Stopped in here yesterday (11-5) for lunch with a few friends. I'm from California and have been living in Utah now 7 years. I've yet to find a restaurant that I would rate their food 5 out of 5.....til now. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with French fries. Oh my goodness....perfection! My food came piping hot. I had to wait a few minutes before I could take a bite. Chicken breast with fresh mushrooms on their homemade bun was absolutely delicious! Fresh tomatoes, lettuce and onion were on the side if you wanted to add to the sandwich. French fries were perfect and not greasy. My lunch also came with a nice crisp fresh salad. Portions are humongous! I had to take half home. Price was well worth every penny. I will definitely be back....and I'm bringing my neighbor friends. I was so impressed with the food I almost forgot to mention our service. Our server was a beautiful red head, sorry I didn't get her name, who was a jewel. She was on top of everything before I even had a chance to ask. Filled our water, brought plenty of napkins, condiments and to go boxes before we could even ask. Really impressed and surprised with the quality of the meal I had at Andy's. the menu has been updated, but prices were still very affordable for the size of the meals. The Greek chicken was succulent and tender. Drinks were cheap, service was amazing. We sat on the restaurant side of the bar, and our drinks were never left empty. Our server was so kind and knowledgeable when we asked about allergens. It was pretty spacious and well lit for a bar. I've been here for a long time and it was my first time visiting! read more

Great little place with the best Greek food around. It all started with entering from a door in the back of the property closest to the parking spots. Social distancing? They have it mastered and are super friendly about the process. The staff not only was helpful, informative but also super attentive. Our water glasses were filled, Beers brought to us cold and food options explained in great detail. I ordered the Chicken souls souvlaki which came with this delicious lemon rice and pita bread. It also comes with a dinner salad. The price was adequate and totally fine for what we got. I especially liked the Dolmathaki and thought it was seasoned perfectly too. We wanted to order a fee gyro's to take home but discovered because the portions were so generous we ended up needing boxes to bring half our meals home. Next time I want to try the Gyro's for sure. Cassie (I think that was our servers name) was super and aside from being professional during her busy dinner rush she was super attentive and friendly. They deserved every star and I'd give them 6 if I could because they totally deserve it. read more

Ok, this place is just great. We go here to get their amazing pork souvlaki. We hadn't been in a long time, and we've gone twice in as many weeks now. It's as good as it has always been! We always get a side or two of feta cheese, and the Greek dressing is really good! (I put it on everything). Everything just tastes fresh. From the garden salad to the bread (a very thick pita-shaped bread), to the meat, and to the rice, it all satisfies that Greek food craving. The place is half bar and half restaurant, so kids can go there and enjoy the restaurant part. This is just an all around good place with good food! They also have steaks, and other fare. We Love Andy's. The problem is once you try something, you always want to order the same thing again. In this case, I always order Combo #1 and the wife always gets the gyro dinner. But this visit we tried the Andy's Combo which includes the famous sirloin steak that everyone always talks about. It was AMAZING!!! I highly suggest it. The portions at Andy's are exceptionally big and you can tell that there is a lot of passion behind all the delicious flavors. Went here for the first time being from Salt Lake County, this place is a must visit for food and ice-cold beer. We were seated right away, and the server was prompt and on top of it. Just no. I'm in for "divey"/hole in the wall places but this isn't it. It took us 45 minutes to get food which came at room temperature and the sides were COLD. My husband loves this place so we frequent it regularly. I'm not a huge Greek food fan so I like to try different things on the menu. My most recent visit, I ordered the steak and eggs which came with hash browns and Greek bread. The steak, which I ordered medium, was very large and seasoned well, but the disappointing thing was that it was very chewy. It took me forever to eat just a few bites and I had to take the majority of it home so I didn't sit there all day. I really like the salad with the ranch dressing, of which I ate my husband's serving. I also like the small feta on the side. I try to get the rice and maybe a couple of spinach or cheese triangles. Those are my usual fare and maybe I'll stick to that for next time. read more

I've have so many great experiences here! To a family night with my toddler and boyfriend or a group of family and friends or a simple girls night, it has never disappoint! The staff is so friendly and always there if you need something. The food is 10/10 amazing! The drinks are just the perfect mix! I 100% recommend going there! Well, they lost a half point for the location and a half point for the interior. The location is on a corner right off a super busy avenue with limited parking behind the restaurant. You walk in though a security screen door then through a regular steel exterior door, then you walk to the server who will seat you in one of three rooms. There are two separate dining rooms and then tables in the bar. I chose the bar. It was super dark in there. I ordered the chicken Souvlaki, the "greek" salad came quickly. There was no feta on the salad and the Greek dressing was in a sticky restaurant squeeze bottle at the table. The waitress also brought a squeeze bottle of ranch. Weird. I ordered a Stella at that point. The Stella was delivered promptly with an ice cold mug. Then my food came. Huge portion! The skewer of meat was huge, came to find out a bit later that every skewer has a pound of meat on it. There was also a super hearty serving of rice and a bunch of pita bread. The souvlaki was definitely proudly marinated, so delicious! I asked for some tzatziki on the side and that was a definite bonus! The food was really good and totally priced right! I overheard a server talking to someone and she said they do not take reservations on Friday or Saturday. I'm really interested to try them again if I want to drive that far from 25th St. read more

Husband & I ate here today on a whim. I was a bit hesitant to eat Greek food in a bar, but it was 3P on a Saturday and the parking lot was reasonably full - always a good sign. Couple of families eating meals, couples eating in bar area. (They have a separate area for people dining with anyone under the age of 21.) I had a couple of Coors Light drafts - something I haven't had since Texas - and our server, Alicia, was very nice. ($2.50 ea) Food arrived as fresh food does - not super quick, but perfect temperature. Husband ordered Combo 1 with chicken souvlaki, a meatball, a dolmathke, a salad and fries. I ordered the gyro sandwich with rice. Immediately asked for a to go box - just too much food. ($13.99 and $9.99 respectively.) Everything was well seasoned and not over salted. Meatball was great, as was the dolmathke, and I've eaten stuffed grape leaves all over, including Turkey, and I don't think I've ever had one with so much flavor and meat. The rice had a nice lemon back flavor to it and the gyro was very good and not doused in Tzatziki sauce. The prices on everything seemed reasonable to us, considering we took home enough food for another meal. We will certainly return when craving Greek. read more

Andy's is a great local place. Its small in size and could easily be missed, but you definitely should make the effort to give it a shot. My wife and I previously lived nearby and would stop in to have dinner once in a while. We would typically get the chicken souvlaki however and have since changed to turkey. The pita bread is soft and delicious while the lemon rice is the best I have had. Try it and I feel you'll love it! read more
