The guy I had doing my nails complained that my fingers and nails were too fat and that he couldn't find the right tips for acrylics, mind you no other nail artist i've been to has had a problem. Asked for almond and got awful round duck looking nails. When he was painting my nails two nails in I realized I did not like the color I chose and asked very politely if I could please choose a new color and the man sighed and his hands hit the table and I apologized profusely and said that if I couldn't it was okay. Where do you give 0 stars? Gave them a second chance. Only 1 working. 1 doing a pedicure. I asked for NO chip and pedi. I was told I have to have the no chip first. I said no I want the pedicure first. They said no someone else called so you have to have the mani first. They were waiting for the other person while I was standing there with money in my wallet. Came here last night for a acrylic fill. 1. The guy who did my nails cut me and made me bleed. He did not even say sorry or ask if I was ok. Just kept going. 2. The staff is not very friendly. I walked in around 6PM (they close at 7:30) and they didn't greet me and they seemed as if I was bothering them. 3. There was a woman getting her nails done next to me and she was on the cell phone pretty much the entire time. It wouldn't have been so bad but she had the person on speaker phone, both talking spanish to each other. When I get my nails done, it's me time, so I don't want to listen to that. I'm "new" to the area and have been looking for a decent nail salon and have yet to find one. Looks like I will still be going to the one by my work!! read more

I went to this nail salon and brought my 9 year old daughter to get her nails painted as well. The ladies that work there were so unfriendly to me and even worse to my daughter. 3 different people that work there yelled at my daughter and told her to get out of their way. She was just sitting in the chair next to me waiting to get her nails done. The pedicure was mediocre. I definitely did not have that pampered feeling at all. Never going back there. read more

Got gel nails for the first time. Went on a Saturday morning. The lady told me to wait 5 minutes but it turned out to be 20 minutes. This one guy did my nails and he did a good job BUT he drilled my nails a bit too much because I got two small cuts on the sides of two of my fingers. Being a girl of manners, I just stayed quiet but on the inside, it was hurting like hell. Trust me. And so after he cleaned my nails, he told me to wash my hands, and so I did. When I came back, it was a different person sitting on his chair now. It was a lady and she did the colors for my nails and it was great. I love what she did because they came out really flawless. Of the many, MANY nail salons I have tried, my nails looks the best and the polish lasts the longest when I go to Andy's. I've never had to wait longer than 10 minutes, even on busy saturday afternoons. Kim does not rush, but she still does a perfect job in a very reasonable amount of time. She is meticulous at removing any extra polish or cuticle. My hands/feet look and feel perfect afterward, and the polish lasts for weeks if I'm careful enough. Found my new favorite nail place in the Norridge area. Customer service is okay some of the staff keeps to the themselves which I do not mind too much as long as my nails look great. The lady (I wish I remembered her name because I'm going to keep requesting her) did a wonderful job on my pedicure and no-chip manicure. I was there on October 1 just looked at my nails now and absolutely no chips whatsoever! It's been over a month and my nails are still in tact (obviously just growing out). Definitely will go back. They never rushed and did and very good job. Because of me, they stayed 30 minutes past the salon's closing time and still didn't feel rushed at all.
