reason for what they stand for. I'm very surprised by all of the negative feed back on these guys. They are a lil pricey compared to other shops but I believe quality is worth the price. They powder coated my rims for my gsxr 600 and she looks beautiful with the white rims. I brought them in and got them back within the same week. I was referred to them by Air Flow Research who gets their headers powder coated by them. Overall they did a great job and I would recommend them. read more

Can not say enough good things about Scott & his team. I am opening a new health club and needed a unique high end looking sign. My club is near PCH/Sunset so it had to be able to withstand the elements. Scott not only gave us direction on which metals to use, but he listen to the look we were going for & steered us toward a color that was nearly 20 years old (from memory!).
