    Duck a l'orange
    Jason J.

Great food with a more formal but still casual atmosphere. Staff was very attentive and the chef came out to check how we liked our meals. Escargot was not as good as Paris, but some of the better that I've had in the states. The quail stuffed jalapeño poppers were really good too. I had the duck a l'orange and the cod chowder. Both were excellent! They have a private parking lot to the side which is great in the downtown area where it can be limited. Prices are higher but worth it for the quality and presentation. Definitely will be a return visit when I'm back in town.

I've been to Hannah's a few times for dinner and different events, and it's always a great experience. The menu has some nice, well-done dishes and it feels more upscale than what Denton used to offer. The ambiance is classy, definitely not a sweats kind of place. Service has been good, my water glass is always filled and the drinky- drinks are not only tasty but super cute. It's a perfect spot for any occasion you're celebrating or even generally for a nice meal.

Went for Sunday brunch and was BLOWN AWAY by the quiche! I was hesitant to order because of the price but it wound up being cartoonishly big and SO tasty (almost decadent). It was definitely worth the cost- I left happy and full. The restaurant itself is really nice with simple vibes and the staff was attentive. I definitely plan to return!

This is a very elegant restaurant. Before you even visit the place, please set a reservation because it gets busy during the weekends and parking is only reserved for the restaurant. People will be towed if you arent a guest and you park in their exclusive parking lot. The menu is very simple and the food is delicious! The burger with bacon mixed in the patty made me question its safety. Pork is supposed to be cooked to 165F and having a burger with bacon mixed in that's not well done (or cooked to 165F) could be a health risk since the server asked us how we wanted our burger cooked. Maybe yall can answer this question? Overall, besides food safety, my group and I had phenomenal food! Our server was patient and took her time to repeat our orders back to her. The cherry on top was the carrot cake which was incredible!! It's homemade. Not too sweet; absolute perfection! Overall, this is a good place to dine.

An upscale restuarant with delicious food, great service and good ambiance. The steak was juicy and tender. The wild mushroom tortilleni had great flavors. Overall had a good time there.

Absolutely perfect experience. Service was impeccable with just the right balance of attention without overstaying. We started with the bacon wrapped dates with shishito peppers that were crisp and packed with flavor without being too sweet. The mains were the smoked duck and goat cheese flatbread (crust was both crunchy and chewy as it should be and the duck was very tender) and the pork duo platter with pork belly and a tenderloin with creamed cabbage, pear puree and a wine reduction (fantastic!). Dessert was their flourless chocolate cake that was dense, rich, and reminiscent of dark chocolate fudge. Possibly the star of the meal as it was unlike any flourless cake I've had. Overall, I give our visit a 6 out of 5 stars!

I was in the area back in September and had a ton of time to kill and I just did a simple search of restaurants open near me. This one popped up amongst a few others, it didn't necessarily have the best reviews but I really was intrigued by the menu and photos. I made a reservation and went. I really didn't need a reservation for lunch, I was maybe one of 2 or 3 tables in the building. This place is located in the downtown area and has its own parking lot next to the building which is great. Walking in I reminded me of an older classy restaurant vibe near the bar. The host was very nice and seated me in the main dining room. My waitress was the sweetest, wish I would've gotten her name, she was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave decent recommendations. I love that they had Aqua Pana for water. I remember there was an item on the menu that initially peeked my interest, but when asking about it I was informed that particular item was a seasonal thing. Some of the items are seasonal. Love that but at the same time I was a tad bummed. I basically ordered enough food for like 4 people for myself. I had two large bags to bring home! Service was great here, food came out fairly fast, presentation was for the most part was pretty, portions were hefty and price point was decent on most items. My favorite items were the white bean hummus; the texture and taste combination with the almond, hummus and arugula was really nice. The truffle pomme frites were surprisingly excellent. Cooked to perfection, right amount of truffle and a ginormous portion. The key lime pie was really good. Last one of my favs was the bacon wrapped dates. I usually get these as my favorite steakhouse in Allen, so I couldn't pass these up. Only wish was that the dates were larger. So the next dish was the summer burrata. This was not bad but not great. Burrata has so much potential to be excellent and most places just do the normal heirloom tomatoes with basil, so of course I was intrigued with the ingredients. Personally it would've been way better if they just served it with the peaches or the watermelon; not both. It was a tad too busy and confusing with flavors eaten with both fruits. But apart it was really good. The ceviche was a bummer for me. The flavors didn't merry well and over all this was kinda bland. Beautiful presentation just not executed well with flavors for myself. Last was the bavette it was cooked to a perfect medium rare and was overall good but without the chimichurri the meat was bland. The Brussels were great, but the large amount of arugula placed as a side felt like an afterthought and wasn't listed on the menu description. Really wish I would've tried the salmon instead. But there's always next time. Overall my experience here was great and it was a nice little find in the area.

