I had Blinds 4 U come out and price the cost of replacing several blinds, including a very large one for our sliding glass doors at our back patio. Howard V.'s quote came in decidedly lower that that of a larger, better known/advertised shop. (And he showed up right-on-time, if not a bit early, to-boot!) I hired Howard and his people did a great job of installing all my new blinds. This past week I went to open the largest blinds at my sliding glass doors when the continuous line broke. Luckily, I had kept Howard's phone number and the paperwork about our 2015 installation in a file in my office. I called him hoping he and Blinds 4 U were still in business, given how many companies closed during Covid! Happily, he took my call and has ordered the replacement line. I look forward to his coming out to fix my blinds when the part comes in, and, getting a quote to replace a set of 20+ year-old vertical blinds in my master bathroom! I would not recommend using Allure in Philadelphia owned by Roi Albo. I have had nothing but…read moretrouble since we started this process. Michael Halpern came out and measured my windows and said he would get back to me with a quote. A week later, he still did not get back to me with a quote. I had to follow up with the company several times to get a quote. This should've been my first sign. After signing the contract, Michael told me I would receive my shades in 4 to 5 weeks. After nine weeks, the shades were not ready. I had to follow up with the company multiple times to find out when my shades were coming in. They were full of excuses. Finally, they scheduled a day for install after me calling many times. When the shades arrived, four of the seven shades I ordered were measured wrong and could not be hung. I called and they said they would call me later in the day to explain how they would fix the situation. 2 days later I still did not receive a phone call. After I called them and they returned days later to install the shades that were measured wrong, there were still many issues. They did not supply me with the proper amount of remotes. They did not provide a bottom track for one of my shades. There were nails showing on the frames of the shades that were supposed to have caps on them. The day after the shade was installed the chain to open the shade broke. Finally, they came back to fix the chain and it still does not work. They brought a piece of trim that belongs a floor and tried to install that on the bottom of my window. I'm not sure that the owner, Roi Albo, would have that in his house. I asked him to come to my house to look at the windows that and he will not schedule a time. I still do not have the bottom rail to one of my shades. I also still do not have the proper remote. One shade will not open because the chain is faulty. I would not recommend this company to anyone and cannot possibly understand how they can run a business like this. The only positive experience I've had has been with the installers. They are very friendly and nice.

In early March, I stopped by the store to request someone come measure a new window for me. While…read morethe window itself was not yet installed, the frame was in place and marked for the depth of the window. Bob suggested I wait for the window before placing the order. While this was going to make my timeframes tight, he assured me the turnaround time once ordered would be fast. I had an appointment for 12:30 last Thursday. At 12:20, I see a sample book at the front door. I call the store and am told by the woman who answered that she sees my appointment on the schedule for 12:30. She tells me to call back and she won't answer and the call will go directly to Bob. By the time Bob and I talk, it's after 1:00 and he tells me he suddenly found out he doesn't have life insurance so he had to go directly home (how does this even happen--isn't a quick phone all it would take to address this?) and that we'd have to reschedule. On my doorbell camera, I see he was here at 11:00 to leave the sample book. Not sure why the 11:00 drop off was acceptable, but ringing the doorbell to come in and measure wasn't. He could not reschedule then from his home and I had to give up and start with another company, wasting weeks of time and making me miss my deadline. The second star is because he left the sample book, which came in handy for me to know exactly what I wanted to order when the new company came to measure.
