My friend brought me here the a couple weeks ago and I enjoyed my experience. I haven't gotten my nails done probably since I was 10, so it was a nice experience doing something different and not having to do them myself like I normally do once a week. I have long nails so it's nice that I do not feel obligated to buy acrylic nails, so manicures are always pretty enjoyable, whether I do it myself or get them done. I picked a cute darker shade of pink to bring in the fall vibes, and the woman did a nice job. I got a manicure and a pedicure, and had three different people work on me lol. I had someone start my massage chair and my massage for my legs, I had someone else actually do the painting of the toe nails, and then I had someone else do my manicure. I didn't choose this to happen, but the place was closing and so some people had to leave and they moved around. Our appointment was at 6:30 and the place closes at 8, so it was understandable, but it was hard to have different people do everything because I didn't get to see who I really liked. My nails looked good after and I got a matte top coat, but they had me go under the UV lights to dry and it didn't really dry them at all. I literally sat there for like 20 minutes, and it made my nail polish a more gel-like texture than anything because anything my nail bumped into after that made an indent in my polish. I was pretty annoyed at that, but every worker did a good job, and I really liked Linda? I think that was her name. I felt as though my toes were much more rushed than my finger nails were, and Linda was the person who did my finger nails. Once we left, I went to get food at Chick-fil-a, and taking out my credit card indented my whole nail.... even after waiting for 30 minutes for them to dry (I waited so long because my friend was still getting hers done). Sooooo idk what to say about that, but I really can't see the UV light helping to dry regular nail polish that isn't gel. Overall, the place is very nice inside and it is clean. Came in for a surprise no-chip mani and I think I've found my new favourite place to go in Chicago! Julie was a gem. She was really helpful and helped me choose the perfect colour for the holidays and was patient with my indecisiveness. Service was quick but she did not rush on my nails. This was my first and last time going to this shop. My nails look like I have had this polish on for a month and it hasn't even been 24 hrs. I was charged $50 for a Acrylic fill in and one nail repair. The sign says they do designs yet the guy doing my nails couldn't even draw a simple line. This is the worst I have ever had my nails done. I have been getting my over lay on my natural nails since I was a sophomore in high school and have never been so upset about how my nails turned out. This was my second visit and I am very satisfied with my nails. Finding a good nail tech isn't always easy. The salon is very clean. They have a nice wide variety of different colors to choose from. I liked going to Le's because I always had good service. However they have changed and are now horrible. I went for a no-chip mani and pedi. The tech they gave me looked like a 12 year old boy. He took forever to start my pedi. He cut me when he was trimming my nails. He did not give me a foot massage. The owner of the place took over and continued my pedi. Then she did my no chip mani. She tried to make it up to me by giving me a bag of chocolate. She was annoyed. To top it off, they overcharged me! $75! I refused to give a tip. Then because I knew I was overcharged I called the place when I got home and asked how much for a pedi and no chip mani and I was told $70. Place is a rip off! Terrible techs. Service sucks. This nail salon is a 2-hour vacation away from home. The salon is very dainty. There is a front section and a back section in the salon. The front section is for the manicures, and the back section is for the spa pedicures. I love how the back section's walls are painted a beautiful pink pastel. They have very relaxing pictures on the walls that takes you away from everything going crazy in normal life lol. I came here with a bunch of girlfriends for a surprise b-day, and I had a blast. In order to have the private party, the nail salon had to close just for us 8 girls equipped with the music of our choice. We were also able to bring our own food and drinks to this nail salon! The owner, Theresa, was so kind to make us a huge tray of her delicious Vietnamese egg rolls. These egg rolls were super awesome, really! (Sidenote: she sells these huge trays of huge Vietnamese egg rolls for about $25) If you think the egg rolls were great, the mani/pedi was superb. They start you off in their massaging leather chairs with your feet in the relaxing, hot, blue water. During the spa pedicure, they apply a beaded scrub to your calves and feet. And, this nail salon has been the first one to ever apply a scrub to my legs, which was awesome! After the scrub, they apply a citrus-grapefruit lotion on my legs equipped with a mini-massage. They did a fantastic job with cleaning my cuticles and applying the polish, which they have an extensive array of colors to choose from. (OPI included!) They even offered to do a design on my nails. If ever you need a private party for your girls or even a pedicure to show off in your cute sandals this summer, this nail salon is the place to go! Second time being here. My mom loves this place because it's CLEAN! I like to get my nails done by Haley. She does exactly what I want and before she paints them, she asks you to make sure you like the shape. The pedicure area of the salon is so relaxing. It's dimmed light and there's glowing stars on the ceiling . I could take a nap. They use a sugar scrub on your legs also which usually most places charge extra. :) Another perk is most of their employees speak fluent English so it's smooth communication! read more

I walked in on a Wednesday morning at 10:50 to get a no chip manicure and pedicure. They put me in one of the massage chairs in the back, didn't fill my water for 10 minute. When they finally added water, the water was lukewarm. No one checked to see if the water was a good temperature. Then had me sit in the lukewarm water for 30 minutes. They only started to pay attention to me when I got up and started to leave. My question is if someone was available to start my nails when I complained, where was this person while I waited for a total of 40 minutes? This is the second time I've had a crazy wait at this nail salon (I don't mind waiting. It's the waiting in lukewarm water that bothers me). Also the pedicure I received the last time I came here, only lasted for less than a week. Also they laughed at me when I left. I have had yelp for years and have never felt so angry and offended enough to write a review until now. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. The people are rude and the service is mediocre, at best. read more