Birthday brunch! Amazing good food and service. The manager is nice too. Sides were great. As always the menu has great breakfast and more.

My time at Hannah's wasn't terrible by any means, but for the "fancier" vibes that's often reported about them, I had high expectations. It's a larger restaurant with plenty of seating. Fresh flowers decorated every table. The music was at pleasant volume. They have a sizable and diverse menu, so you're bound to find something. My server was quick to greet me, give water, and take my drink order. I started with the soup du jour; a roasted lamb and duck soup. It didn't look very appetizing and tasted how it looked. It was very bland. Tasted more like a pot roast I made at home than lamb or duck. I ordered the grilled wagyu bavette steak as my entree with an order of grilled shrimp. To my dismay, there was a hair front and center on one of my shrimp. My waitress removed the shrimp and I was given three fresh grilled shrimp. The steak had good flavor and was cooked perfectly (medium rare). The chimichurri was delicious. The bed of Brussels sprouts was also yummy. The fries it came with were not good; they were cut extremely thick (about an inch) resulting in some undercooked fries. The entire meal was a good serving. I ordered the carrot cake for desert. It was good, but the cream cheese frosting was on the verge of being too sweet. It was a very moist cake though. This desert was comped (which I wasn't told when ordering) due to the hair on the shrimp. Overall I enjoyed my visit to Hannah's. 3 stars feels too low but 4 stars feels too high. The bland soup, undercooked fries, and hair on the shrimp tainted my first experience here. I would come back, but I'm not rushing it.

Went for my birthday dinner last month and everything was excellent. Our server, Stevie, was so great at recommending entrees when I couldn't decide and the risotto app we had was so good. So thankful for them for making it a wonderful evening!

Let's start with the server. Morgan was outstanding. Would ask to sit in her section again. Super informative and friendly. Seemed to actually care for us. The food, brunch, was REALLY good. Had the bacon wrapped dates, jalapeño quiche, and the brioche french toast. All of it was great. Really glad our normal place was too busy. Because of that, we ended up here and will absolutely be back.

We went to Hannah's for my birthday for brunch. When we first arrived (no reservations for a Saturday brunch, we were greeted by a smiling hostess and asked for a square four-top table, to be able to sit next to each other in case it was too noisy and we could hear each other without yelling or having to raise our voices. The hostess took us to the back of the restaurant and put us in a rectangular booth. Before she left, we asked if we could be seated (again) at a square table. We were informed that all the squares were recovered and we could be seated in the bar. As we were taken to the bar, we noticed a high volume of the air-conditioning and heard no music. There was one couple at the bar and another couple seated at another four-top. Our server (the bartender) was wonderful, letting us know that an "On the House" birthday dessert was ready for us as we finished our meals. We started off sharing the Blue Oyster Mushroom appetizer. Magnificent! Lightly breaded with rice flour and fried and the mushrooms were oh so juicy. The two sauces which came with them, CHIPOTLE AIOLI & SWEET CHILE SAUCE, were perfect. Our entrees were the quiche and smoked salmon crepes. The quiche was the best I have ever had, but the crepes were not appropriate. I will only give high praise to the quiche, but must now write about the crepes, which were over-sauced (compare my picture below to their website's picture). The eggs inside of the crepes were rounded, which tells me that they were left over and reheated. The amount of the "Scottish Smoked Salmon" was hardly enough to be distinguishable. Again, look at my picture below and their online picture. The yellow color of the sauce I was served was day and night difference to the picture shown. Plus, there was so much of a sauce served on my order that I could not taste the egg in the crepe. There was no sign of a "smoked tomato" in the "bearnaise" sauce, nor could I taste any tarragon in the sauce, which is standard to all bearnaise. The entree was served flat, without any garnish, as shown in their menu picture. My complimentary dessert was a poached pear. I will not get into detail for this, however, I will say that it was served cold, I could not taste any distinctive flavor from what the pear was poached in and is was so hard that I had to use a steak knife to cut it. This was a hit and miss. We MAY go back for some other time, but it certainly will not be for the crepes or poached pear.

