Hometown goodness at its best, Andy T's Farm Market carries hyperlocal produce, much of it from Andy T's own farms, so you're only going to get the freshest produce here. If something in the produce area happens to be out, ask when it'll be back, the delivery might already be on the road, and it's worth the fifteen minute wait. Known for sweet corn, the sweetest, Andy T's also has other seasonal fruits and vegetables. On my most recent visit, I got fresh sweet corn (had to wait a few minutes for them to stock up), traditional cucumbers (pickles), full-size and cherry-size tomatoes, onions, and summer squash. They also carry a selection of other local goods, bakery items, jams, pickles, and drinks, and lots of souvenirs that are beloved by people passing through and locals, MSU and UM memorabilia and garden accessories. They have beautiful flowers but be aware when checking out. They over charge. I have had that happen to me the last two times I was there.

I have ALWAYS been met with kind, knowledgeable, helpful and respectful staff. The flowers, shrubs, trees, vegetables and herbs have been healthy & fruitful. I'm proud of my gardens and yard. Stopped by this cool market to check out the Pumpkin weigh off. My husband grew pumpkins for the first time this year and we thought it would be fun. The weigh off was cool to watch! They have a cute store that has cider mill donuts ( the kind with regular sugar and cinnamon) which the cider mill about 5 miles away doesn't even carry! We like the feel of this place it was not to commercial and they had things for the kids and many interesting things to look at. There was a gentleman actually carving a pumpkin which was way cool. read more

I was there this afternoon And quickly noticed that while employees were handling produce and helping customers without wearing masks. When I asked about it I was greeted with rude behavior and employees rolling their eyes at me. My elderly father has a lung disease and I feel sick to my stomach that these employees were treating guests like this. Furthermore when I brought the issue to Andy HIMSELF he quickly dismissed my worries stating that I didn't see things correctly followed by several excuses of why his employees can't wear masks. I realize that these times are difficult and that taking precautions can cause strain on our day to day routines but there should be no excuse when lives are at stake. The box of dirt in the parking lot with the sign to wash your hands in this is a perfect example of this business thumbing it's nose at the safety of its customers. Try to call and inquire about inventory selection of an item , to be answered with " I,m busy right now with a customer, please hold..." I guess, don't answer the phone stating you already don't have time for me. What a turn off. Will never frequent here. read more

We took the Grandkids last Sunday because they advertised "Make Your Own Caramel Apples" and hayrides to pick your own pumpkin. From the moment we got there it was $$$$$ for this and $$$$$$ for that. They even charged for the kids to play in their crappy little play area (we didn't pay for that). We took the hay wagon to the pumpkin fields. Mostly rotted, half-eaten by animals. They touted a pumpkin slingshot. One dollar per launch. The kids can't even pull the launcher, it's takes too much strength. So, we return to the store and are anxious to try the caramel apple thingy........$4.00. No way. We decided to buy a quart of cider and 6 donuts but, here's the final act of greed.......you have to BUY the 3 ounce paper cups in order to drink the cider. We'll be going back to Uncle John's Cider Mill next year....at least they press their own cider.......and the cups are free. Greed, greed and more greed. read more

I came to buy flowers and saw signs for fresh made breads & pies. I was excited until I saw the workers in the bakery area and those stocking the baked goods on the shelves not wearing masks. None of their employees were wearing masks. I left without buying anything. Not wearing masks in the middle of a pandemic is reckless and disrespectful to your customers. read more

The produce has been nothing but awful and the customer service is seriously awful. I'd go literally anywhere else.

Horrible, old, and rotten produce. And a poor selection, at that! I went there twice. The first time I got some tomatoes and strawberries. Nothing looked very fresh. There were tomatoes that had rotten spots and most of them were soft. This is a supposedly "fresh" produce market?? The strawberries had that pocked looked they get when they are old. I thought they would at least have that summery taste, but the tomatoes and strawberries were relatively flavorless. A few months later I went back with my boyfriend.. I don't know why. The first thing we saw when we walked in was a rotten pepper. Right there on top for everyone to see. It's not a big place so you would think they would be able to at least walk around once in a while and pull the rotten things. Then we were looking at the muskmelon. The first one he picked up his thumb went right through it! Then I picked up a different one and my thumb went through it, spraying rotten melon onto my shirt. Not happy. There was rotten ears of sweet corn in the bin. We did end up with two apples, one of which went bad two days later! NEVER seen an apple go bad that fast in my life! And four peaches, which were hard when I bought them and extremely soft the following day. I don't know what they do to their so called "fresh" produce, but produce from the grocery store is trucked all over the country and stored in warehouses and still you have time to buy it, and get it home before it starts to go bad. I will never go back there. The best thing we bought were the mints, made with St. John's Mi fresh mint oils. Yum! ( but I can buy those other places.) I would NOT recommend this market. read more

5 stars based on customer service alone. If you have any lawn or gardening questions these people have the answers and Andy is almost always on site to help. Everything we have ever purchased wether it was food, plants, fertilizers or stone we have been 100% satisfied. You may pay a little more for things here then at a big box but keeping local people working and eating local foods is and always will be worth a little extra. read more

Best place to get fresh farm to market produce! Fresh baked goods that can't be beat. I also enjoy shopping all the other goodies, ie jellies, jams, wines, arts, etc. And of course the plants and flowers are the best! read more