I went in to get a no chip manicure on a Monday it lasted me four days before they started chipping. The week before that I had also gone to get my nails done they told me since they didn't last I wouldn't have to pay for the next ser that i did, but turned out that I had to. They themselves included the tip for me it was originally supposed to be 30$ but they charged me $45. They made me pay when they said they would do it free. Bad service I really don't recommend!!! read more

Worst customer service ever!! I understand that the weekends are busy but that shouldn't mean that you rush a service that you are paying for. Me and my mom went in for pedicure and the lady that did my mom nail HORRIBLE! She was very rude to my mom as was the lady that was doing my nails was being rude to my mom. My mom pointed out that she had a cuticle sticking out and if she can cut and the lady look at my mom rolled her eyes and ripped it off. She then proceeded to doing the worst paint job on her toes it looked like a 5 year old did her nails didn't even bother to clean it up or put a top coat because they where busy. I am incredibly annoyed with the quality work from this place. I had come here because Google showed me a pretty good rating on the place and assumed that I get a good quality of work done. After having my nails done, you can tell that the work done for the acrylics wasn't done well. It already looked as though the nails would fall off and or it wasn't set to fill the whole nail. I was in no rush, nor were there any customers waiting after me for the lack of detail on my nails to be acceptable. I have gotten acrylics done many times from different places and I have never been as disappointed as I was with the work done here. The filing was rushed and incredibly painful that I had had open cuts from the filing on the tips of my fingers. My cuticles had not been pushed down or properly attended to to make the job look clean. Some nails turned out to be longer or wider than others. Had I known the quality work that I would be getting before going in, I would have just gone to the Walgreens down the street to buy the fake stick-on nails there since that's what the work looked like. i had to park on the side street, but that was ok. Located in the strip mall across Irving Park Road from the HIP mall. Very busy salon. Very clean. Loved the massaging chairs and the jet foot bath in the pedi area. Did not like that someone brought their kid to work that day and she kept crying for her mama...... Finger nails filed a little rough, and that caused one to start chipping as soon as i got home, but i hit it with my own file and a quick coat of clear saved the day! I would go back and try them again and hope for a different nail tech. read more

My actual pedicure was decent, the gentleman who did my pedicure was very nice and it wasn't until I went to pay that I was over this place. I've been going here on and off for about a year and I really like it here! I went and got a regular mani/pedi today, about an hour before closing and the girl I got was amazing!! My toes were honestly so bad and my heels were cracked and dry and she performed something close to a miracle on them I have heel fissures so my heels get super cracked and dry and she managed to get SO much dead skin off- and she made my pinky toe actually look good which I thought was impossible! And when it reached closing time and she was still doing my manicure she never made me feel rushed or like I was a burden for keeping her late. We finished around 6:30 and the entire staff was super nice, even helping me walk so I wouldn't slip on the freshly mopped floor. I have anxiety so the fact that they didn't rush, or made me feel rushed was such a relief and a nice touch. I will definitely be going back! read more

I wanted to get a french manicure, and noticed that this salon offered no-chip french manicures. Awesome! I work with kids, and wash my hands about a thousand times a day - I need something to last more than a few days. They've redesigned the salon since the last time I was here. And I had a great experience the last time I was here, because it felt just a little more private per nail station. The front of the salon is still for manicure stations, but instead of individual tables, there are two long tables, with a UV lamp/fan attached to each station. That's pretty nice, and prevents that whole clunky machine from being put on the table. I personally hate the setup, as I'm on top of other people and technicians. They don't even have a front desk anymore, just a tiny table with something to show the menu and prices, and barely enough room for a clipboard to sign in. The register and credit card machine are in a little nook in the corner. I sat down and was told that my technician was finishing his lunch, so I would be waiting for a few minutes. WHAT? I definitely understand someone needing to eat their lunch, but to tell me that is awful. Who wants to feel like they are rushing someone's lunch, especially because when they finished, they had to do something for you? There was one technician there (with very short hair), who was clearly popular and had personal relationships with some of the other customers, but they did not (do not) have one with me. I don't want to hear another technician refer to another person as a b****, because I don't know if she is talking about a customer or another technician. At one point, I misheard my technician, who didn't speak loudly, and this technician first laughed at me, and then had their customer laugh at me as well. She had the audacity to ask me if I'd been drinking too much. They also started talking about the big turnover in technicians. Kyle (my technician, at least that's the name I caught) clearly looked uncomfortable at this exchange, so brownie points for him. My nails look nice, but not how I really wanted them to look. I wanted a thinner line for the white polish, and my nails aren't square or round, but kind of like softened trapezoids. My cuticles look great, though, and they're usually my biggest problem. A forearm and hand massage was a part of this manicure, and I'm glad I was asked to pay when my manicure was dry. I will not be back to this salon - the rude technician ruined this salon for me, and I would never want them as my technician if I do another walk-in appointment. read more
