It's rare to see an owner so hands-on and genuinely engaged with customers. I checked in at 30 minutes past reservation and they said they were "cleaning a table", then 40 minutes past reservation I checked in again, and then they said they will push two tables together... so they weren't cleaning any table for us. They sat 2 6-tops prior to us, plus numerous other larger groups. Having worked as a head host in the restaurant industry before, at first I thought it was because they all had reservations and were just before us in those, but as they sat ~15 groups before us, I started to notice we were being neglected. Even standing right in front of the hostess station. We were sat finally 45 minutes post reservation. (55m total wait time - the day before Mother's Day, with a reservation scheduled 3 days before.) Chelsea our server was phenomenal, the food is always good, high quality and made with care.
