The only reason this place got two stars instead of one was for a halfway decent buzzcut. I had been here once several years ago and was served rather quickly last time as a walk in. This time, it took well over an hour and a half to get seated. No one greets you, asks if you have an appointment, or even really acknowledges you when you walk in. No one tells you that there is a sign up board on the front counter for walk ins. A small sign on the wall says cash only, but there is no list of prices for whatever services are available. No way to know if your barber is pulling numbers out of thin air or shooting straight. This is the point when you are made aware of prices, but only if you ask. First time I was there I got a weak flat top for an average price. Stopped wearing a flat top here since hardly anyone knows how to do a good one. This time I asked for a crew cut. Like I said, halfway decent. The vibe is typical of the barber shops that I have used in this area. Nothing special to set it apart from any others. I would ask why make an appointment when a new customer has no idea who does better work than any other of the barbers there? Also there looked to be a few walk in customers taken out of order of sign up or walk in. Overall a disappointing experience here. Gotta keep on looking for a good barber shop read more

I'm not one to leave bad reviews but this place definitely earned a one star after this experience. My partner waited OVER 2 HOURS to get a hair cut. The usual wait time without an appointment is one hour, which is fine. But once they called him up to finally be seated some guy walked in claiming he had an appointment. So they sat my partner back down in the waiting area. After assuring him the cut would be fast, he waited OVER ANOTHER HOUR to be seated again. Have a better appointment and wait time system. If you want to go to a barbershop that appreciates your time, don't go here!! I walked in at 12:00 PM. As I wait I notice that the barbers here took customers that came after me for appointments. As I'm waiting I notice that one of the barbers answers a call and scheduled a guy for an appointment at 12:50, even though I had wrote my name down on the list. An hour later and I still receive no service!! I ask one of the barbers if they prioritize appointments and they said they do! I understand their business but they definitely lost me as a customer. Make sure you sign in , on the secret sign in sheet on the back counter , there is not a sign. So we waited 20 min just to watch 5 people sign in . So we had to wait 1 1/2 hours. We told them we did not realize there was a sign up sheet when we put our finally on it . They said yeeeeaaa. But did nothing to move us to the proper order. A year or so ago this was a great place then 6 months ago it's a cash only and long lines now it's who you know and slow. Sign and and wait but soon notice "friends" get shuffled in ahead of the rest. If your not part of the crew that gets in a chair the barbers take break and wait for the next friend. Everyone get a break and I get that but is it really a a coincidence that breaks occur just as the friends parade stops? read more

I'm sad to write this review because I've taken my almost 3 year old son here a few times and have always been happy...until today. I specifically told the barber that I didn't want it too short, just cleaned up. And that I specifically thought the hairstyle he had was an example of too short. My son ended up with a choppy, slightly longer version of the cut he had. He's just a toddler and the cut he has is practically bald, 3 days before his birthday party. When I complained I was told it was my mistake that I didn't object to the guard number that the barber mentioned, like I am supposed to an expert on boys cuts. I thought that's what I was paying them for! Apparently "not too short", "not like yours", and "just clean it up" are not descriptive enough for a barber to understand. Make sure you know your exact guard number before going in there! read more

Great place was recommended by a coworker. You come in and they have a sign in you put your name down there's A-line were you can put your preferred Barber. I got my cut with Albert, Hes a cool guy takes his time doing the cut which I like. The place is nice and clean all the way around which is awesome. read more

I usually go to a different barber in Glendale, but in a pinch when I don't have time to drive to Arrowhead this is my backup. I always wait for Albert; he has a soft touch and does a great job. One thing, I never have and will not bring my younger son here. They usually have the TV on channels I have blocked at home, and the conversations can be rough. Just an FYI. Jesus is my guy, always has been and he is great. on a couple of visits I came in on a Monday or Thursday when Jesus is off, Juan did not even need to ask what I wanted, he had seen me often enough and just knew, amazing bunch of barbers. Well I didn't think spending hours waiting for a haircut would be this much fun. Well my son actually like's this place usually my wife or daughter will bring him. I pretty much just put my name down and really all the barber's are very capable. Last few times Victor has done his hair and he wanted him to do it, so no biggie I put down Victor as the preferred baber. Oh boy this is where I made my mistake. So it has to be understood a haircut is not a 10 or 15 minute job. So Victor was actually already do someone's hair when I got there and signed him in. I also glanced over the list that my son would be next with Victor. So while waiting other barber's became available and people after me got seen, no problem since I had requested Victor. Well I guess Victor works hard and he is most definitely entitled to a break cant hold that against him. Over an hour later of waiting patiently with my son. And Victor is all energized to go again, but hold on we have a buddy system apparently here. Come in after people waiting and show you buddy card and hey presto you just move up the list. Kinda epic pile of steaming you know what in my opinion. Well Merry Christmas, definitely a low blow and definitely was my last visit to the place unfortunately. read more

decide two haircuts were needed last minute for 10yr old and 8yr old boys for their last day of school. did a quick search and Andy's showed up and showed it was open till 7p. our decision on haircuts was made around 6:15p ... I called and asked if it would be ok to bring two walk inside so close to closing ... was told no problem at all...we're open till 7p come on in. arrived at 6:35p signed in and sat with about 10 other ppl waiting... everyone was taken care of and the cuts we saw and were give were A+++ ... Great place to go for a haircut. I wear a very simple style, short on top and faded on the sides so a lot of the time the person doing my hair just zips through the job and sometimes misses some of it. My barber at Andy's took his time and made sure every line was squared away. He even finished my sideburns and nape with a straight razor to make sure they were extra neat. Everyone there was friendly and the price was very, very reasonable for the quality of service. I've found my barber. read more

My barbers Juan and Jesus never fail me. Been going to Juan since 2015 and have never been disappointed. Only down side is they don't do appointments so there's always a 30min-4 hour wait depending on day and time. But totally worth the wait in my opinion. I usually put my name down, leave to run errands or eat then come back. My average wait time is about an hour and a half. Some days are right away some days are all day waiting. If people are waiting for a haircut from here all day, doesn't that tell you just how good they are? read more