Carne Asada & Enchilidas - quite good and comes with tortillas. I got the corn tortillas and it was good. Their grilled jalapeno is HOT! The enchilidas also has a sauce that is quite spicy but good. The other side is for Pepitas, their vegan half of the restaurant. Yesterday morning, we got together for brunch - after having been vaccinated so felt a modicum of safety. The staff were all masked up and wearing gloves as they dispensed chips and salsa along the table. The red salsa is pretty mild so we asked for their green tomatillo, which has a little heat. I also asked for a side of refried black beans to use as a dip. The queso was good too. I'd been thinking about their new brunch board every since they've re-launched brunch! Holy frijoles! Torn between pozole because I love soup for breakfast. My hubby and I split the brunch board. It's a little pricey but you can totally split that meal with at least 3-4 people. It had a little bit of everything! Breakfast quesadilla bites stuffed with bacon, cheese and fluffy eggs. Brisket tostadas with eggs and veggies. A huge spinach, mushroom, onion omelette and some amazing pan fried potatoes with green peppers and onions. It all came with some sauce for the omelette but I was looking for some heat! The Diablo sauce was delicious and front of the tongue habanero spiced hit. I loved it all! AND there was a huge Mexican pastry split in half and generously slathered with Nutella and banana slices. We were able to share the pastry with the entire table. I would order that omelette on it's own. The breakfast potatoes are awesome and pan fried. I think the highlights were the brisket tostadas, piled high with meat, eggs and cheese. The pastry was delicious and dangerous - it's too close to summer for all that sugar. But, we'll definitely be back. The mimosas are made with fresh fruit and juices. The top shelf margaritas are worth what you pay for so just be mindful of ordering too many. I also took the leftovers for breakfast, snack and lunch again today. Muy bueno! What are you waiting for? Go there, get some. Life is too short for boring food - and be sure to add a side of Diablo to spice up your life :)

In addition to the regular menu, there was a Wednesday Dinner Special and the Bar Top Bites menus. Of the three items on the Dinner Special menu, only the Cheesecake Basque dessert was on the regular menu, priced the same. Believing the portion size would be appropriate, I decided on The Hottie Calzone from the Bar Top Bites menu. The calzone took about 16 minutes. The server almost served my food to the customer who sat next to me. When the bartender came to check on me, she mentioned the calzone was missing the marinara on the side, and immediately went to the kitchen to grab it. The calzone was smaller than expected. Nor was it as stuffed as hoped. Considering its price was about half of their equivalent 12-inch two-topping pizza, it should have been expected. Because the jalapeño was not overpowering, the combination of the pepperoni, mozzarella, and the peppers was enjoyable. Although I still had an appetite, I passed on dessert. Many of the dessert items were served with caramel ice cream. Not a flavor top on my list. Also, my dining experience was not entirely pleasant. A nearby customer and the manager had a somewhat lengthy discussion about paying for an ice cube. Although it ended before I finished my meal, I was not in the mood to stay longer. On a minor note, it appears the wireless chargers have been disabled. Unlike my prior visit, they are no longer labeled "Wireless Charger".
