After a few weeks their technician came out and told me the motor was burnt out. I never had a problem with it before this. They were going to charge me 1600 to replace it. I got a second estimate from another company for 725, and when they came out they fixed it without replacing the motor so I spent nothing. Bills canvas was going to rip me off with an expensive motor I didnt need. They didnt even care when I told them this. Go somewhere else.

A person who came in for an estimate seemed very knowledgeable explained every possible outcome and suggested how we can save money without loosing value what we really appreciate being homeowners. To be fair it did take a long time to wait for windows to arrive (14 weeks) but we were warned about waiting time in advance so they didn't try to deceive us on anything. People installing windows were fast, quiet (as much as it possible) and very clean. Covered our hardwood floors right the way, vacuumed everything after competing the job and left no mess outside either. My husband and I purchased a Sunesta awning from Paul Construction for $10,000 two years ago, and…read morewe are now having trouble getting it to extend properly. The problem appears to be with the arm, a moving part connected to the assembly brackets. When the awning retracts, it clicks and locks into place, and it will not open again without assistance. When I contacted Paul Construction to request warranty service, I was told I would have to pay a fee just to have someone inspect the issue. I offered to send photos and a video to help with diagnosis. Pete, who answered the phone, was rude and disrespectful and told me more than once that he does not get paid enough to talk to customers. Although he agreed to review the photos and follow up, I never heard back. After I called every day for three days, RJ answered and had no idea what I was referring to, but said someone would call me back. When Pete eventually returned my call, he also claimed he did not know what I was talking about, despite our conversation two days earlier. He stated that I must have misunderstood the owner. The owner may be a smooth salesperson, but when it comes to warranty support, this company has been extremely disappointing. They do not stand behind their warranty. If I had known this is how Paul Construction treats its customers, I never would have purchased this awning from them. The awning came with a lifetime warranty, and I am attaching the document the owner provided. I am sharing my experience to warn others: if you are considering this company, do yourself a favor and choose a different awning installer. My husband and I regret choosing Paul Construction.

But it seems Laurel only has one person for this process. The company is not very well coordinate. It is quite frustrating to try and get your work completed. But, the final installation was quality.
